Laperriere is great for hockey. IF you watch the scrap close you see Ian pat Adam Burish on the chest after the fight. Good stuff. Laperriere for the victory.

Meh, ok fight at best. To damn much sweater tugging and noogies. I gave it to Ian just for actually throwing a couple and sort of owning the fight.

Laperriere gave alot and Burish got alot of punches. Gotta love the color commentater for making the fight more exciting then it acctually was 'OH!-WE GOT A FIGHT!!!'

Gotta give it to Lappy for trying. That left when he switched won it for me. P.S. - What's up with people saying certain guys should "Stop Fighting." I love that Burish is piling up penalty mins. U GO BOY! If Daniel Carcillo hadn't gotten hurt he could've had 250 penalty mins by the All-Star Break. That's Awesome. I agree that a hufest is annoying to watch, but anything can happen. An arm can get loose even in a hugfest. I'M SURE EVERYONE AGREES IT'S BETTER THAN NO FIGHT AT ALL!

Boring fight guys.

Things can't be good when Adam Burish is our tough guy/enforcer. He has heart but that doesn't win fights. Win to Laperriere.

Dont get me wrong, I'mba huge mark for Ian Laperriere, but he needs to stop dropping the gloves. Sure he won this one, but he doesn't win many, even though he is usually a willing combatant.

lappy is one of the good guys.wins here.

I hate the Avalanche, and was hoping Laperriere would get walloped. But I do agree that was a classy move tapping Burish on the chest after the fight. Win Lap.

Burish is tough, no question, but Laperriere landed a few more good punches, especially the left to the ear toward the end. IL for the win.

I thought that was good, nothing exceptional as far as the fight. The sportsmanship should be noted..... He said "we cool", "yeah we're good", "alright good one huh" "yeah"

Lappy did nice work, although didn't do much damage on his some back of the head punches. I give slight edge to Lappy controlling the fight. A draw as well still.

These guys have class and deserve respect.

Nice early fight to get the crowd going, but not too much else. Ian with the takedown and a couple of shots gets the nod.

Posted by slshbleed on January 19, 2008 at 01:55 PM

You have to give the edge to Laperriere because he threw a few more. They were all weak punches for both fighters. At least they were trying to get into a position to throw a better shot.

Hawksrule is right, if Burish is our enforcer I'm gonna kill myself. Win to Lappy I can't stand Burish. Koci never plays, why is he even on the team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good scrap edge Lapaerriere

Posted by midar on January 19, 2008 at 05:15 AM

lappy looks kinda tired these days . buck him up avalanche !

Posted by azjim on January 19, 2008 at 05:28 AM

Lots of sweater pulling. Neither one landed anything worthwhile. Burish landed two soft right taps, Laperriere landed some to the back of the head. No damage done.

Burish sucks....lousy fighting style by Burish....what a loser! Ian manhandled him!

Posted by droppingbombs on January 19, 2008 at 08:08 AM

Burish...please stop fighting. You aren't good at it.

Posted by mm1160 on January 19, 2008 at 07:57 AM

Burish should stop trying to prove himself....can't fight.

Posted by merle johnson on January 19, 2008 at 04:09 PM

Burish , what the F#$k was that???? lousy!!!!

Posted by dr00r00 on January 19, 2008 at 04:19 PM

Wow what a hugfest. I counted one punch there at the end that would have hit Burish in the earhole if he had his lid on. Gotta give the Badger credit for taking on Ian. He was a good fighter in his day. I gave Burish a load of crap for not fighting in the Kings blowout recently so good for him for standing up in this one but I still say his days are numbered as a fighter. And no, I am not giving this fight to Ian for one stinkin' punch.

Posted by marinermoose38 on January 20, 2008 at 07:48 PM

terrible hug fest. Laperriere pulls this kind of s**t all the time!

Posted by Metromid14 on January 19, 2008 at 07:16 PM

Laperrire dominated the fight start to finish
