Good animosity meets limited trajectory... as Benn and Gorges swing mightily while missing collectively

These guys really went after it in a highly spirited scrap. Too close to call. Draw.

one of the better tilts as of late both stayed on their feet threw and took a few

A bunch of Hab homers on here. Win Gorges

Posted by Vito514 on November 12, 2017 at 12:36 PM

I would of thought benn would take this easily but it was a pretty close fight. Win benn by a tad.

Draw... Benn landed the hardest punch.

Prolly a fight of the month contender...

Posted by razor2013 on November 12, 2017 at 12:44 AM

Looked pretty even, only homers would give benn a clear win.

Really? It was a clean hit....really have to fight over that? These guys couldn't make it in the 70s or 80s. In. Any case, edge to Benn.

A great tilt between classy guys as Benn stepped up for Gallagher after Gorges bowled him over. Pretty even but Benn got more shots and more solid shots even counting Gorges forearm to Benn's face and ripping Benn's helmet off. Good tilt.

Great scrap, hard to pick a winner, so I went draw. For what is worth, I think the hit was clean, but its still good to defend your stars and little guys.

Benn may have caught him with a couple in the early going, but gorgeus got the better end of the stick in that matchup. JG/6

Out of all that swinging it looked like Benn may have landed a couple of blows, although nothing that would have done a lot of damage. Jordie by a hair.

Good scrap. Bad intent meant with every punch. Edge to Benn for landing more.

Slight edge to Benn in a real old fashioned hockey fight. No real damage done by either guy...they don't have to do aerobics tomorrow now.

Great hit and a good fight afterwards by two willing combatants, unlike what most NHL Players do now, these two actually went at it, no holding and wresting to the ice, well done. Draw.. Oh and to all the bruin fans, this is what a fight looks like.

Looked like a pretty even draw and a 6

Who the hell is voting for Benn?? Other than the one shot near the end, he didn't connect on anything. Gorges hit him a bunch of times throughout, and won this fight easily Very nice tilt, overall!

These two gave a good account of themselves.. Draw..

Even the announcers these days are clueless when it comes to fights. Seriously, they did not say a word through out the whole fight. Total awkward silence.

georges doing his best impression of a hab fighting Le Brigade de Toilet Seat anoint Benn the new heavyweight champion

Good fight! I gave it to Benn who had his lid disappear but kept going strong. If georges did not have a face mask he would have gone to sleep!

After a hard hit by Gorges he drops the gloves with a player of his former team. The two fast and furious and provided one of the better fights this season (so far) with Jamie's brother getting the decision victory but, admirable both ways. Gorges might be the oldest 33 year old in the history of the world.

Pretty good fight. Im giving the edge to Jordie Benn on this one.

even though jordie is less known then his brother jamie he's probably my favorite of the 2.he's got only handful of fights in his career but everytime he dropped them he proved that he can fight.so this fight is no surprise to me.it must be in the genes...good to see him standing up for his teammate i think jordie's punches were better aimed but im fine with draw as well.it was a close fight.i like his boxing defense at the end instead of turning his face the other way and keeping away from his opponent as far as possible like is the standard in todays fights.i wish more players would use this technique
