I've never seen Jordie fight so I was giggling when he threw the gloves. Selleck dropped some bombs early but Jordie lands a big one, and grants mercy when Selleck's shoulder blows. Jordie looks like he might be able to throw a little bit. As always, Razor calls the fight brilliantly. Entertaining stuff.

Selleck started with a good shot but Jordie ended it. It was a close scrap but I give the edge to Jordie.

. . . One guy left with an injury, the other won Don't need to look any deeper

The Benn brothers don't fight a lot but they're tough as well as skilled. I am a little surprised Jordie did so well considering Selleck has been an AHL tough-guy for a while now. I called it a draw but wouldn't quibble with an edge to Benn. Too bad Selleck hurt his shoulder - he might have been an entertaining guy as the Yotes ride out their season.

i love jordie but it has always bothered me that he almost never fights.he can throw nasty rights.finally i got my wish fulfilled and he got his 1st nhl fight....draw in a good scrap selleck got his 1st nhl fight as well if we dont count pre-season bouts.he got hurt again.that's a bad luck

Good fight glad that dipshit linesman didn't wreck it. What would happen if he rushed a guy and you get a walk off ko like grimson on simpson? They got to just let them go and let the fans enjoy.

Nice, bombs, gotta love it. Wish there were more of this in today's NHL. Two pretty tough kids willing to heave 'em. Hope Magnum comes back soon with no damage, we need more willing combatants!

Selleck earlie and Benn at the end for a draw!

Two big boys giving the huggers/dancers a hockey fight lesson. They grab each other and throw bombs. They both landed one good one. Benn may have landed a few weak ones late...after Selleck hurt his shoulder. Good tilt...draw for me.

Nice scrap. Selleck at the beginning...Benn at the end. Don't see how voting is so lopsided. A draw and kudos to Benn for stopping when Selleck blew his shoulder out.

Selleck early and Benn late. Very evenly fought to a draw.

Good scrap, both landed glancing blows. A spirited draw.

Visor vs no visor. Edge to no visor. Kind of like the home team in the NFL, the home tem usually gives up 3 points when it's an even match-up. Benn wins and covers the spread by one.

good stuff.

Looked like Selleck was gonna cream Jordie, But Jordie came back and got the better of the punches in.

It's not how you start, it's how you finish. Exhibit A.

Posted by kimo_coyote on April 02, 2016 at 06:20 PM

It was clearly a Draw, Benn did nothing to earn even a close win.

Tom gets knocked out in his first fight. Dislocates his shoulder in his second fight. Unlucky for the kid. Gonna call it a draw. Impressive showing by the not so known but, uberly bearded Benn brother

How is this not a draw? Did I miss something?

Always nice to see a yote skate off injured....Benn, not close.

Posted by lucic17 on March 31, 2016 at 11:29 PM

Selleck with the good start but that right cross and possible blown shoulder ended Selleck's hopes. Good scrap

Posted by kkdowning on April 05, 2016 at 06:30 PM

Early for Selleck -- but Benn come on strong and adhered to the code when Selleck popped his shoulder

Posted by doobi1 on April 02, 2016 at 11:40 AM

Wow. Nice scrap between two gamers. Selleck all over Benn in the outset, but Benn comes back at the end to edge out the WIN. That right hand bomb was a classic.

Posted by conceptress on April 13, 2016 at 05:34 PM

Benn is patient, absorbing a few blows while he gets himself into better position and gets the grip right. Then he wallops on Selleck. Good on him for stopping when Selleck was hurt.

A lot of swinging and a lot of missing.

Posted by nait on April 01, 2016 at 08:27 PM

if your going to set up like they did I expect a great fight. This was not that

Posted by Nhl_racer on April 10, 2016 at 05:32 PM

Selleck had quite a few decent ones early, Benn just had one big one and then some late. I think Selleck had more control of this fight early, then Benn took control late. I would have to give this one a Draw, both guys were decent.

Posted by travist on April 07, 2016 at 04:03 PM

i see the big benn shot, but selleck landed one or two early, don't get the been support here, clearly a draw in my mind.

Both landed one solid punch....about the only thing landed. From a neutral perspective this was a draw and a 5

Posted by mixturebill on April 05, 2016 at 10:28 AM

Don't know if that Benn shot even landed... If it did, then that was the best punch of the fight, but other than that Selleck pretty much ragdolls Benn for much of the fight... pretty even if you ask me.

Tough break for Selleck. Hard fought Draw.

Posted by afihavok on March 31, 2016 at 11:51 PM

Win to Jordie Benn. Would like to see him scrap more. Slleck got a couple early shots in but chicken-spit with the visor can't throw a punch without throwing out the shoulder. Fun fight to watch.

Posted by Humper on April 01, 2016 at 10:55 AM

This was all Selleck until his injury. Benn's "manly right" (wtf?) was a glancing blow off Selleck's visor. Otherwise he did virtually nothing. I'll give it a draw since Benn must have contributed at least something to the shoulder situation.
