Hopefully these two dudes will give it up before the onset of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy. Its better to be poor and know what day it is than having money and a brain of mush.

Solid, drama-free, draw as McGrattan can't establish position, and Magnum, holds his own. [email protected]

Posted by Riomouse911 on December 11, 2011 at 03:50 PM

Back and forth draw, nuthin' major landing for either guy.

Posted by KO22 on December 11, 2011 at 09:34 AM

It's funny watching Parros fight when he's afraid to lose, rather than balls out against smaller inferior opponents, which is most nights. McGrattan beat his a$$ last time and big Georgie was very aware of the potential damage that could be inflicted. Not a Parros fan in general but a boring draw in my estimation, especially compared to their last bout.

two very good fighters...even match

An obligatory early game fight to please all the NASCAR fans in attendance.

OK fight

Posted by jetfox54 on December 11, 2011 at 06:27 PM

it was the night of the hockey game all throught the house every one was staring there was a bout parros was bitch slapin, mcgrattan air punchin, and down came the boos when the ref broke up the bout only the blind would say perros won this was a draw and no one won

Posted by mckendo83 on December 12, 2011 at 08:53 AM

I can't give a win to parros in this one, to beat the 'champ' you gotta win the fight, i actually see it as an for mcgrattan and maybe a draw. scoring it a draw.

Posted by scorp1on on December 11, 2011 at 08:02 AM

Defensive draw here but still give it a 7. The heavys can pull off these arms-length fights better than the middles. Buzzsaw McGrattan finally hits a knot in the wood.

Posted by b.t.wilson on December 10, 2011 at 09:45 PM

Decent scrap, nothing too punishing it seemed, but each got their share of licks in. Going draw, with a 'booo' to the linesman dangerously jumping in on McGrattan when he did. 6.

Two guys who are used to out reaching opponents, trade blows outside the power zone. I think McGratton thought they'd agreed to end it when Parros threw a late left....late, slow motion, off target left...

Posted by ironface on December 10, 2011 at 09:46 PM

Win...McGrattan's helmet with the most blows landed!!

Posted by Rbphoto1 on December 11, 2011 at 09:56 AM

great fight i enjoy watching both these men scrap, they remind me of old school hockey

Posted by Mark1967 on December 12, 2011 at 04:22 PM

If that helemet would of got out of the way who knows what would of happened! They will meet again.

Posted by Jellyczar on December 10, 2011 at 10:25 PM

really good fight ..... good punching from both...helmet got in McGrattans way... surprised that Parros did this weel with the way McGrattan has been dominating lately..DRAW

Posted by rocky 1 on January 05, 2012 at 10:06 PM

Good little scrap!George knows more about surviving these fights more than winning!Draw!

Draw and 2 very proud teams to actually say they dress a heavyweight . My team has gone from first to a gradual slide towards the bottom because they refuse to dress the blue collar guys and as a result the games are so boring I would rather watch figure skating .... good job boys

Posted by lunchpailAC on January 05, 2012 at 04:41 AM

the helmet gets in The Big Ern's way and he can't get much going with his right. Parros keeps him at bay and lands a few of his own for a decent draw. these guys will go again hopefully before the year is over.

Posted by Stevens Lindros on December 30, 2011 at 02:56 PM

Draw, Parros almost wins, great job by both guys.

Posted by nait on December 12, 2011 at 08:20 AM

mcgrattan wins on number of punches thrown only otherwise it was a crap fight

Posted by letsdance24 on December 11, 2011 at 10:06 AM

McGrattan the aggressor here

Posted by Blackbeard101 on December 13, 2011 at 11:13 PM

two minutes to Parros for holding!! Win to McGratten for wanting to fight more and being the aggressor. Parros just wanted to stay standing.

Posted by pinpin on December 11, 2011 at 12:30 AM

Parros does fine but Mcnasty with the slight edge!

Posted by PredsFan3 on December 11, 2011 at 06:40 AM

The only reason i give this one to McGrattan is cuz he landed more blows but close fight.

Posted by EDDUBBS on December 11, 2011 at 06:45 AM

McGrattan the aggressor and winner

Posted by dorian on December 10, 2011 at 09:34 PM

...expected McG to ring Parros's clock but George hung in there and landed some nice shots. Still have to give the win to Brian though.

Posted by sedinfan on December 11, 2011 at 01:28 AM

you always know you are going to be entertained when Grats fights

Posted by Double Nickels on December 13, 2011 at 03:05 PM

Parros found some balance! Nice go; good draw.

Posted by tonetone1 on December 11, 2011 at 03:55 AM

mcgrattan but its really close to a draw

Posted by FightsOfHockey on December 10, 2011 at 08:55 PM

good heavyweight bout. McGrattan landed a bit more and a bit better. Heavyweight fights are rare these days so its nice to see these two go at it.

Posted by Joceron on December 11, 2011 at 01:03 AM

Parros def found a good range, as did McGrattan, refs stepped in too quickly, unless called which I couldn't tell. Parros and 5.

Posted by Don Berry on December 11, 2011 at 10:44 AM

Musko, Not getting popped is number one in the fighting! Parros with the edge. McGratten is a big dude, a WWE style guy. Not sure what he is doing in the NHL though, no other types like him are around these days. Godard is gone, Steve Mac is gone, etc Parros is decent, not great player and can play a 4th line a few shifts a game.

Posted by Bosoxshute on December 11, 2011 at 04:06 PM

Why do these 2 teams even exist?

Posted by O-Gnimh on December 11, 2011 at 12:01 AM

This was not a draw. Just clear proof that Parros will never get respect on this site, even when he gets the better of the site-sweetheart-of-the-day. Have a spine guys. McGrattan's status isn't threatened by Parros. He just lost this once. Sometimes your superhero will take a loss. Don't cry. Jeez. Obvious Win Stache.

Posted by SirYohans on December 10, 2011 at 10:10 PM

Parros got him.

Posted by SOCALFAN on December 11, 2011 at 01:01 PM

McGrattan really punched Parros hard I bet George had to rub his sholder 3 or 4 seconds before it felt better. Complete domination by Parros.

Posted by bruiser11 on December 11, 2011 at 12:47 AM

Uh Oh! Parros was very smart in the fight and did quite well!

Posted by scooter231 on December 11, 2011 at 07:12 AM

I would give the slightest of edge to Parros on this one.

Posted by PHoward on December 11, 2011 at 10:46 AM

I'm a Preds fan and was at the game sitting near the ice. Parros won that one. He connected with a couple good shots on McGratton. McGratton really did not land anything. I will say this too. McGrattons face was looking a little rough by the end of the game. He took some pretty goods shots. Props to Parros for going with the guy noone wants to fight right now.

Posted by sulley71 on December 10, 2011 at 11:57 PM

Parros by a narrow margin in this tilt.

Posted by fernben8 on December 11, 2011 at 01:03 PM

I sensed Parros's game plan was to do a little rope a dope and wait till McGrattan tired himself out... Parros had a good grip preventing McGrattan from connecting with anything, Parros threw less but managed to get a few subtle ones in. Good thing for McGrattan the linesmen jumped in early as he started to show signs of low fuel. Edge to George.

Posted by Lucic_Power on December 11, 2011 at 12:34 AM

Parros with some Solid Head shots....Minimal damage by Gratz....Win Stache....He needs to throw bombs from a distance to win. I wonder if they have a pugilism school at Princeton?

Posted by TommyGun29 on December 11, 2011 at 08:29 AM

W for George, he caught Big Brian with a couple of decent "pillows" despite what the Dangler says.

Posted by mudman55 on December 11, 2011 at 06:24 AM

I have to give it to Parros...Very slight edge from what I see. I can certainly understand why some voted it as a Draw, I just feel that a couple of those rights from Parros did land, although they didn't really do any damage... Couple of professionals right here. Punching the clock and then going for a beer. Glad McGrats is back in the mix.

Posted by JayDel on December 10, 2011 at 11:14 PM

Parros use the jersey grip and long reach to pop BM with a few good ones. Not a blow-out but clear win for GP

Posted by Johnkordic31 on December 10, 2011 at 09:45 PM

Parros smells bad. Doesn't shower game day

Posted by Clark75 on December 11, 2011 at 04:45 PM

Parros landed more effective solid punches. Waited for his chances and took advantage. McGrattan was just throwing non stop not really connecting. Parros with a close win.

Posted by slshbleed on December 12, 2011 at 08:02 AM

Pretty even, but Parros was able to throw two shots where McG's head snaps back a little bit. Apparently, Parros's arms have grown longer since the last fight.

Posted by nixu on December 11, 2011 at 05:08 AM

This was clear win Parros. Very weird calls here ones again.

Posted by TheNatural on December 12, 2011 at 02:43 PM

@stacyb Glad you had some time to log on and watch it after roping your cattle

Posted by McDonald19 on December 10, 2011 at 10:43 PM

Good fight. Parros gets a little revenge after their last fight. McGrattan is a scary fighter, but I have to say that Parros landed the better shots in this one, capped off by the bloody McGrattan nose. Win Parros

Posted by laus3 on December 11, 2011 at 02:42 AM

McGrattan took a couple of nasty punches right to the melon! Definitely gave Parros the edge on this one. McGrattan may be a good fighter but often leaves himself exposed for a big blow and tonight he took some.

Posted by DARCY T on December 11, 2011 at 08:42 AM

more defensive style worked quite well for parros.mcgrattan was throwing right after right but it seemed like parros was out of his reach and parros was throwing and landing with good timing...edge parros and 7

Posted by mbassy on December 11, 2011 at 09:07 AM

mcgrattan keeps coming forward, but george tests his left cheekbone over and over again. mustache wins with technique over brute force.

Posted by mr hockey on December 11, 2011 at 08:46 PM

slight edge Parros ,good tilt by both pretty even slight edge for parros

Posted by HerbRaglan on December 10, 2011 at 11:18 PM

Parros DID win that one. He threw less punches but his landed and were better harder.

Posted by GreatMurray on December 11, 2011 at 07:29 AM

Two BIG boys. Parros with a slight edge. He landed a couple. Most of McGrattens were short.

Posted by totmacher on December 12, 2011 at 05:23 PM

Did they do an entire lap of the rink?

Posted by tyrone on December 11, 2011 at 07:17 PM

Big Mac is tougher, but Parros fights him smart and gets an ever-so-slight nod. Damn, I'd hate to get hit by MacDaddy.

Posted by jim_habs08 on September 27, 2013 at 06:57 PM

W Parros

Posted by Oil Can Henry on December 10, 2011 at 09:57 PM meaningful punches landed plus a lot of misses -- draw,....

Posted by FHgrad99 on December 11, 2011 at 01:53 AM

Pretty good fight, couldn't really see either guy getting the edge here. I'll call it a draw and a 6.

Posted by kkdowning on December 12, 2011 at 12:34 PM

Draw. Parros has been working on his balance and no doubt making sure he doesn't lose a retina.

Posted by Mounty in NC on April 03, 2012 at 09:48 AM

Good, close fight by two heavyweights

Posted by chad420 on December 12, 2011 at 12:31 PM

Good draw...Ron Jeremy giving Gratts his best test this season

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on December 12, 2011 at 01:49 AM

Big George does a lot better here and had a answer to McGrattan's bombs, going to give this one a draw, Linesman should have let them go a bit longer.

Posted by RangersSuck NJD on December 11, 2011 at 04:29 PM

If those dumbass linesmen didn't break it up we may of had a clear winner but anyway a great draw. both landed nice punches.

Posted by kitcarnut on December 11, 2011 at 01:40 AM

Big Mac gets the edge!

Posted by muskokadangler on December 11, 2011 at 06:18 AM

I said it before Parros knows how NOT to get smoked but that boy throws pillows and I'm really disappointed they didn't open up.....And Yes one huge and important point in fighting is NOT GETTING SMOKED :) He still sucks IMO He has courage but he ain't no TUFF GUY!!!!!!

Posted by bigdog2007 on December 11, 2011 at 07:47 AM

Pretty even damage done. McGrattan is always moving forward when he fights....doesnt back up

Posted by samtheman on December 11, 2011 at 10:51 AM

I can't believe how many votes for Parros in this one. From a completely objective point of view I think McGrattan won this one fairly easily. I will say that Parros did a lot better than expected which may explain some of the votes for him.

Posted by shane0mack on December 10, 2011 at 10:55 PM

Why does the Predator's color commentator sound like he's from Minnesota? They had to outsource the job? As for the fight, George is the only one landed any punches, but they were weak jabs. Would've liked to see better from these two.

Posted by mike hartman on December 12, 2011 at 09:38 AM

I think it would have been a better fight if that helmet didn't get in the way. Very slight Edge to parros. Mainly because of the moustache.

Posted by Snoka on December 10, 2011 at 11:39 PM

Parros landed the better shots

Posted by buzzgun2000 on December 11, 2011 at 01:12 AM

Snidely Whiplash gets his man but it wasn't easy.

Posted by snowave on December 11, 2011 at 02:54 PM

Parros with the decisive win, and drew a little nose blood. not that Parros threw bombs, but I'm not so sure they were pillows.. I think Grats is just able to absorb the fist better than some.
