draw.i feel sorry for ian everytime i see him fighting

The Zeiler boy is not in the NHL to be a fighter. He is an energy player who does that job extremely well. He will not back down from anybody though. There are quite a few number of teams in the league who could use Zeiler to get their team going. He does his short shifts, bangs, and gets off the ice.

Homer announcer. Nothing but a draw.

Zeiler starts strong, but Lap. comes back at the end, Draw

Lappy gets retrobution on Zeiler and wins this fight.handily. I give credit to Zeiler for standing up and fighting though.

If Cooke had handled Moore like this a few years back, the Bertuzzi incident would never have happened. All's done here, message sent, Lappy wins, now let's play hockey!

All you Canuck morons that think the hit on Footer was clean are pretty funny. You all probably thought Steve Moore's hit on Naslund was dirty. Wrong again. I was there and saw it coming. Only slight difference was Naslund had his head down but got hit from the front, Foote had his back turned...... Guarantee you when Foote comes back, Zeiler (if he still has a roster spot) will be toast only Footer doesn't need to be dirty to take care of Zeiler. Gotta love Lappy mopping up this puke. Way to go Lappy!!!

Go Lappy Go.....he seemed to tire rather quickly I was hoping for more of a beat down.......

Lappy with the easy win. Get flashbacks to the McCarty/Lemieux fight the first time they met after the brawl.

Posted by staceyb on December 10, 2008 at 09:54 AM

Lappy got voted third star of the game. He smacked Zeiler a good one for retribution but Zeiler had the juevos to take the beating. At least his neck wasn't broken.

Lappy with ease.

Posted by shane0mack on December 10, 2008 at 12:43 AM

props to zeiler for answering the bell. lappy threw alot more punches, but most hit nothing but air. Zeiler got a couple in there too, but probably a slight edge to lappy.

Lap wins, but it wasn't that dominant. and CO fans .. get over the hit.. it was clean

Posted by quetico on December 10, 2008 at 12:22 AM

Zeiler had to know that was coming after the Foote hit.

i thought the fight would be boring but it turned out pretty good.ian gets the win.

Posted by BSTnougat on December 10, 2008 at 07:02 PM

Thought this was a good fight. Not a big Laperriere fan so i was wishing the Zeiler kid would have gotten his helmet off. Wouuld have been a draw if he had. Unfortunately, win frenchy.

Posted by BsFAn4LIF on December 10, 2008 at 01:52 PM

good bout. Kind of close in the begining then Laperriere gets the edge with those rights he unloaded in the end.

Posted by blackgoldfan on December 10, 2008 at 08:09 PM

to bad lappy did't mop him up. but he still got a w.

Posted by nighthawk walt on December 10, 2008 at 07:54 PM

zeiler had a couple of good punches in the middle of the fight.but, lapierre dominated the beginning and end for the lopsided decision.

Posted by FlyerPhanatic on December 10, 2008 at 01:56 AM

Got to love Laperriere gettin him back for the hit on Foote

Posted by ShuterMcGav on December 10, 2008 at 01:42 PM

Lappy gets the W But I gotta give some props to Zeiler for standing up to Lappy. A lot of guys would of avoided it and then turtled when the enevitable came to task.

What a scrap. Thought it was gonna be crap but I was way wrong. WIN goes to Laperrire

Posted by tiburon4 on December 10, 2008 at 07:53 PM

Lapierre landed more punches, especially uppercuts: Ian wins this bout.

Posted by slshbleed on December 10, 2008 at 08:41 AM

Zeiler can take a punch.

Posted by mmditty89 on December 17, 2008 at 01:39 PM

i love laperriere he should go back to the kings

Posted by bigd071 on December 10, 2008 at 11:57 AM

Clear Lappy win. Props to Zeiler for answering the bell after his hit on Foote a few weeks back. As soon as Zeiler was dressed for this game you knew something would happen. Lappy clearly has more fighting experience but Zeiler's a tough guy, so I figured it wouldn't be too lopsided and Zeiler hung in there.

Posted by tim daddy on December 12, 2008 at 01:37 PM

decent fight, flatnose with the win

Posted by ling2212 on December 10, 2008 at 08:15 AM

Laperriere won this no question. Zeiler knew it was coming and did not back down.
