In the midst of his seemingly seasonal desperate attempt to avoid life in the minors... Glass delivers a candidate for hit of the year and then admirably hangs in there against a bigger albeit less qualified yet angrier opponent Great early recap-reviews by Thorn112 and Adulane62

This started out like a movie fight in a saloon - wild swings that just missed. Further along it appeared that Glass got in a good shot to the beak, after which Siemens looked disinterested in continuing.

Glass with a big hit and easy win .... were the ones that voted for Siemens listening to the announcers on radio???

Tanner Glass opens a can of whoop ass on Siemens. Siemens tried to fight back until he got busted in the nose with a hard left. Good fight.

Video left out the best part. They swapped gloves while in their repsctive penalty boxes

Great hit by Glass,, Who are the idiots that voted for Siemens, he tried to skate away druing the fight he just gave up after taking a good one to the beak. If Siemens wasn't wearing a visor he'd be laying on the ice.

Tanner with an absolutely bone rattling check. Duncan "I'm not a first round bust" Siemens obliges him and stands toe-to-toe with the much better pugilist. Glass gets the win in his final hurrah tour.

Glass follows up his nice hit with the decision in this scrap.

Glass seemed to land the bigger punch, so I give him the W. It looked like he might have done more damage had Siemens not been wearing a shield.

Good on the Flames for recalling Glass to the NHL. Siemens though bigger was out of his clearly out of his league and Tanner gets the easy win.

Glass with the W. Always liked Glass. He can skate and hit, and I think he's underrated as a fighter. I thought Siemens had the chance to unload on Glass with the right a couple of times, but somehow missed or Glass managed to block/deflect the punch.

Glass landed more - not sure what the commentator was seeing

Who the hell is Duncan Siemens?

Posted by first 6 on March 03, 2018 at 09:11 AM

I have always liked Glass and he will go with anyone. Big hit and a good fight ending with Siemens wondering if he made the right choice. Glass and a 7.

One good pop by Glass... all it took.

By theshould have gotten a roughing the teammate instead

Posted by 7ate0 on March 01, 2018 at 10:24 PM

Good effort by both, Siemens with the W but only because he used his jab...

Posted by sinbin on March 01, 2018 at 07:37 AM

Duncan stepped up and took his own fight

Considering the fighting experience of Glass, Siemens did a good job and got more quality shots in and was smart for changing to his left at one point.

Posted by Thorn112 on March 01, 2018 at 01:54 AM

Siemens landed a couple early then took a good shot from Glass, and the both seemed to back off to jabs, pushing and shoving. Each ended up with the other's gloves in the box, and it was amusing to see them calmly tossing gloves to each other over the glass.

ow destroyed seimens nose...but nice to see someone on the avs willing to drop the mitts...later he earned his first NHL goal and a spot on the roster <3 Glass in 4 by submission.

At about 0:20 Seaman recalls a Mikey Tyson quote about a plan and a punch to the jaw. He is certain he had a plan, but plans change and sometimes they sting like a fist in your face.

No way was that charging. Good clean hit in my books.

Posted by surfmaster69 on March 01, 2018 at 06:14 PM

Biggest hit was before the fight. Neither guy did any damage once the fight broke out. Draw and a 4.

Posted by MapleDane on March 01, 2018 at 03:16 AM

Spirited scrap - Siemens landed a couple early and then Glass came back with a least one good one. A draw in my book.

Meh, Glass wins but not a great fight

Posted by razor2013 on March 01, 2018 at 07:42 AM

No idea why lomberg was up when you have glass, gazdic, and prout in the minors. Hope glass stays up.

Glass take this and a 5

Posted by adulane62 on March 01, 2018 at 01:10 AM

Duncan Siemens ain't no bust! Now, that Eric Johnson is out indefinitely the Avs will need his presence more than ever. The dude has heart and will fight anyone. Take notice NHL - the Avs are not going to be pushed around anymore mother!$#@%*s! Duncan initiated the fight tonight against Calgary's tough guy (rare for the Avs) and put the jackass in his place! To add insult to injury, he scored an empty netter too! All around good game tonight. And, enjoyed every minute of it! Go Avs!

How the hell is that a charge? It was a good hard clean hit. This league is a joke.
