One cheap hit deserves another. I love the hatred between these teams. Boyle gets the nod as he should considering the size advantage.

Boyle's idea of justice, which does not meat out any form of punishment or deter future poor behavior. Definitely a run by Ott, who has always been an asshole. Two of the more annoying players in the league in a snoozefest.

The guy that half of the league seems to suddenly want to kill... gets awkwardly caught in hot wing sandwich... forcing noted o-fer policeman Boyle to "ill-equipedly" assume the role of sheriff Much like Monday's super moon... the resulting win will probably be something that we'll never see again in this lifetime

Boyle does nothing but give a beat-down to Ott's helmet. But Ott does nothing at all. Win Boyle (??!!??) in barely a fight.

Let Ott get up ass boyle. Wings lose Helm. Bolts lose Stamkos. Fuck them!

Steve ott is an irrelevant piece of shi%. He stinks, is old, and a big mouth. And he got his a$$ kicked.

Big hit by Ott Answer by the massive but, terrible pugilist Brian Boyle. Edge to Boyle even though nothing really lands.

Did I actually see Boyle drop the gloves? I give it to Boyle only for the size advantage, but sure didn't do any damage.

another fight in another red wings vs lightning game nice retribution by ott after earlier hit on marchenko.i like how he kept trying to get up with no real chance of beating huge boyle.good job by ott.he loses the fight but he still is the winner of this situation imo

BB gun with a, yep you got it, win, granted it was a spontaneous combustion thing with the Ott hit. You wonder why BB doesn't get more advantages in fights with his size.

Ott ott not to do what he do, Boyle got boiled at what had to do and did, Boyle banged his large knuckles on Otts noggin head!

Boyle finally wins a fight, this is a bigger shock than Trump winning the election :o

Posted by komet71 on November 16, 2016 at 07:20 AM

Ott wasn't ready for the beating but was game in defeat. Boyle manhandled him.

I really cant stand either one of these guys lol boyle came in for his team mate that ott ran and did nothing few punches to the helmet ott gets back up

Posted by bbout2c on November 18, 2016 at 04:36 PM

first of all boyle didnt drop his gloves, they fell off, he has the grip of a 3month old baby , for the guy who said he cant believe boyle didnt fall down , watch the tussel again , boyle did fall, and i believe that while boyle was swinging his arms in an attempt to hit something he hit otts helmet , all the while with his eyes closed!

CHEAP SHOT oTT biggest pussy in the league the last 5 years

Boyle with the win

Posted by Kemby31 on November 25, 2016 at 11:29 AM

Ott made an amazing hit behind the net. Catching a guy with his head down perfectly but Boyle for some reason takes exception to this clean hit? Every single one of Boyles punches are off the helmet, so who's the real winner here?

Boyle jumps Ott after a big hit, neither guy lands much. Boyle still after his first win in his 11-year nhl career as the biggest guy in the league. Goon91 who is over exaggerating? Everyone said it was a lame fight...

Iffy hit by Ott--he left his feet. Unfortunately the guy to take revenge is Boyle, one of the biggest pound for pound lightweights in the league. Time to go back and watch the Ott - Zach Sill fight. "He's gonna switch hands on ya, Otter." Boom.

Posted by kkdowning on November 16, 2016 at 02:12 PM

Boyle won the fight (finally the guy who steps up for a teammate actually wins), but I (not so) secretly wish he had a dominating performance against Ott

Posted by BennyD on November 17, 2016 at 09:46 AM

I can't believe Boyle didn't fall down. Clean (surprising) hit by Ott. Slight edge to BB, at least far staying on his skates.

Posted by Ed Balchon on November 19, 2016 at 08:13 AM

Boyle really didn't want to hurt him...which is too bad. Ott and the Red Wings are all dirt bags.

"Yesssss! I hope this means I can finally stop sleeping in the garage and my wife will let me back in her bed. I wonder where the pool boy will sleep tonight? He better give me back my favourite PJs!"

Ott lays a bad payback hit and then gets beat to the ice by Boyle. Ott probably has issues with the league as he clearly left his feet on the hit! Ott got Boyle off the ice for 17 minutes but the Wings still lost because their defense sucks!

Thank you to the idiots who comment before and probably after me who feel the need to type down their over exaggerated version of what happened in the video. Can we vote to get rid of those clowns instead?

Another glorified roughing call for Boyle Regardless of what landed, his blows did nothing to a smaller and older opponent While Otts blows appear to have stung
