which, in turn, negated the potential for the evolution
of a classic, wide-open, heavyweight tilt.

Fun fight to see live and in-person. The Garden was absolutely rocking during it.

Went back and forth with no major damage,
Gotta love the class of Thornton when the jersey was over Orr's head,

I'm a Bruins guy and a Thornton fan, but I didn't see a clear winner here....other than Orr's barber...

Orr didnt land a shot ,Thornton with the win I sure cant give it a 6 tho except i guess if you factor in the excitement of the 2 combatants

These 2 guy are Tough SOB's as a matter of fact I think 2 of the very toughest and neither is even big for a heavyweight...Nice to see Colton back scrappin and getting that first one over with....No connection here of face on ice...Yes Parros throws Pillows :) and did not knock him out with A PUNCH

Draw. Problem with these heavyweights is they have such a death grip on the other guy's jersey (can't fault that, thats for sure), rarely do they get to really unload. 6.

Thornton is such a smart technical fighter now. He used the same method he did against Boogaard last year. He knows Orr isn't the type of guy he should trade shots with so he grapples and ties up Orr's right arm and picks his spots to sneak a few good shots in. Win Thornton in a so so bout. Smart move. Thornton is tougher than most but not all, but he's smarter than the rest!

How about Jack Edwards finally calling a fight and not making me want to kill him in the first 20 seconds.

Huge move by Thorny to drop em with Orr...edge Thornton....A sweet win for the Bs and their fans...thanks boys

Smart strategy by Thornton, not to try and trade with Orr, and to tie him up and land better shots. Orr wasn't able to get off and took a few more from Thornton, who took the win. This fight, as usual, was able to rally the Bruins to come back and dominate the game. Thornton's role on the team can't be underestimated.

After the grappling comes... the jersey over the head... dammit! 4 and edge Thorton.
