Lapdance gets beat up AGAIN!!!! Way to disappoint every Flyer fan ever!!!!!!! I could make fun of the absurdity of Ian's fight's, but what's the point?!?!?!!?

Posted by SABREHATRED on November 12, 2009 at 11:24 PM

I wish laperriere was on buffalo so I could hate him more...... W Carkner

Decent fight, win Carkner. Champxx is an idiot.

Posted by shrk33 on November 13, 2009 at 02:26 PM

Carkner wins this fight over Lappy.

Posted by youthattack on November 13, 2009 at 10:36 AM

the flyers have great middleweights, but no heavyweight to go with guys like carkner. is cote ever going to play this season?

Posted by Gunslinger on November 13, 2009 at 08:14 AM

Gotta give credit where credit is due. Carkner is doing much better than I ever thought he would. Win over Lappy.

Posted by Spanky_Jazz on November 13, 2009 at 03:40 AM

I'm a big Lappy fan, but he was no match for the bigger Carkner in this one.

Posted by Juha82 on November 13, 2009 at 08:38 AM

hah no dom by Carkner he failed to land anything good at the end bec in those short punches wasn't much a power. still eDGE Carkner

Posted by hkhk on November 12, 2009 at 10:32 PM

lappy please stop ur embarrising the orange and black ,holmgren please bring a heavy in..

Posted by BooSanta on November 16, 2009 at 08:23 PM

Again Lapdawg fighting out of his weight class. He tries to trade punch for punch this was the best part of the fight. Cark simply out pounded Lap and landed the heavier shots. Clear win for Carkner here.

Posted by Dave Brown HOF on November 16, 2009 at 01:33 AM

Edge to Carkner in this one. I know that Carkner has a huge rep for being a spot picker but that was not the case here as Lapperiere was looking for it.

Posted by tattooedkingpin on November 13, 2009 at 12:01 PM

I love to see Lappy lose. W Carkner

Posted by moneybags on November 13, 2009 at 03:12 AM

lappy always shows up..and always loses..flyers are starting to look pretty bad in the brawl dept.

Posted by bruiser11 on November 12, 2009 at 11:45 PM

lappy is game but carkner smacked him around a little here. I think mcb789 was that little kid with the flyers jersey on last years nHL network christmas AD....mcb got some dress socks there

Posted by adambomb13 on November 13, 2009 at 09:46 AM

Lappy got whooped, that's a good thing. Yappy Lappy. Carkners pretty damn tough, no doubt. Wondering if he'll have a smile on his face after a bought with Orr, Godard, McGratton or a legit heavyweight. the flyers continue to win every fight this season... f*ck you mcb. On the day you were born, your mother wanted a girl and your father wanted a boy and they were both happy.

Posted by msaw1125 on November 13, 2009 at 06:17 PM

Laperriere is no match for Carkner, who is too big for Ian. I must say the kid Carkner has been very impressive this season.

Posted by JonMirasty on November 13, 2009 at 03:33 PM

looks like laperriere wants to stop the fight , carkner all the way

Posted by Clark75 on November 14, 2009 at 11:49 AM

Win Carkner. You only beat Laperriere. Beat a legit Heavy Weight then you can cheese it up, but for now you'd better prepare yourself for Tuesday night when Colton Orr kicks your a$$!

Posted by Behn Wilson on November 13, 2009 at 11:46 AM

Passing the torch...the new generation shows how nasty is more a young mans game.

Posted by tyrone on November 12, 2009 at 11:30 PM

Closer than all say, but Carkner gets the win. BTW..........mcb789 u suk!

Posted by billy jack on November 12, 2009 at 10:38 PM

carky dominated,he was in the drivers seat the whole way.why doesnt philly pick up smackyntyre, lappys not even a good middleweight.hes game but no match.

Posted by smwarpig63 on November 26, 2009 at 10:41 AM

rockemsockem at first, but edge to carkner

Posted by staceyb on November 13, 2009 at 06:13 AM

Both players were laughing with each other (or at each other) in the penalty box afterward. Lappy has heart and guts but he was no match for the oversized Carkner. Nonetheless the Flyers opened it up not too soon afterward and dominated the Sens in the second half of the game, 5-1. Call it a moral victory for Lappy.

Posted by gmann14 on November 13, 2009 at 12:04 PM

Carkner easy win ,Laperriere was looking for him and bit off more than he could chew.Leafs suck!!!

Posted by Rockhound6165 on November 14, 2009 at 10:54 PM

Carkner definitely got the better in this fight. But Laperriere got some good shots in at the start.

Posted by iratebob on November 13, 2009 at 09:14 AM

I'll take Laperriere on my team anyday. Carkner with an easy win. No damage done.

Posted by mikebflorida on November 13, 2009 at 10:55 AM

Lappy is brave as hell. Carkner is just to big and mean for him but Ian makes a good showing of it. I don't know if those were Philly or Ottawa announcers but they made it sound like Ian got creamed. He took a few good ones but gave a few as well. Like others have said, the Flyers should have a heavyweight to deal with the East Beasts like Orr, Godard, BGL, Carkner, and Brashear and sorry boys and girls, it's not Riley Cote.

Posted by Truk on November 12, 2009 at 11:08 PM

Oh stop your smiling Carkner. How's it feel to take a few from a little guy? Win Carkner. Lappy's still not a bad contender.

Posted by k2412 on November 12, 2009 at 08:45 PM

Laperriere did a good job fighting a bigger man but the end results show on his face. Win for Carkner

Posted by jeffcool469 on November 12, 2009 at 10:28 PM

Posted by bruiseyoureye on November 12, 2009 at 10:50 PM

carkner put an ass whoopin on the cowardly flyer.

Posted by millerdvr on November 12, 2009 at 10:31 PM

Lappy dominates another LAME apponent in this lopsided bout, CLEAR WIN FOR IAN!

Posted by samtheman on November 13, 2009 at 08:41 AM

Laperriere is always willing to go but just isn't a very good fighter. He shouldn't drop with the heavyweights.

Posted by piney on November 13, 2009 at 05:51 AM

carkner win. Lappy needs to get into the weight room

Posted by azjim on November 14, 2009 at 12:34 AM

Carkner with the win.

Posted by Oil Can Henry on November 13, 2009 at 01:45 PM

( W ) Carkner,....Laperriere didn't do anything.

Posted by Chill on November 13, 2009 at 12:29 PM

Those bully cheap shot Flyer punks picking on a bigger player. They should be just thrown out of the league.

Posted by PitbullX on November 13, 2009 at 02:20 AM

Can't Laps find a little Euro to fight, he might win one then. Another Flyer loss!

Posted by pistole pete on November 20, 2009 at 09:26 PM

lappy has the heart of a lion and pound for pound is right up there with the best, but he isn't a real heavyweight.

Posted by chad420 on November 14, 2009 at 07:24 PM

win carkner

WIN CARKNER

Posted by muskokadangler on November 13, 2009 at 02:37 PM

I am thinking carkner is a Legit!!!! There should be a rule that after talking bullshit to a certain point these guys should be banned from a good site like this............Bullshit being calling a win in a fight that is not even close . mcb Do you enjoy not having an ounce of credibility in your opinions!!!!!! Your a LOSER!!!!!!

Posted by PuckmaninMN on November 13, 2009 at 08:04 AM

Lappy must've thought he was 9 feet tall by starting that one. Carkner OWNED him and Lappy went to the box and felt shame. It didn't look like Carkner even broke a sweat.

Posted by Richterfan on November 13, 2009 at 03:04 PM

Pretty decent fight here. Carkner wins but I give Lappy credit for stepping up a weight class and actually attempting to throw punches. These are the type of fights sorely lacking these days. Both guys were willing to take a few to dish out a few. Lappy tried to stay on the inside and it worked somewhat well. Carkner just too big and strong for him.

Posted by bigdog2007 on November 13, 2009 at 01:15 PM

Leafs Suck. Carker with the easy win. Lappy is a fairly tough dude.Stood in there.
