Weise, finally manages to look
a little more ''Barry Wilkins-ish'',
in his ...ahem...''fighting technique'',
as opposed to performing his usual...
''Bobby Lalonde'' impersonation.

For those of you familiar with obscure Canuck references.

Foligno masters the Human Punching Bag, who in pre-season as a Ranger turned Zac Rinaldo into George Foreman.

Foligno laid on a couple of heavy hits and had a target on his back throughout the game.

My Canucks keep up ther almost perfect record of losing fights. When we will ever get someone to protect the good players??

Did the Canucks ever think they would miss Tanner Glass? Win Foligno, the Canucks may have the worst fight record in the league.

Both threw a lot of punches but I felt Foligno landed the better ones.
Best showing by Foligno thus far.
Props to Weise too.

Wow, Lou Ferrigno plays hockey too. They should have known something was up when the guy started turning green.

The Canucks look as tough as my Flyers in this one... that is to say ... not very tough.

I'm not sure that's what Weise was expecting. Sometimes payback's not a bitch.

I have to echo sedinfan's comment: The Vancouver Canucks need to bring in a heavy because its embarassing to watch their good players get pushed around and no one to stand up for them with any kind of intimidation. Eric Godard says hello!

That was a spirited fight. Foligno connected with some pretty hard shots. Weise stood in there and kept going after taking them. Foligno gets the win and I gave this one a 7. Very offensive-oriented scrap here.
