Blah blah blah, the instigator. Blah blah blah. Shut up please about the damn instigator! Win Neil and congrats on the milestone.

boring hug fest

Good hit followed by Neal (unsuccessfully) trying to send a message. The each may have landed 1 but then they hugged it out! 3 Draw. Good on Neal for playing 1000 games. They need to stick the instigator rule where the sun doesn't shine...up Bettman's ass.

Not much fight indeed. Neil tried to win and Nolan very tired.

clean hit Neil comes fresh off the bench jumps a tired Nolan gets the win and is still a Pu**ie

easy win for Neil, Nolan just hugs there. Kings announcers are terrible, cry more, Neil won and kicks Nolan's ass.

not much fighting

I suppose whacking your opponent in the back of the helmet gets you a win these days. W for Pumpkinhead

after Ryan gets filled in, cleanly, Neil wants Nolan to pay for it and collects his toll... he kind of gets the jump on Jordan, but whatevs, that's his job right?... props to Neil for pulling down a tilt in game 1k... #25 FTW

Neil doesn't get the jump. He stands there and faces off with Nolan (replay shown on the TSN broadcast) Nonetheless, good job enforcing for mr. 1000 Win Neil against the tired Nolan.

neil thought him a lesson but it was unnecessary.i think it was lame thing to do by neil coming fresh from bench to fight nolan after his clean hit on ryan...this is the rare case when i think he deserved instigator penalty

Neil going old school here ,, gotta love it

Posted by kranium62 on December 12, 2016 at 04:58 PM

Did Nolan claim nut-sack grabbing again after the fight? He's still a punk and got whipped by the always tough, always game Chris Neil.

Win Chris Neil.

A few helmet shots as a reaction to a clean hit? I don't Nolan was looking to fight there as he's likely trying to stay off the healthy scratches...

I agree with bigmike53 And Nolan knew exactly what was going to happen.

Posted by UnrealFlow on December 16, 2016 at 10:26 PM

Of course Neil has to ice his hand, he pounded Nolan's helmet repeatedly.

pumpkinhead still smacking dudes at will, and I can't remember the last time I saw him lose... what do you mean permanent dain brammage?? you gotta have the dain to start with...And if there is one person in the league that you cannot make a case against for cherry picking fights it's Neil. Whoever said that doesn't know hockey for shit... neil/4

Fight was good at the beginning and end; not so much in the middle. Still, what a fitting way for Neil to celebrate his 1000th game. Congrats on the milestone! He may not be the most talented player, but there is still a niche for tough guys in this league.

Greene retaliates for a dirty hit by boro Neil retaliates for a clean hit by Nolan

Posted by legend22 on December 11, 2016 at 09:57 AM

this isnt a fight its a mugging

Posted by Humper on December 10, 2016 at 07:01 PM

Looked to me like Nolan got jumped, then spent the rest of the tussle struggling to keep Neil at bay or taking helmet noogies. Neil wins for controlling things, but nothing more than that.

Posted by lucic17 on December 10, 2016 at 10:42 PM

Boring. Wish Nolan had gotten loose

Posted by Mounty in NC on December 11, 2016 at 07:40 AM

Neil may have won but thats what happens when you jump another player. He also should have received a game misconduct for the fight itself. Neil with the win and a 3 for jumping another player

Posted by JCobra67 on December 10, 2016 at 10:13 PM

Neil comes off the bench to fight a tired guy in the middle of a shift after a clean hit. blah

Posted by tpr1960 on December 11, 2016 at 08:04 AM

What a GREAT HIT, Bobby Ryan went flying thru the air !!!! Hit of the year so far, Nolan is a beast. AS for a fresh Neil coming off the bench after a long Nolan shift, that usually is against the code, but Neil did no damage beside a couple noogies to the back of Nolans helmet. I will give Nolan the win on the fact that he could man handle Neil on fresh legs.

Posted by Snoka on December 11, 2016 at 10:17 AM

Typical Christine, she comes off the bench and goes after someone at the end of their shift. She is the queen of spot pickers.

Having a hard time with hockey right now. Can't have any clean hard checks any more without a fight.
