BEAT DOWN

After the game Fabbri told reporters that Gorges' response to his fight request was, "Are you serious?" Safe to say Fabbri was out of his element, but props to him for fighting Gorges after he had shouldered Steen's head into the glass.

There's a guy in the league that's Five Foot One, Got punched in the head and came all undone!

More than one Gorge with the not close at all slap win. Bobby Fabreeze should stick to getting the stink out of hockey gloves. 2Gorge should go back and look up the mismatch he picked a few years ago where MacLaren was trying to laugh it off "No no really 2Gorge - I will get charged with murder."

I love what Reaves said before the fight "Oh not again"

Posted by komet71 on November 16, 2016 at 07:28 AM

You know what? I liked it. Gorges didn't like the hit. They talked it over and gave an ok scrap. No surprises. No ambushes. Just settle it.

Fabbri's got a big heart... but if he's dropping the gloves then he doesn't have the brain to go with it.

Zebras are going to get someone hurt, jumping in too early

Despite what the broadcasters say, you kind of DO gotta win these revenge fights. For some reason a lot of guys looking to hand out payback get clobbered in the eventual fight. Case in point with Fab here. JG land some off balance knocks for the spoils.

Giving it to Gorges. That last punch landed on the forehead. Looks like it left a mark you can see when Fabbri pushes his hair back.

i like what fabbri did and he also landed solid right on 1st punch. win gorges but his rights didnt seem to do any damage...gave it a 5

Atta Boy Robby Fabbri.......

Get your ass kicked for your teammates is comendable and thats what Fabbri did win for Gorges

Big marks to Fabri for taking up for a mate...but not so much for getting punched in the face. Gorges with an easy win. Fun to watch though.

Kid tries to avenge the hit on Alex Steen Pretty long chat leads to a short spirited tilt between Eyebrows and one of my least favourite players in the league. Any idea who Reaves was barking at? Juding by his track record probably Sam Reinhart or a player of equal size and fighting ability. Win Gorges

Posted by bigmike53 on November 15, 2016 at 11:58 PM

Short spirited scrap. Gorges with the upper hand when the dust settles.

props to fabbri for sticking up for his teammate. props to gorges for sticking up for himself in a pretty entertaining lightweight bout. W for gorges, a goose egg on the forehead for fabbri.

Gorges clearly won and i hate the fuckin blues but you gottta hand it to Fabbri he definitely landed that first punch

Posted by FuukaYamagishi on November 16, 2016 at 03:47 PM

Fabbri clearly still has to get stronger and better at fighting. That hit beforehand affected him more than Gorges

Posted by gmr133 on November 16, 2016 at 12:26 PM

Slight edge Gorges in a meh tilt.

Posted by Humper on November 15, 2016 at 11:26 PM

Fabbri as the imperfect avenger in a bout where the lead-in lasted 5 times the length of the fight.

Posted by lucic17 on November 15, 2016 at 11:53 PM

Fabbri did endear himself to his teammates but it came with a cost. He gets hammered by the more seasoned veteran. Always great to show up, even better to have a good showing. Give him credit though.

Posted by FHgrad99 on November 16, 2016 at 12:10 AM

Good for Fabbri for having the guts to stick up for a teammate but going after a guy who is 25 pounds heavier than him might not have been the wisest decision he's ever made. He clearly came up on the short end of the stick in this one.

Posted by kkdowning on November 16, 2016 at 02:09 PM

Ha -- better than expected. Win for JG. Very polite start to the fight, BTW

Posted by AZfromNJ on November 16, 2016 at 12:18 AM

Fabbri 8 for courage and effort, 3 for performance.

Posted by koda on November 15, 2016 at 11:05 PM

All Gorges. But neither guy is talented at giving stitches. So not much to see here. Another "New NHL" snoozefest.

Darren Pang needs to stfu

Fabbri is forced to defend a good clean hit but unfortunately brings a water pistol to a gunfight ... as "one too many Georges" unloads an entire mag on the game but underqualified Blue
