Cam Janssen vs Trevor Gillies

Somehow I see Cam and his two-way contract opening up the season in the AHL. As for Mr. Gillies, he showed his usual class with the sucker punch at the end.

I don't know, but I have the feeling that Janssen is yelling," let us go, let us go". So Gillies hears him yelling at the linesman and proceeded according to Janssen's wishes. Also, lets say it was a cheap shot. If cheap shot in hockey but are willing to fight the guy again on the level, it absolves the cheap shot to some degree. Gillies gave Janssen a chance to get some payback in the second fight. That's the way it should work.

Great fighters but I can't stand either of them. Calling it a draw. One dummy with a relatively accidental late punch on another dummy. Weird. But what do you expect from two dummies? Two dummies does not equal a smart.

Janssen threw a punch when they were on the ice and they both sprung up ready to keep fighting. Linesmen jumped in, though understandably, too early. I would say "cheap shots" were equal. Obvious early edge to Gillies.
