A couple skill guys throw down. Kesler gets the edge over Captain serious. At least somebody in Chicago still has a pulse.

Kesler pulls off the Narrow win in this dust-up.

Kesler also needs his butt kicked not by this Blackhawk. Sort of a garbage fight. But when isn't it when Kesler is involved? draw. you guys are lowering expectations rating this a 5 fight.

Decent fight, considering who was fighting. Toews is alittle out of his league here with a guy like Kesler who aint a big fighter but has the experience.

Draw .. each landed one connector.....

Great fight! Toews early but Kesler pulls off a draw with a bomb late.

I didn’t know it was Toews bobble head night in Anaheim

Fun to see Toews get his arrogant head punched

Posted by SilverSliver on March 06, 2018 at 09:37 PM

Narrow win, Kessler used his reach advantage to take control.

Pretty uneven tilt to begin with. Great fight by Toews if you don't whiffs or the bearing Keslers shoulder took. Kesler at least landed a few shots to the dome. Not a fight he should be taking, when he has missed so many games to injury and with a rival team that won't be making the playoffs.

Kesler clean win, Toews was throwing jersey jabs up until the end, where he improved a bit, but Kesler beat him with the finishing punch and takedown.

Pretty even but Kesler with right at the end and the W.

Posted by yzermaneely on March 05, 2018 at 02:51 AM

Jea landed a few. The last one was nice, but you’d have to see it from a different angle to see Toews’ Head snap back.

How the hell does Kesler only have 63% of the votes right now???? That was an absolute beatdown As has been the case throughout his career, Toews is being vastly overrated....

That shot to the Jaw makes Kes the easy winner..

Which guy has 3 Cups ????? Not kessler...............

Posted by azjim on November 29, 2021 at 09:23 AM

Notsince15 - I think you are talking about Phil Kessel. His sister Amanda was a star with the women's team at U of M. Not Kesler. Only a huge difference.

Posted by Notsince15 on November 29, 2021 at 09:23 AM

Kesler bitter that his sister is better at hockey than he is. Toews reminds him of this, plus his 3 Cups, and kesler grabs Toews as he got mad. Toews laughs as Kesler tries to prove he is still relevant. Yawn.

That a boy John. Was pretty nervous about getting that grip! Kesler with the W & a 5.

Posted by WhyGo77 on March 05, 2018 at 08:31 PM

Edge to Kesler in a close one. I was waiting for Toews to land a big one as he seemed to be setting it up but just never got there. Good job by Kesler to land a few nice shots.

Posted by Humper on March 04, 2018 at 10:22 PM

Kesler throws more and lands a few, but neither of these guys were impressive (nor were they expected to be).

Posted by slambo on March 09, 2018 at 02:29 AM

I think 5.3 is a little generous fellas... these guys aren't too big on technique...good thing they can skate and score...RK/4

Kesler with a pretty convincing win in this Ok fight.

spirited scrap for non-fighters :) nice slowmo on that shot by 5

Good little scrap with Kesler getter the better of the two

Posted by Behn Wilson on March 04, 2018 at 08:32 PM

"Captain (Less and Less) Serious" accepts the halfhearted invitation of a fellow pugilistic "avoider"... as the two novices proceed to combine their inabilities resulting in an angry uneventfully awkward yet somehow entertaining skirmish

Posted by Nashvillewayne on March 04, 2018 at 10:53 PM

Not a bad showing for either guy. Good little scrap.
