The only way that this fight could turn out good would be if they both knocked each other out simultaneously.

Upchuck admires his fist in the box. "You are the fairest jersey jabber in the land."

Posted by Humper on December 30, 2017 at 03:41 PM

There are not many other twosomes I'd rather see beat the snot out of each other than Tkachuk and Kesler. Unfortunately, not much snot was expended here.

Posted by Old Grouch on December 30, 2017 at 12:07 AM

Tkachuk landed a lot of jabs & Kesler landed a couple of big blows. That's about all that happened in this fight.

Posted by Jellyczar on December 30, 2017 at 08:36 AM

Tkachuk with the weakest jersey jabs and eats the most real punches .... win Kesler.

Posted by tpr1960 on December 30, 2017 at 08:33 AM

I will give it to the teenager for the 10,000 jabs he threw.

Posted by Hockey nerd on December 30, 2017 at 10:51 AM

Good even fight between two amazing tough guys! Love it!

Posted by bubba24 on January 01, 2018 at 12:47 PM

Two agitators who thankfully didn't get someone else to fight their battles this time. Agree with royal52, too bad they didn't knock each other out.

Posted by ThePenskeFile on December 30, 2017 at 08:02 AM

Saved by the fence.

Posted by McDonald19 on January 04, 2018 at 06:28 PM

Agitator vs. Agitator. Fun fight. Lol at the people picking Tkachuk as the winner for the jersey jabs. Draw/edge Kesler.

Posted by Jesticle on December 31, 2017 at 12:31 AM

Kesler gets the W for trying to fight. Jersey jabs are for setting up haymakers, not winning on points. Kesler wins in this battle of the pests. Lots of Calgary homers voting...

Posted by alanster on December 31, 2017 at 04:28 PM

Not much landing here. Tkachuk with lots of small jabs, Kesler with the big swings and misses

Posted by bigmike53 on December 30, 2017 at 11:55 PM

Interesting fact. Kessler has now fought both Father and Son in the Tkachuk Family. Narrow win Kesler.

Posted by BBendz on January 03, 2018 at 03:40 AM

Tkachuk punches like my little sister..Kesler is back..Some big rights

Posted by Spazkat on December 30, 2017 at 09:54 AM

Tkachuk with the jersey jabs Kesler with some bombs. Edge to Kesler

Posted by dogginit on December 30, 2017 at 01:15 PM

not much of a fight, alot of jersey jabs by tkachuk he didnt'; get in close enough for any good punchs and couldn't break keislers hold, kesler really didn't do anything against this teenager. Win Tkachuk not that i'd call it a victory or a fight. aT least neither man hugged and turtled which is the NHL fashion now days.

Posted by nait on December 30, 2017 at 11:42 AM

Kesler threw a few hard ones only landing one. Tkachuk just keep the rabbit punches going the whole time landing almost all. Gotta give Tkachuk the win though no damage to either guy

Posted by EK65 on January 04, 2018 at 01:46 PM

I gotta call this an edge to Matt and his jersey jabs. Always funny when a player fights not only paps, but, son as well.

Posted by jlh2640 on January 01, 2018 at 04:18 PM

Close one but Matthew wins it

Posted by Itsyourunclebob on January 07, 2018 at 12:43 PM

Nothing of any damage gets landed but Tkachuk lands the majority of shots. Win for him.

Posted by surfmaster69 on January 02, 2018 at 12:14 PM

some one needs to kick Tkachuk's A$$ but it isn't going to be Kessler this time. Lots of wild nothing swinging here. Tkachuk looked like he was in a slap fight.

neverending tkachuk's jersey jabs vs kesler's occasional right haymakers....draw in my eyes and 4

Posted by arnsworth1026 on December 30, 2017 at 06:32 PM

Kesler with a few big hits, Tkachuk with a lot of jabs. Draw.

Posted by smichaels10 on January 05, 2018 at 06:32 PM

Unfortunately Tkachuk doesn't have the offensive skills or fighting abilities of his father. Win, Kesler.

Posted by fridge rules on January 04, 2018 at 08:52 PM

I say draw. Have to think those bigger punches Kesler threw count as about a dozen of those rabbit punches. Nice tilt.

Posted by claire alexande on December 30, 2017 at 11:23 PM

Reasonably crappy scrap between two of the more popular guys in the league. Have to feel for Tkachuk a bit: win, as he did here, it's only the asshat Kissler; lose, it's pretty embarrassing as it's the asshat Kissler. '

Posted by Mounty in NC on January 01, 2018 at 10:03 AM

How can you vote this anything other than a draw? Kesler threw a couple hail marys but missed all but one. Tkachuk wore out the jersey jabs and landed one other punch. I'm giving it a draw but could see Tkachuk with the win.

Posted by Wooly on December 31, 2017 at 12:20 AM

Pretty even fight, slightest of edges to Tkachuk

Posted by Lamber42 on February 09, 2018 at 04:29 AM

kesler 0-2 against the tkachuk family

Posted by travist on January 08, 2018 at 02:27 PM

guy hebert is the worst announcer in the nhl. surprised he didn't break out the standard "kelser was tired" bullshit excuse...

Posted by jonahbuxton on December 31, 2017 at 02:52 PM

nice bout!

Posted by legend22 on December 30, 2017 at 02:22 PM

Tkachuk is an ass just like his old man...

Posted by preciselyfun on January 03, 2018 at 06:43 PM

The only people voting for Kesler also voted for Trump. Y'all should be very proud.

Posted by E-Mark on December 30, 2017 at 02:22 AM

Truculence! Kesler got a few blows in, but nothing that did any damage. Tkachuk was all over him with little jabs and effectively thwarted any offense from Kesler. It was all Chucky in this bout while Ryan was forced to wait and throw wildly when he could muster the strength to do so.

Posted by DucksNation on December 30, 2017 at 12:04 AM

Nod Kesler

Posted by snowave on December 30, 2017 at 01:48 AM

Good to see Kesler back. Slight edge to him for more punches. He also blocked several hard shots, and got high sticked as well. The ice packs will be handy tonight.

Posted by Biggus on December 30, 2017 at 11:46 AM

I gave Tkachuk the W for the constant jersey jabs, some of which looked pretty good.

Posted by Ducks13 on January 01, 2018 at 05:10 PM

Those jabs from Tkachuk barely count as him picking Kessler's nose. Kessler obviously with the win.

Posted by GreatMurray on December 30, 2017 at 09:59 AM

Fun to watch...too bad no one landed anything. I called it a draw and then changed it to Tkachuk just because the voters didn't have the good sense to vote draw. Kessler threw more big punches but landed points Tkachuk landed some of those silly little jersey jabs but no points for those either.

Posted by STL13 on December 30, 2017 at 04:25 AM

The kid stood up to Kesler....landed a couple and controlled him with the jersey jabs. You don't like that? It's part of fighting in hockey. If you want to get technical, if these boys wanted to fight, they wouldn't be grabbing jerseys at all, they'd be rocking each other with right/left combos. Hockey fighting is bad ass but it'd be better if they squared off without the jersey tugging.
