Remember when you could take Carcillo semi-seriously as a fighter?

Yeah, me neither.

Carcillo chased him across two lines before the bout ensued, then Weise wins it on points. Weise must have been ticked off that his goal earlier in the period was disallowed.

Edge to Weiss for sure in a very average fight.

Haven't seen Carcillo in a while...probably a little rusty.
Carcillo landed more rights but Weise connected more with jersey jabs.
Going with a Draw.

Yea, nothing landed except about 3 of Weise's rights and several sweater punches. I think Carcillo landed one. So of course it's a Philadelphia draw.

weise with the win in this annoying fight. the jersey jab is obviously effective, as quite nearly every fighter does it, but it makes me angry to watch it. i hate it. i'd rather them not drop the mitts at all if that is how they are going to go about it. weise and a 2.

I gotta go with edge Weise. He popped Carcillo at the beginning and Carcillo seemed to never get it going after that.

Win Weise

Not very exciting. Weise has kind of a hybrid jersey grab & jab stance - he faces Carcillo a bit more here and looks a bit more like he wouldn't mind a real fight rather than wait for the perfect moment. The end result is still boring. Carcillo gets edged... of course the score takes the sting of not having a contender on the team bearable.

Carcillo thought he'd have another easy go with someone but didn't realize Weise isn't a Gaborik kind of guy and paid for it.

Carcillo thought he hand an easy target of a rookie. He was wrong, Weise with the W.

Nice bout for the kid.

Figures the chump Carcillo wouldn't dance with Avery, but doesn't have a problem with a rookie.

I guess Gaborik wasn't on the ice...lol

Carcillo got owned. Have the Flyers won a fight this year?
