Huh? I think this is funny. You guys need to stop ripping on Toews. He is a very skilled player that manned up and tried fighting a fairly tough guy; It didn't work out well at all but good for him for trying...

For those of you questioning Toews mindset and ripping on him. If you remember last year Thornton sucker punched Toews in the back of the head during a scrum last year which was the cause of his concussion. He was looking for payback and he obviously is not a fighter but at least he had the balls to try and handle his own business. Easy win for Thornton but what Toews attempted to do solidifies his status as to why he wears the "C".

Refs sucked. Toews deserves boarding, instigator, Unsportsman Like (shield) and misconduct. Refs just loving Hawks this year. Big Joe Easy Win.

Win Jumbo Joe

For those of you unaware, Jumbo Joe heckles Toews every game, and it came as no surprise to me that Toews wanted to get some "revenge." It didn't work for him, but this sparked the 'Hawks on their way to another win.

Weird -- must be bad blood for Toews to do that. Plus take your helmet off Toews -- your supposed to be Capt. Canada . . .

If Toews wanted to fight someone, he should have tried Vlasic. No contest here and Thornton eased up on him.
