Newbury gets the jump, and even, starts well,
only to find out the hard way
that Mike Brown is one of the league's
most underrated fighters
.
Love him, or hate him
the fact that Brown managed to
make Newbury do the ''funky-chicken'',
twice in the same fight... is both, rare, and impressive.

Brownie with the punching power overwhelms Newbury.

I used to criticize Brown, I take it back. I think that is the second guy he has dropped this year and he seems to have the hand speed of Sugar Ray Leonard.

Agree, "wow". Brown literally jack-hammered Newbury to the ice twice. great stuff -- absolutely no thought of defense

Tuck your chin in...and fire the machine guns !
Not taking anything away from Mike, It works well for him but he's gotta be careful - being so one dimensional.
Next time, a smarter fighter will work around his style...
Gave it a 7.

That gem coming from Brown shocks me. He put on one of the best displays I have ever seen. That was an incredible amount of punches landed, and Newbury is no walk in the park either. I'm calling that a 9, but I wouldn't say a 10 is out of the question.

I'd like to see Newbury's mug tomorrow.

Great exchanges by both, but Brown proves to be much the harder puncher by dropping Newbury twice for the TKO.

No pretense at defence in this one. They both start off like a two cylinder engine but Newbury feels one and then slowly wilts under the barrage. Short and sweet.
