so much for the code.

Its kinda nice to see a little passion get in to the game every now and again. If a rookie is going to be so bold as to step over the line and start crosschecking the opposing captain, then I see no reason, that as a reminder he learn , and remember, what happens to those that push those boundries. The snowflakes that think that Buff hit him a couple times when he was down, I'll bet even his own team would say lesson learned...didn't see any of them jumping into help.

Byfuglien going at him while he was on the ground is dirty. Byfuglien was bigger guy, got thrown to ice, then goes at him on the ground. Punk move.

Posted by dogginit on March 31, 2018 at 09:50 AM

Byfuglien showed he is a total POS can't stand up and fight but throws as many as he can while Greer is down then toe kicks him with his skate when he gets up.

A lot of cheap shots by Byfuglien. Not a real fight. It is always good to hit the other guy when he is down and cannot punch back.

Buff is a modern Hal Gill

Posted by TrueBlue16 on February 18, 2018 at 01:37 PM

Classy buff throwing punches while the other guy is down and out...no respect for people like that.

Posted by dogginit on December 06, 2020 at 01:13 AM

Byfuglien shows his colors yet again punching while on the ice,, he never seems to stand toe to toe with a guy unless he is much smaller.

Posted by Double Nickels on February 18, 2018 at 01:04 AM

Looks like Greer eye-poked Byfuglien (1:05) right before and maybe causing Byfuglien's fall. That and going after the Jet's star player might explain the anger and extending the fight on the ice.

Buff shows his true wus colors for keep on throwing while the guy was down...complete garbage....

I hope the NHL suspends that monkey for at least a game. Look at the uncontrollable rage that animal has in his face.

Posted by legend22 on February 18, 2018 at 08:28 AM

that's not a fight its a mugging.... give it a 2 at best

Posted by Mounty in NC on February 18, 2018 at 12:32 PM

Byfuglien is such a b!tch!!!! You really gonna go after someone who is 80lbs smaller than you? I give it a 1 and a draw since the ONLY punch that landed was after both players went to the ice. Byfuglien will get a game suspension or at the very least a fine as he rightfully should. You don't continue to throw punches on the ice especially when officials are in the middle breaking it up.

Never tell Buff that his wife tastes like strawberries.

Posted by Biggus on February 17, 2018 at 03:35 PM

Big Buff teaches Green not to be chasing and cross checking the captain. I don't like to see punches thrown once guys are on the ice. No exception here.

Posted by jonahbuxton on February 17, 2018 at 05:33 PM

punk shit

Posted by woolly mammoth on February 17, 2018 at 02:22 PM

Let he, who checketh the opposing captain, learn from his ignorance for drawing the ire of BIg Buff.

Buffy slays AJG by the ground and pound method. Win Big Buff.

Posted by Bigtimbrr on February 17, 2018 at 09:54 PM

I would give the fight to Dustin, but to hit a guy when he is down is CLASSLESS minor league crap. Dustin is NO leader of men, just a bully of boys...

Posted by Abner Kravitz on February 21, 2018 at 01:39 PM

OK, I guess we know who's a dirty POS. Keep throwin' when the guy is down. Nice.

Buf with a few extra on the ice for good measure. Nothing wrong with that it's a fight. Hardly any scraps anymore and yet on a hockeyfight site have people complain about size difference, throwing punches on the ice. Maybe the guys should give each other a hug and say sorry after a fight as well.

Big Buff goes after Anthony John after Anthony John bumped into Blake Wheeler. Buff then proceeds to hit Anthony John as Anthony John was rolling around. Win for Buff technically as he teaches rookie Anthony John not to engage with skilled players during a blowout. Anthony John may have learned his lesson... although it is possible to see Anthony John continuing his Anthony John playing style.

big buff destroyed him

Posted by tacomania on February 17, 2018 at 08:03 PM

the buff here no problem ,showed that he wasn't afraid to give him more even when the punk was down

Posted by larmex99 on February 17, 2018 at 10:38 AM

Didn’t like the way Buff didn’t stop once they were down. Having said that Greer was totally out classed and learned a painful lesson about which player(s) not to go after.

Posted by Bigkman on February 17, 2018 at 09:20 AM

Big Buff rolled over two guys just to lay a licking on the kid. I think he will think twice about who he cross checks next time.

Posted by Dub on February 17, 2018 at 03:37 AM

Cheap Shot Bufuglien continues to throw 6-7-8 punches after the referees grab and fall on Greer. BUflygien initiated the fight with a rookie 60 pounds lighter and continued punching even through the referees. He should be suspended for at least 5 games.

Posted by GreatMurray on February 17, 2018 at 12:39 PM

Greer whacks at the Jets Captain and Big Buff jumps in...nothing much happened when they were both on their feet. Buff gets no credit for the punches he threw while Greer was down on the ice with stripes hanging on him!

Posted by edwardraffoni on February 17, 2018 at 04:55 PM

NO MATTER HOW THE GAME WAS GOING ,NO REASON FOR THIS 6FT 5IN 265 LB PILE OF SHIT TO CONTINUE HITTING THE GUY WELL AFTER HE WAS DOWN.

Posted by tpr1960 on February 18, 2018 at 08:38 AM

Big Buff ?? I think he is a little soft, hardly ever fights, and throwing punches with the linesman actually grabbing and hugging the hittee is kinda lame. But I dont live in a hole like winnipeg, so maybe I am more upbeat.

Posted by razor2013 on February 17, 2018 at 12:00 AM

Buff felt embarrassed by getting thrown to the ice by a smaller guy decides to hit him while he's down to show what a leader he is for the team. Draw and a 1.

Posted by devilsadvocate on February 17, 2018 at 02:06 PM

Never respected Buff as a fighter. He's a piss poor fighter for someone his size. Technically he won this one, but it was a dirty win. And what the hell was Maurice chirping about?

Posted by demonhead6 on February 18, 2018 at 11:39 AM

Butt-fuglien continues to display his dirty play. Punching Greer down on the ice. Remember his crosscheck in the back of the neck on JT Miller when Miller was face down on the ice? Wins here, if you can call it a win, going after the smaller guy.

Posted by Behn Wilson on February 17, 2018 at 03:33 PM

Greer was asking for a beating... it's just to bad that it didn't occur vertically

Posted by Humper on February 17, 2018 at 01:48 PM

Guys named Anthony-John shouldn't be running around crosschecking people. Hell, shouldn't even be playing hockey.
