Good fight , i'dd give the slight edge to McGraton ,UNTILL the rematch !!!.. ONE QUESTION FOR THE FLAMES FANS , how many stanley cups has calgary won ??? AND HOW MANY HAS THE OILERS WON ! .. I REST MY CASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!............

Posted by Thunderfan32 on October 25, 2009 at 11:46 AM

Good scrap. McGrattan won the first half, and Diesel the second.

Posted by Humper on October 25, 2009 at 08:05 AM

Good fight. Looked like it would be all McGrattan, but a nice comeback by MacIntyre to even things up. Go to be a draw.

Posted by mashya on October 24, 2009 at 11:38 PM

mcgrattan lands the heaviest punches but macintyre got more in especially at the end, draw mcb, bostonrs= same goof

Posted by omorales on October 25, 2009 at 12:48 AM

great fight,back and forth, draw...

Posted by danman51 on October 25, 2009 at 12:03 AM

MacIntyre should have been down...my mistake in my last post...he had an amazing comeback!

Posted by Dave Brown HOF on October 26, 2009 at 12:22 AM

Now that's what I call an even heavyweight tilt. Looking forward to the next time these two play again, if they can stay in the NHL long enough. Oh well, even if/when they can't, I'm sure that I would still get to see the fight on here in the AHL threads. Draw!

Posted by rugby on October 25, 2009 at 01:05 AM

Nice job boys. Definitely some big punches thrown and McGrattan slowed down, but announcer says he was at the end of his shift. I think Mac throws better from the left, but since the cheekbone last year seems hesitant to trade with the righties from that side and be fully exposed? Now having heard all the Laraque talk over the past years - how come these two big men can square up and go toe 2 toe, but GL goes spinning in circles all the time?

Posted by Baumgard on November 07, 2009 at 03:59 PM

It was great fight!

McGrattan wins the first half, MacIntyre wins the second half, a classic draw and great fight

McGrattan started whoopin on Maclntyre early, but Maclntyre came back at the end. Great fight!!! draw

Posted by Togalthorpe on October 25, 2009 at 07:22 PM

Great tilt by the 2 heavies. Edge to McGrattan in the beginning, but Big Mac ended strong so I call it a draw

Posted by drop_the_gloves on October 25, 2009 at 08:42 AM

McGrattan seemed to have an early edge, but MacIntyre is one tough dude. He took all McGrats could give, then handed out some of his own punishment that seemed to stun McGrattan. I called it a draw.

Posted by tattooedkingpin on October 25, 2009 at 12:25 PM

Great fight. I think Mac did enough at the end to make this one a Draw

Posted by huskie on October 26, 2009 at 09:07 AM

very good

Posted by Gruvn on October 24, 2009 at 11:31 PM

Excellent back and forth scrap. Mac didn't look too good in the early going but came back strong. Draw.

Posted by Bullybeatdown on October 25, 2009 at 02:06 AM

I don't know about this one, i like to favor the guy that finishes strong at the end.

Posted by KornyKev on November 05, 2009 at 12:31 AM

I like seeing body blows. Great fight both got their licks in so draw.

McGrattan early, Mac later. Great fight. Draw.

Posted by Bruins29 on October 25, 2009 at 03:22 PM

Awesome fight between two huge dudes. Draw.

Posted by aces50 on October 27, 2009 at 08:33 AM

Do you know how to say fight of the year? There were some bombs thrown and both were standing at the end. Kudos to both of these guys. This fight is the best so far this year.

Posted by bigdude on October 26, 2009 at 03:05 PM

Awesome fight. Lots of punches

Posted by Sasky001 on October 25, 2009 at 09:32 AM

Draw. Has McIntyre ever won against a heavyweight. Nope.

Posted by woosh on October 25, 2009 at 06:54 PM

what one would expect from two true heavy weights, McGrattan landed early but Macintyre was able to absorb his punches and began to land his own hay makers towards the end. excellent fight

Posted by TML-Mike on October 24, 2009 at 11:49 PM

Amazing fight. Really great stuff. Not only was it long, but alot landed. Draw though.

Posted by GWL on October 25, 2009 at 12:02 AM

Great fight for two big guys McGrattan with stronger performance

Posted by zdrok on October 27, 2009 at 06:45 PM

McGratton, won but what's with the prep work Brian? Does he really need to squat and bend-over before each fight or can he stand in there with his fists up and throw some punches?

Posted by bostonrs555 on October 24, 2009 at 11:18 PM

McGrattan beats on Steve-O..... MacIntyre's face will look like a hammered turd by the end of his career at this pace......

Posted by 99greatestever on October 26, 2009 at 11:58 PM

MacIntyre doesn't fight great for a big man, though he held his own not too bad. McGrattan wins a close one.

Wow! What a fight! It changes to see McGrattan to get good fights!

Posted by hal29 on October 25, 2009 at 02:09 PM

not that much of a domination of a fight, closer then it was rated, win goes to mcgrattan.i gave this a 7,there was still allot of holding going on

Posted by lefthook25 on October 24, 2009 at 11:45 PM

Some decent punches by both of them with the edge to Mcgrattan

Posted by pepsigenerate on October 27, 2009 at 10:13 AM

McGrattan wins by a margin in this bout with the more effective punches then MacIntyre.

Posted by SABREHATRED on October 25, 2009 at 11:05 AM

McGrattan leaves a reminder on Mac's forehead.... You don't go to Thunder Bay with stitches and you don't fight McGrattan if you've had your face cracked in half.... W to Brian McG

Posted by OhMan on October 26, 2009 at 11:43 AM

Good scrap. MacIntyre took some good shots early but showed good staying power coming on at the end...

Posted by wey102 on October 24, 2014 at 01:04 PM

MacIntyre tried to come back at the end, but it wasn't enough to give him the win. Not after that stunner McGrattan landed.

Posted by lovejoy on October 26, 2009 at 03:16 AM

great, hard, long exhausting fight. MacIntyre's face says all. W for McGrattan.

Posted by rpw1 on October 25, 2009 at 12:32 PM

Good tilt, McGrattan with win. Check MacIntyre's face after.

Posted by Riomouse911 on October 26, 2009 at 05:15 PM

Mac is so lucky Mc's arms are about 2" too short, he would've been searching for his teeth. Mc was surgical in the early part, then tired out and Mac gave it a go. 10-8 Mc.

Posted by tyrone on October 24, 2009 at 11:54 PM

Announcers suck donkey dick. Off the canvass? WTF. Win McGrattan but closer than the "jack Edwards" announcer thinks. [email protected]!

Posted by Dampland on October 26, 2009 at 09:12 PM

Very good tilt!!

Posted by rwlsn on October 25, 2009 at 01:51 PM

The real deal

Posted by yeahbaby on October 26, 2009 at 01:52 PM

McGratton with the win. He cut Mac and wobbled him. Though he recovered, nothing Mac threw came close to hurting Brian.

Posted by Luque1 on October 25, 2009 at 04:57 PM

Both looks very strong, two fighters from the top one´s, but still step behind Vit Klitschko :-) I looks like Draw, but Steve with a cut on his brow, sou very close for Brian.

Posted by bruiser11 on October 26, 2009 at 04:03 PM

see, now I like how these 2 want to stand in there for a long while and try and throw big ones...Now laraque throws big but then he goes 4 the takedown early..that's why I like these 2 better.

Posted by gdames51 on October 29, 2009 at 05:46 PM

McGrattan fed McIntyre a steady diet of knuckles early with at least 5, maybe 6 good connects. McIntyre came back briefly with one or two good shots shot and some momentum before McGrattan got his second wind about the time the refs intervened.

Posted by Towmater on October 25, 2009 at 02:28 AM

McG with the win. Landed more head shots and cut MacIntyre. Damn good scrap.

Posted by followthecode on October 25, 2009 at 12:58 AM

Great fight, MacIntyre's got an iron jaw, but can't give a draw just because he stayed on his skates. Edge McGrattan.

Posted by kimo_coyote on October 25, 2009 at 04:00 PM

Any edge McGratton. Good bout Period.

Posted by matlc on October 27, 2009 at 09:54 PM

McGrattan reach his opponent more times and cut MacIntyre!! Good fight, but should have been better without hanging their shirts so hard!

Posted by childplease on October 24, 2009 at 11:56 PM

Great fight. Loved it!! Both guys fought well, but the slight edge went to Mcgratten

Posted by slapshot12 on October 28, 2009 at 09:42 AM

Posted by shrk33 on October 27, 2009 at 02:52 PM

Wow, heck of a fight! McGratton gets the edge in a very spirited bout.

Posted by forsberg21 on October 25, 2009 at 03:52 PM

Oh man what a fight. If i had to call a winner, it's McGrattan cause he did land a little more. But this is the kind of fight that pointing out a winner is moot, that was great!

Posted by Oliwa 29 on October 25, 2009 at 03:01 PM

Both risked getting KO'd with every soup-bone they threw for two minutes straight. No spinning! No clutching! All Entertaining! Ever so slight edge to McGratton as it seemed McIntyre was a slug-away from Wobbly Street but having had said that Steve took the end of the fight. Two thumbs up to a couple of future top 5 heavy weights.

Posted by jkluhr on October 26, 2009 at 04:12 PM

Great Fight but McGrattan lands the much better punches for the win. How did MacIntyre stay up after those bombs from Gratts, these guys are tough.

Posted by sparkynce on October 25, 2009 at 11:46 AM

McGrattan with the edge, great fight and props to Macintyre for the comeback at the end to make it close.

Posted by teejay on October 29, 2009 at 07:04 PM

not a bad bout from two big boys. McGrattan with better shots landed, and the left big Mac with the gash.

Posted by brad houghton on October 26, 2009 at 08:14 AM

wow that was a nice fight.....you have to hand it to MacIntyre for not bailing on the fight....McGrattan was teeing off on him early but as the annoucers said he got up off the canvas and aquitted himself well....he savaged his pride late and probably gained a measure of confidence heading into their next meeting McGrattan gets a nice win and i am guessing these guys will see each other allot this year

Posted by Ripper20 on October 27, 2009 at 02:31 PM

Great fight. You gotta love guys that can take a few shots and keep throwing bombs. McGratton gets the win because of the early damage and visible battle wounds to Mac's face. However, Big Mac wins the late rounds and possibly wins the fight if he could have prolonged the fight another round or two.

Posted by blbjd on October 25, 2009 at 10:23 AM

McGrattan with the win, Macintyre was great, best fight of the night in the NHL

Posted by billy jack on October 26, 2009 at 04:39 PM

great scrap, hate to pick a winner amongst my brothers.

Posted by mikebflorida on October 25, 2009 at 03:17 AM

It doesn't get much better than that. Much better than watching fatty Booger. I give it to Mcgrattan but wouldn't argue with a draw vote. He landed some wicked bombs. Mac is so big, no one is going to knock him down or out. Great, great super HW fight.

Posted by Bob Shubop on October 25, 2009 at 12:43 AM

Great fight. Clear decision to McGratton but MacIntyre came back well.

Posted by Killah_punk on October 25, 2009 at 10:37 AM

McGrattan Three vicious blows. WOW

Posted by PAYDAY on October 25, 2009 at 10:10 AM

Draw? Did you see MacIntyre's face after? McGrattan landed more meaningful shots. One hell of a fight. Edge McGrattan.

Posted by nor.stewart on October 25, 2009 at 04:52 AM

Wow, McGrattan hits. Some of his shots crinkle the screen , way back in Dundee. You are Scotlands team, you are the C of red.

Posted by BooSanta on October 25, 2009 at 09:14 PM

Very close but give it to Grats. He was caught on the end of shift and still chucked 5 sensational rights that would knock just about anybody else out, but MacIntyre keeps going. Mac wanted this one bad and will certainly want a rematch. He landed more, but Grats landed the much better here and got some ketchup for his hamburger.

Posted by garyrissling on December 06, 2009 at 11:36 PM

good go.

Posted by Bigford83 on October 25, 2009 at 08:50 PM

Early contender for FOTY...McG hasn't looked this good in a while. ..great battle, looking forward to the rivalry between these two that should play out as the season progresses.

Posted by basil73 on October 25, 2009 at 09:42 AM

Two thumbs up! What a battle... Slight edge to the Flame...

Posted by jlmcgui on October 26, 2009 at 08:09 PM

Total domination by McGratton; can't believe the consecutive blows to MacIntyre's head ... and he didn't go down. Not every day you lose a fight like that and get a great rating ... good scrap!

Posted by staceyb on October 25, 2009 at 08:05 PM

Terrific bout--how on earth did MacIntyre hang in there after Gratz smacked him with multiple solid rights? Then he came back and tagged McGrattan with several of his own.

Posted by woodape on October 24, 2009 at 11:53 PM

McGrattan is back. Great fight. McGrattan is going to have a great year (stay off the booze). He looks motivated. I think he can take his place amongst top 5 fighters in the NHL. Good for him.

Posted by Big Little Tank on October 26, 2009 at 05:54 PM

Great fight, with slight edge to McGratton on punches. Of course, the game being called on HNIC, we get some Canuck announcers whom have knowledge of how to call a great donneybrook! (Unlike some on FSN) Welcome to Canada, boys and girls. ; )

Posted by digitalroc on October 25, 2009 at 12:57 PM

Great fight indeed. Decision to McGrattan after MacIntyre had to eat all of McGratten's rights. Looked like McGratten was at the tail end of his shift for the start of that fight and MacIntyre was cut at the end, McGratten gets the W.

Posted by bunkerman on October 25, 2009 at 07:53 PM

great go both guys should be proud of the effort

Posted by Kaderson on October 25, 2009 at 08:16 PM

In m opinion McGrattan is top 3 fighters the NHL, Fantastic fight. McGrattan was at the end of his sift and still dropped the gloves. Close great fight. I was hoping that Gratts got his hands on Huggy Bear Stortini but McIntyre stepped up.

Posted by Davids on October 25, 2009 at 10:21 AM

Brian McGrattan gets the win in a very close, great super heavy bout. Steve MacIntyre, another top notch enforcer who the Boston Bruins let get away.First it was Colton Orr,then MacIntyre Big Mac played in Providence 3 years ago and destroyed everyone he fought.I thought we finally had an up and coming enforcer, but they just let him walk, like they do with every potential enforcer. We havent had a major league enforcer here since Ken Belanger left. It's tough bein a Bruins fan when you love the tough stuff.

Great fight, McGratton is one of the best right now. Heck of a job by Stevie Mac though.

Posted by zonahockeyfan on October 25, 2009 at 07:53 PM

mcgoon win

Posted by TheSPOILERS on October 25, 2009 at 02:57 AM

That was a wicked scrap, had to see it coming... Macintyre definetely came on at the end. But not enough for the Win. Win McGratton.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on February 12, 2013 at 08:41 PM

MacIntyre is one tough son of a bitch. Anyone that takes a beating like he did from McGrattan and keeps fighting deserves respect. Still, the fight goes to McGrats as he just pounded MacIntyres head bloody.

Posted by captainmook on April 30, 2013 at 06:53 AM

Love both these guys, both are beasts -- glad to see Mcgrattan back in Calgary this season, hope Macintyre gets back up soon with Pittsburgh or some post season play to keep other teams honest. Edge Mcgrattan

Posted by ToughGuyWayne on October 27, 2009 at 05:29 AM

Great heavyweight fight. No quit in either of these big boys. McGrattan gets the win, but nice to see Big Mac come back and keep throwing the bombs. Love it.

Posted by kurtenbach on October 25, 2009 at 07:44 AM

McIntyre is a monster like the Boogieman. McGrattan was the underdog and with his style (open and throwin') he ran the risk of getting TKO'd but surprisingly slightly edged the monster. Wow!

Posted by kryon24 on October 25, 2009 at 07:31 AM

That's the way it's suppose to be done, old school. Very close as McGratts early and Big Mac later. Give it to McGratts based on the punches he was throwing and connecting with bad intentions. Very slight win as Mac landed a couple solid lefts later that would crumple the huggers. I think this was definately FOTY candidate (so far).

Posted by cuptonj on October 26, 2009 at 04:31 PM

An early favorite for fight of the year .2 big boys that throw and take a big time punch.I'll give McGratton the edge because of the 5 straight hard rights .

Posted by SCOTTSO on October 25, 2009 at 12:52 AM

Awesome clash of Titans .. slightest of edge to McGrattan

Posted by Mouseman on October 25, 2009 at 03:41 PM

How about giving the linesman credit for letting the fight continue!

Posted by Uncle Paulie on October 25, 2009 at 09:26 AM

Not as close as some think.... McGrattan dominated him until he punched himself out.... exhausted, and the end of the shift. Then he just held MacIntyre off until he was clear to go to the box. Clear win for McGrattan.

Posted by preciselyfun on October 25, 2009 at 01:42 AM

Posted by SUTHED on October 25, 2009 at 02:13 PM

Bombs away! Nice scrap. Close but edge to Gratts for depositing a nasty lump on MacIntyre's forehead. Would pay to see Gratts fights Stortini, would shut that retard up.

Posted by GrrrHockey.com on October 28, 2009 at 10:12 AM

Vintage McGrattan! :-) That´s the McGrattan we wanna see, wow! I think McGrattan was surprised MacIntyre wanted to continue and that got MacIntyre the chance of a comeback in the fight, but clearly this was a win for McGrattan! Fight of the year? At least so far? :-)

Posted by adambomb13 on October 25, 2009 at 10:34 AM

Fight of the year so far. How MacIntyre survived those bombs is amazing, even more amazing was his second half comeback. Steve was really throwing em' when McGratts was out of gas. Old school stand back and throw. No wrestling or spin o rama stuff. Very happy for McGratts and his recovery and shaking off those demons. I had that drinking problem and shook it off 27 years ago. It ain't easy !!

Posted by spatter9 on November 01, 2009 at 09:09 AM

Now THIS is an NHL fight. Both guys stood and threw. No takedowns. No grabbing a guys pants like Steve Downie does. No BS. However, the problem with NHL fights is that the linesman get it too slowly. Guys get hurt because the linesman let fights go too long or some weasel goes for a takedown.

Posted by CaptainIggy on October 25, 2009 at 03:20 AM

McIntyre's face tells the story. McGratten used him as Oiler punching bag. McGratten was unfazed not a scratch. Stortini stayed clear of McGratten all night after seeing McIntyre get messed up. Which should be a suprise to no-one. McGratten is sending a message to the NW division loud and clear!

Posted by ThrowdownSJ408 on March 31, 2010 at 09:58 PM

Great fight.....fight of the year

Posted by The Mob on November 28, 2009 at 10:11 AM

Great fight! Mac relies on the long reach to get the upper edge but took some hard blows from Grats because he allowed him inside. Gotta give it to Mac though, he took everything Grats had to throw at him and came back and made a fight out of it. This is the sign of a fighter who is here to stay. I like it. !!!

Posted by millerdvr on October 26, 2009 at 12:31 AM

Big Mac all the way !!! Gratts didn't connect on any of his swings and Big Mac landed most of his to the face of Gratts !! you all must be blind cause there is no way gratts did anything in that fight but les Mac tenderise his face !!!!!

Posted by allienmort on October 27, 2009 at 03:43 PM

So, if 6'6" doesn't qualify as Sasquatch size, where is the cutoff? Some good head knocks.

Posted by joeye4 on October 25, 2009 at 04:24 PM

McGratton in the early stages was clearly winning but McIntyre staged an incredible comeback and won the fight.

Posted by BruinLeader on October 26, 2009 at 10:21 AM

If you're an Oiler, you're pretty happy to have MacIntyre on your team..what a chin. Real good go. I'm giving the win to MacIntyre for the hear tot come back from that early beating.

Posted by JMiller29 on December 12, 2009 at 11:18 AM

So many people influenced by a lost helmet and over-reacting announcers...factor in MacIntyre's body shots and straight rights that his reach allowed and he gets the W. He got turned around a couple times but he was in it for the long-run...McGrattan was hoping for a sprint and a ref intervention.

Posted by Truk on October 26, 2009 at 01:08 PM

Great fight! McGrattan was so gassed he had his tongue out panting on the way to the box. Big Steve cleaned him up at the end and he was hanging on for dear life. Edge to Steve for going 12 rounds rather than 6

Posted by rocky 1 on January 16, 2010 at 01:19 PM

Whoa! Quit a fight for two of the bigger heavyweights.Like both of these fighters cause they play by the rules no dirty stuff.Very close fight although it looked like Mcgrattan might end it in the middle with some big shots.Macintyre once he gets lose wins last part of fight.. Too close to call.Advice for Big Mac. Better get going quicker in fights or he,s going to keep getting stung. These big boys in the N>H>L> don,t make nice they will hurt you! I called it a draw though i would be ok with slight edge going to McGrattan. After watching again i would say that Mac intyre let McGrattan off as he seen he was tired>I think Mac could have really hurt him!For those who say Mcgrattan was at end of shift so was big mac!

great fight, win to mac-attack but was a close one. both guys did a great job hope to see them lock up again.

Posted by Marlinf49 on November 30, 2009 at 03:09 PM

Macintyre took some big hits but he still keeps comming and would have won...

The NW is looking interesting with Big Mac, Grats, Boogey, and Scott

Posted by bloodchurn on October 25, 2009 at 02:58 AM

Mcgrattan early, Macintyre late.

Solid Draw

Posted by BigBadBruins68 on October 25, 2009 at 10:41 AM

Fight of the Night! Great job by both guys who must have been exhausted because they were at the end of their shifts. Great draw.

Posted by Klappstulle on October 25, 2009 at 08:04 AM

Nice fight, but didn't see a winner.

Posted by samtheman on October 31, 2009 at 04:17 PM

FOTY so far! Big props to MacIntyre for coming back strong after getting pummelled early on. I gave it a draw.

Posted by Thoragh on October 25, 2009 at 01:34 AM

This fight was pure awesome. Definitely the best fight of the early season.

Posted by acdcrocksno1 on October 25, 2009 at 02:54 AM

Great fight, best draw I've seen in ages

Posted by marinermoose38 on October 25, 2009 at 12:07 PM

McGrattan dominated early, Smackintyre dominated late. This is a CLEAR DRAW.

God this was a great heavyweight fight draw/edge to grats

Posted by TrueBlue26 on October 25, 2009 at 11:13 AM

wow over 500 lbs in the tussle wow edge to mcgattan

Posted by Oil Can Henry on October 25, 2009 at 04:35 AM

They went at it, pretty-good,....one of the better ones, this year. Nice effort by MacIntyre but, McGrattan landed some stronger shots. Definite edge to McGrattan.

Posted by CubsJunkie on February 08, 2010 at 11:11 PM

I thought MacIntyre was going to be KO'd but he stood his ground. Good scrap, win McGrattan.

Posted by J.R. Abel on October 29, 2009 at 03:04 PM

Good scrap here. McGrattan with the win but good tussle for both guys. Nice to see MacIntyre back fighting after Godard broke his orbital last season. Probably didn't do it much good here though.

Posted by azjim on October 26, 2009 at 05:24 AM

Great fight. Give it to McGrattan, but both guys showed heart and soul.

Posted by chad420 on October 26, 2009 at 10:07 PM

win gratts....big mac ate a bunch...but was not "out on his feet"......macs face looking worse for the wear @ the end though

Posted by PigIron on November 01, 2009 at 05:52 PM

Good fight! Mac came on at the end - but I still gave it to McGrattan for the first half of the figtht.

Posted by cji1065 on October 25, 2009 at 08:19 PM

Give it to Mcgrattan by slightest of margins.Landed better punches.

Posted by BritishRedWing on October 29, 2009 at 09:08 PM

Win McGratton. I thought he was tired before it started, but he landed some good shots. MacIntyre is tough as nails, he stayed in it !

Posted by muskokadangler on October 25, 2009 at 12:28 AM

Good fuckin tilt!!!!!!!!

Posted by cccurtis21 on October 25, 2009 at 10:26 PM

good fight give the edge to big McGratt

Posted by illukka on October 25, 2009 at 09:01 AM

great fight between 2 real heavies here..grats nice hook inside then 3 straight uppercuts& haymakers that connect and clearly daze bigmac who then recovers nicely to even it up a bit in the end still i gave the w to grats

Posted by leaffanatic on October 25, 2009 at 02:59 PM

Pretty close fight...MacIntyre cam on strong nearing the end...But a win non the less for Brian..

Posted by rocky7482 on October 25, 2009 at 08:43 AM

Very good. One of the best of the season to date. You can tell that McGrattan was at the end of a shift. He ran out of gas at the end.

Posted by mokan33 on October 25, 2009 at 02:08 PM

Win for Gratts. Brian is making a comeback in more ways than one. I hope he makes his goal of most FM's of the year. That is, if he can find willing dance partners as the year progresses.

Posted by blueshirts1623 on October 26, 2009 at 12:04 PM

What a fight....McGratten makes a good showing here and gets an big win.

Posted by claire alexande on October 25, 2009 at 12:41 PM

Sorry, but only MacIntyre's flurry at the end prevents this from being a domination. Decisive win for McGrattan. MacIntyre's days are numbered as he gets his head handed to him anytime he fights a true heavyweight. I was hoping Scrotini would drop them with Freddie Sjostrom, but once again we are denied seeing Zit get his lights punched out.

Posted by detroitish on October 26, 2009 at 08:57 PM

wow. great fight. mcgrattan with the win, but macintyre never gave up.

Posted by goob on October 25, 2009 at 08:17 AM

WOW...............whata a go round man that was a beauty.i gave slight edge to gratts with those 7 rights in a row but bigmac came back at the end to make it close..that was the BATTLE OF ALBERTA.

Posted by SrqWingNut on October 26, 2009 at 09:03 PM

Best fight I've seen in a while.

Posted by balravens13 on October 25, 2009 at 08:01 PM

Wow very good. The best fight i've seen this year. I was suprised how long it lasted especially after seening McGrattan with his hands on his knees. I gave McGrattan the nod due to his fast start and MacIntyre didnt do enough in his surge, especially with how exhausted McGrattan was. Thats 2 wins for McGrattan this year. Comeback player of the year?

EASY FOTY SO FAR!! Slight win by McGrattan but helluva showing by Big Mac after eating those early punches from Grats.

Posted by bigwilly37 on October 26, 2009 at 04:58 PM

Definite FOYT candidate.. Love seeing the McGrattan square off back!! Good heavyweight bout!

Posted by BigTot on October 26, 2009 at 04:13 PM

What a GREAT scrap... Huge win by McGratton. Layin out the HUGE bombs

Posted by teebo on October 25, 2009 at 05:19 AM

wow, great fight

Posted by Rick16 on October 26, 2009 at 09:51 PM

best heavyweight tilt of the year so far... mcgratton landed some bombs including a couple of uppercuts, but macintyre kept throwing and tagged mcgratton with a couple of beauties that caused him to turn away for a bit my vote goes to mcgratton decisively
