Body punches. Punches bouncing off helmets. Wrasslin'. Everything but a decent bout. First there were Russians messing with our elections, now they're messing with our hockey fights. I demand a Senate investigation!

This may been one of Edwards' worst fight calls ever! I mean we are talking making the highlight reel of really bad fight calls by Jack Edwards. No question that McQuaid handles this guy easily. But all he really landed was the jersey jab and not much else. TKO? 20 bruises on his face? Come on Jack!!! The kid made his next shift. BTW...The Bruins got absolutely waxed in the game 6-3. So the kid being willing to hit Chara and take on the likes of McQuaid probably jacked the AV's way up.

McQuaid landing more punches than Bruins got SOG in this game.

Zadorov the Russian "hacker" (jk) thought he could solve McQuaid,he was wrong.

mcquaid is definitely out of zadorovs league give the kid credit for stepping up

Elton Johnorov had a better flight plan than he had a fight plan As McQuaid catches on quickly and goes to work

nikita learned how to fight and use his big body.good for him.if he would gain some strength he would be really dangerous...mcquaid landed some punches and zadorov didnt but it was really close.i expected easy way for mcquaid.i was much closer than results suggest...edge mcquiad and 6

Hats off to Zadorov for sticking up for his teamate, and to McQuaid for obliging him. Zadorov starts off aggressive, but all misses; McQuaid finishes strong, starting with some good rabbit shots, then a solid upper cut as Zadorov gets back on his feet.

McQuaid with the easy win and a 3, THREE, TRES. Can't believe this fight got a 5 rating.. well, I can believe it but still...

I usually like Jack Edwards calling the fights because it's humorous but he was off his rocker in this one. Not much but W McQuaid. Good for Zadorov for taking him on, it's a dangerous endeavor.

McQuaid landed about 50 fewer punches than Jack Edwards would have you believe, but nonetheless has no difficulty handling the overmatched Russian, who showed rather questionable judgment stepping in to take on the Lone Wolf, and was rather fortunate to escape without taking a worse beating.

MCQUIAD!!! Zadorov looked much bigger, but it didn't matter...nice slow mo at the end of punches going nowhere.??

Don't send a boy in to take on the Lone Wolf.

Zad isn't the worst fighter. He's stuck having to play enforcer role against one of the better one's here though. Good for Zad, edge McQuaid.

McQuaid is a tough customer. I have a soft spot for Zadorov as he moves well for a big guy and hits like a truck, he is going to be a real up and comer in the upcoming years as a legit scrapper. Bad call on the tilly, however, McQuaid with the overall win.

how stoked are Bruins fans that Adam McQuaid is the only bright spot 3 games into the season?... #54 FTW

Zadorov is a big guy but he's no match for McQuaid. Still good to see him step up here. Win McQuaid.

McQuaid dominated the fight from start to finish

Posted by idiotstupid2002 on October 12, 2017 at 01:45 PM

Just think, Jack Edwards is only getting older. Can't imagine how terrible his fight calls will be 5yrs from now. McQuaid wins but he did not use Zadorov's face as a punching bag the way senile Edwards described.

Posted by Spanky_Jazz on October 13, 2017 at 03:40 AM

Zadorov's enthusiasm and camaraderie makes up a bit for his lack of doing much of anything in this fight. He took on a much more seasoned fighter in McQuaid and got fed for his trouble. But as always, I have a lot of respect for guys who take it upon themselves to stand up for a teammate. Gotta give it to the kid, though, he can take a punch.

It looked as if we where going to have an interesting fight but then, McQuaid kicks it ino overdrive. Pummeling The bigger, stronger Zendorov to the ice! Oh yeh, Benn stop using my format to write your lousy reviews!

Posted by nait on October 12, 2017 at 08:22 PM

How did Zadorov not get an instigator? He literally left the puck to fight

Posted by hubofhockey on October 12, 2017 at 12:36 PM

Obviously McQuaid wins this

Posted by Lucic_Power on October 13, 2017 at 08:53 PM

This video isn't Jack Edwards

Posted by Jaxon on October 12, 2017 at 08:37 PM

As expected - Lonewolf! 5.5-6

Posted by tweaky25 on November 28, 2017 at 11:39 PM

If Zadorov had any clue on how to fight, the result would be vastly different. But as it is, he loses to a more skilled but much weaker fighter.
