Brown gives him a whack, and Vandemeer obliges.

I liked the effort from both of these guys, so I'm going draw.

Brownie trying to rally the troops initiated the bout, but with both fighters alternating the lefts and rights the decision narrowly goes to Vandy.

Jake Gardiner scored a minute later and the rest of the game was a real knuckle-biter.

slight edge to Brown -- he is 1 dimensional, but fun to watch. Good effort

That was highly entertaining. Gotta go draw- I think both guys landed several each.

V got a few in but Brown comes back only to get tagged with a decent shot. The linesmen give both fighters a head fake like they are coming in to break it up, but they back off for some reason. I don't like the linesmen jumping in too soon, but its really bad if they half way come in and back off. V is really good at keeping his head moving. He can also take a few to give a few. Scorp is essentially right. I say a slight edge to V or draw. The last punch were Brown is buckled and on the ice evens things out a lot.

I always like the Brown-eye fights as he tucks his chin and just rips the right hands in rapid fire succession. Vander-beer went South Paw and landed some nice counters. Good fight with some mutual respect at the end.

This was a draw, but will go with Vandermeer to counteract the Toronto homers. Someone with a good low looping uppercut is gonna knock Brown TF out one of these days with this duck and chuck thing he's got going.

Gave it to Brown 10-9.5, but honestly it could be a draw...I gotta say this, the hockey world is lucky MB isn't 6'4"... if he was he'd be a killer.

Another great fight wow, Brown early and Vandy late. But I will give the slight edge to Brownie as he was able to get the jackhammer going in this fracas
