Tale of the Tape according to our friends at Puckpedia.com:
Ross Johnston of the New York Islanders
6'5" -- 236lbs
Micheal Haley of the New York Rangers
5'11" -- 205lbs
The fight breakdown
Standing at the face-off dot, both Ross Johnston and Michael Haley are seen jawing back and forth. Haley goes to take off the gloves prior to the puck drop but both do end up waiting until the puck is officially dropped (This is the key for the fight that happened after this ( Brendan Smith (NYR) vs. Matt Martin (NYI)))
Haley grabs the six inch taller Johnston by the shoulders and Johnston proceeds to pound on the back of Haley's helmet, throwing (by our count) 23 unanswered punches at Haley. Haley finally gets his left loose and throws a couple at Johnston's head. Johnston throws another before Haley tries to get the jersey up on the big man as the linesmen step in.
