Alzner has his annual fight and does not fare well against the spark plug Downie. At this point of the game the flight seemed to ignite the moribund Bolts but they still lost.

going with slight edge for Milquetoast Alzner in what really is his first fight. Downie's only shot that landed was when Alzner was down. Have you ever heard Alzner speak, he sounds like a 6th grader and is unfailingly polite

downie stuck one in under alzners visor.it must be tough to get under though shields,very small window.ps:why does downie get so much flack,the guy is not big and he is game,more then 95%of the guys bigger then him in the game.he has the scars to prove it,i take him on my team any day of the week.i know he would have my back more then i can say about 2/3rds of the league.

Karl's first fracas. Did well. I think he really woke up Downie with that first right and also got him later in the tilt with another solid right. Looked to me that Steve got in 3 decent shots and the take down. Draw.

For someone who almost never fights, Alzy held his own, but gotta give the edge to Downie.
