Matt Hendricks is going to get seriously injured one day. The guy is a TERRIBLE fighter and somehow thinks he's a tough guy. He's going to go up against the wrong guy one night and get decapitated. Hendricks knocked Brown down with what, basically, was a push, …then Brown quickly got up and practically put his fist through Hendricks face. Good effort by the misguided Matt Hendricks, but don't let the effort fool ya', ...the result of this fight was a KO for Brown.

" Look at Hendrix" kevin quinn, youre almost as bad as jack edwards....idiot.

Posted by Humper on January 30, 2014 at 07:29 AM

What can Brown do for you, besides putting your nose on the backside of your head?

Posted by sharp on January 30, 2014 at 01:33 AM

TKO Brown , how can anyone call this a draw.Hendricks day to day upper body injury.

Posted by Biggus on January 30, 2014 at 12:54 AM

Pretty wild start, but Brown catches Hendricks with a left and that's all folks.

Posted by breakupboss on January 30, 2014 at 08:02 PM

The reason they got rid of brown is that they have Gazdic. At least Hendricks can play hockey!

Posted by cheesecup on January 30, 2014 at 12:01 AM

Yeah it's getting pretty hard to feel bad for Hendricks. I'm sure he's a nice guy and all but every time he drops the gloves the result is so predictable. Tko for Brown. Btw, check out their first fight, wicked awesome

Posted by shawn46 on January 30, 2014 at 10:51 AM

Washington rode Hendricks as their sole tough guy, like a biker with a head full of meth rides a roofied bar maid on a pool table, until his hands were mush then cast him side much like the metaphor used earlier. Now like a punch drunk Ali he is left to be THAT guy on the team who "stands up" for the team and commands respect by being able to withstand much punishment.

Posted by MeatPlow on February 01, 2014 at 12:05 PM

Hope Hendricks isnt concussed from the punch or the his head bouncing off the ice. He started out well but suddenly ended abruptly. Brown is a pitbull.

Posted by cory411 on January 29, 2014 at 11:15 PM

Lucky Hendricks head didn't go into the crowd.. Win Brown.. I hate people like Hendriicks.. Not allowing a guy up and still throwing punches while he is down... All I have to say is Karma.. Hendricks got blasted.. And minus points to the idiot "massive coiler" ..below me.. What a tool for choosing Hendricks with the win..

Posted by fernben8 on January 30, 2014 at 08:20 AM

A fairly good example on how to take a few to get one in.... I took a look at their previous fight and Hendricks took a left in that one as well. Nice knock down.

Posted by EK65 on January 30, 2014 at 02:03 AM

Okay, so. Mike Brown wins..Hendricks negative props for swinging at a downed opponent. Brown props for a big left connecting... The already mentioned comment about Hendricks not being a "fighter" covers most of it.. although I gotta say I have to watch Mike Brown fights more than once because by the time I full screen and it loads the fight is over with (I have a 12 inch netbook) his fights are very short but highly entertaining..

Posted by BennyD on January 30, 2014 at 11:05 AM

This one is pretty easy: TKO for Brown and a 6.

Posted by sedinfan on January 30, 2014 at 01:43 AM

I guess Edmonton should have kept Brown, Hendricks is a terrible fighter.

Posted by gorman0 on January 30, 2014 at 09:14 PM

BOOM. Ko win to Brown

Posted by slarrivee11 on February 01, 2014 at 10:51 PM

Broken nose for hendericks

Posted by shawnrocks on January 30, 2014 at 12:15 AM

2 tough guys. Brown with the win. Browns an under rated fighter. Hendricks should have returned the favor and let brown back up.

Posted by Orr Fourever on January 30, 2014 at 07:54 AM

TKO Brown.

The classic choke slam. Ouch.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on January 31, 2014 at 03:37 AM

I love watching Hendricks get dropped like a ton of $hit! Brownie absolutely hammered him!

Posted by English_Bruin on January 30, 2014 at 12:22 PM

Brown showed more class there not hitting Hendricks when he was down.

Posted by mmadced on February 01, 2014 at 02:52 PM

king of goofs is wrong like always, Hendricks is a tough kid and has been playin like that all his life as he got a good pop in ealey as well DUUH....slight edge to brownie

Posted by GoonVisor on January 30, 2014 at 10:23 AM

One quick left is the difference between "I'm winning this fight" and "I'm on my back with a nose full of blood". 4 Brownie

Posted by Behn Wilson on January 30, 2014 at 01:56 PM

Brown goes down early but then realizing who he's fighting quickly regains his footing... and delivers a left handed reality check that probably felt as painful as it looked I'm also in complete agreement with "my attorney" KingOfGoons on the back story One day probably sooner rather than later Dorsett's...I mean Hendricks' distinct lack of defence... much less technique... is going to get him seriously "Rolfed" (as in Dale... for you younger pups)

Both got good solid shots in, love watching these guys go because they both just started chuckin knucks, rather than this, you punch, i punch crap.

Posted by kkdowning on February 01, 2014 at 12:27 PM

Hendy has heart and usually figures out a way to not get rocked. This time, not so much.

Posted by chad420 on February 02, 2014 at 12:05 PM

"One shot,one kill(snipers moto)....win MB

Posted by travist on January 30, 2014 at 05:06 PM

solid punch by brownie

Posted by grocerystick on January 30, 2014 at 12:09 AM

I almost thought Hendricks was gonna win one there for a second... As a side note, at the end of the year when the fighting awards are voted on can we add "The Speedbag of the Year" award to honor guys like Hendricks, Crombeen, and Campbell?

Posted by jimmat on February 01, 2014 at 09:41 AM

As usual Brown delivers the entertainment. And a clear TKO over the misguided Hendricks.

Posted by grrbronco81 on January 30, 2014 at 01:07 PM

Brown loses balance then gets off his knees and nails Hendricks with a Left. Hendricks tried to hit Brown when he was down. Punk move.

Posted by BillyFromPhilly on February 26, 2014 at 01:10 PM

Anyone get the license plate on that left hand?

Posted by Clowes ABeast29 on January 30, 2014 at 10:22 PM

TKO KD W MB Lol Hendrix is browns replacement This dude gets lit up every few fights And seriously lit up once a year!!! Stop dropping em for your health Hendrix You can play a regular shift Just play fight when you have to not to do it cause you think you can do what you can't! ;)

Posted by DARCY T on January 30, 2014 at 04:17 AM

even though hendricks improved little bit over last season i was surprised how well he started here with brown.brown was in trouble from beginning but got up and sent hendricks down with his left

Posted by joshzorp on January 30, 2014 at 12:00 PM

Hendricks left Wednesday's game against the Sharks with a head injury and will not return. Yeah Draw sounds about right.....

Posted by Great Murray on January 30, 2014 at 04:17 PM

BOOM! Brown takes a couple and then lowers it on Hendricks! They have to do that again soon!

Posted by Daysofcoleco on January 30, 2014 at 09:59 AM

To Hindricks mom who said brown headbutted him, 0:54 - clean punch to the glass jaw.

Posted by lv42daze on January 30, 2014 at 12:23 AM

downtown julie brown.

Posted by doobi1 on January 30, 2014 at 02:33 PM

Brown really gave it to Hendricks but, with all due respect, Hendricks landed an A-Bomb. I'm giving it to Brown because he just picked himself up and skated away. Loved this short bout.

Posted by Lvlv702 on January 30, 2014 at 01:15 PM

Win brown. "Brown's helmet hit Hendricks not his fist, Brownie narrowly missed getting his ass handed to him. All you idiots who think you know $#!+ need to watch the videos closer." - Posted by treblecharger You OK? you sniff glue? When Brown pops up, he lands two solid lefts.. which drop Hendricks.. Maybe take your own advice? here is a vid with a reverse angle to help ya out bud... http://video.sharks.nhl.com/videocenter/console?id=551023&catid=125

Posted by yokomp on January 30, 2014 at 12:29 AM

How could anybody vote for Hendricks in this onesided bout??

Posted by kmd19 on January 30, 2014 at 09:28 AM

Great, if not pretty, fight. It looked like two cats whirl-winding from a Warner Brothers cartoon!

Posted by dg33garcia on January 30, 2014 at 09:56 AM

Hendricks early,,, But Brownie gets him with 2 beauties from the left side.. I was watching this game on TV, they slow mo'ed it,, those lefts were right on the button.

Posted by slavv on January 30, 2014 at 04:58 PM

One good knockdown deserves another. Looked like Brown was gonna be finished when he took an uppercut and went down. Quick scramble to his feet followed by a sweet left and Hendricks was down, bloodied, and off to the locker room. Great stuff!!!!

Posted by jnk07899 on January 30, 2014 at 03:48 PM

Wow! This was a fight unlike any I've ever seen! Brown with a big win in a unique way!

Posted by redlenses on February 03, 2014 at 02:59 PM

It looked like Brown knocked him out literally and hit him a second time on the way down. One of the best punches I've seen in a hockey game.

Posted by SURESHOT27 on February 03, 2014 at 09:33 AM

Early...the jackhammer gets off balance then...wait for it.....BANG, SIT DOWN. I love this guy!!!!

Posted by knnite on January 30, 2014 at 11:23 PM

They could have kept Brown for half the price! Ya let's build through the draft......how's that working for ya Oil?

Brownie with a falcon punch.

Posted by bigmike53 on January 30, 2014 at 01:08 AM

Good fiery scrap with knockdowns for each guy. Brown lands two wicked lefts and finishes off a game but slightly overmatched Hendricks.

Posted by staceyb on January 30, 2014 at 04:24 AM

With the punishing left Brownie wins the fight.

Posted by MassHole on January 29, 2014 at 11:10 PM

i dunno,i feel like tko.

Posted by Amerkfan8 on January 30, 2014 at 10:04 PM

Each guy knocked the other down. Short fight and a draw.

Posted by bdpetroni on January 29, 2014 at 11:25 PM

Thank you, Mike Brown. I've been wanting to see Hendricks get KO'ed ever since that POS jumped Nathan Horton off a faceoff last year. Hendricks was already swinging away before Horton even had a chance to get his gloves off. Then, once Horton had his gloves off, Hendricks dove to the ice. Horton actually lifted him up off the ice so he could kick his head in, and I think Horton injured his shoulder in the process. Hendricks is as cheap a fighter as they come.

Posted by woolly mammoth on January 30, 2014 at 02:50 AM

Massive coiler needs a massive lobotomy.

Posted by SouthPaw017 on January 29, 2014 at 11:53 PM

Brown-eye makes Hendricks' nose blue, with a dash of red....

Posted by rocky 1 on January 30, 2014 at 01:06 AM

Look folks this was a draw!CEarly in the fight Brown was sent to the ice with a punch and hendricks was decked by a punch at the end that sent him to the ice.You call that a DRAW!

Posted by treblecharger on January 30, 2014 at 08:59 AM

Brown's helmet hit Hendricks not his fist, Brownie narrowly missed getting his ass handed to him. All you idiots who think you know $#!+ need to watch the videos closer.

Posted by Massive Coiler on January 29, 2014 at 11:01 PM

Both guys with knockdowns in this short, spirited bout. I suppose you could give Hendricks the win for the last shot or even Brown the win for the early stuff, but I'm going draw.
