1pd 06:53 New Jersey Devils Cam Janssen
Comments: Right off of the faceoff the two drop the gloves and square off at the blueline. They grab ahold of each other and wrestle around for a bit until Murray starts things off with a right. Janssen responds with a right of his own and they exchange a couple of more after that. Janssen shakes off his elbow pad and proceeds to throw five straight rights to the back and side of Murray's head while Murray is only able to counter with a wild right during the exchange. Murray starts to come back with a right cross followed by two overhand lefts. Murray lands another left and they go back and forth with punches for a short while. Janssen makes it a point to wave the linesmen away and connects with four rights to the back of Murray's head. Janssen then pushes Murray to the ice and starts to skate away just as the linesmen start to come in.

Very good (long) fight for these days. Cam J. won. He was more accurate and took over clearly near the end in a spirited bout. Pretty good showing by Murray.

That might be the best fight so far this year. Murry did well, but, at the end, Janssen Landed a bunch for the win. Both guys were willing to get in there and take a punch to land one- too bad they are not all like this one!

this fight was all cam as they discussed this fight before the puck was dropped with cam on the RW and Garth was on LW accross from him adn as the puck drops as do the gloves an cam rolls his jersey up above his elbow pad as they square off an arrange their equipment how they want it to be for the fight then they come together and begin to throw sum punches with cam throwing 3-4 and murray throwing 2-3 of his own at the same time and then they grapple for positiona bit then throw sum more overhand rights and then they grapple sum mroe then both switch to the lefts and throw a few of those then Cam shows his strength by pretty much spinning Murray around in a circle and almost throwin him accross the ice cuz murray at this point is on pretty well one leg doina triple lutz while eating punches from Cam then murray gets his balance back and then they exchange sum more punches with Jannsen landing most of the punches and pretty dominating the fight from this point on cuz after he throws these final punches he basically throws Murray down to the ice and skates to the penalty box. CAM JANNSEN DECISIVE WIN becuz he dominated this fight for the most part.

I'm a huge Habs fan (cough), but it's clear that Janssen is the winner.

Murray is always game and hangs in there well most of the time, but Janssen gets the late win in this one.

I think it's fair to say that Janssen is in the heavyweight class, despite his size, and Murray is probably in the light heavyweight class, so Murray does well to make this a close fight until the end when Janssen takes over. I don't think any damage was done, but Janssen's edge in strength and endurance gives him the win here.

This was similar to their first fight (last year I think) where Murray did quite well but took the loss towards the end of the fight. So both guys are pretty close but Janssen will probably always edge out Murray because of he's a bit stronger and has much better endurance.

BTW, hey FBL27, why don't you stick to the DYG site and not contaminate this excellent site with your stupidity.

Nice puch from Murray (only one) but the guy was no match for Janssen

Not much of a fight to me, lots of puches to the shoulder pads. Janssen lasts longer, so he gets the win. Watch the video again, though. Janssen's pre-fight dance needs some work. Kinda looks like he's keeping his legs warm during the anthem.

Jannsen is way overrated, but he clearly won this bout based on the number of punches thrown. I hate to watch this guy play, he has no talent and runs everyone - His time is going to come............

Good entertaining scrap. The beginning was pretty even, but then Janssen just overpowered Murray and gave it to him. Clear win Janssen.

it was a close battle, but no matter, Janssen is the more experienced fighter as he wins this spirited bout.
