Ahhh, finally we get a fight-filled game this season It's been quite awhile.. Ya know, I notice a majority of you guys LOVE to complain about today's NHL Saying its too soft, there aren't enough tough guys, ETC. Yet you love to hate on John Scott A throwback to the 90's player A fighter, a goon, who normally isn't dirty I just can't seem to understand you guys.. By the way, that beating of Jackman was justified Because Jackman had jumped Vlasic to earn his time The Ducks could really use a guy like Parros again

Posted by Behn Wilson on October 27, 2014 at 03:44 AM

Scott continues to contribute to Jackman's bad day while the rest of the players attempt to answer the age old question... what happens when a line brawl breaks out but no one can fight

Posted by la7312 on October 27, 2014 at 01:48 PM

thank you John Scott for bringing back hockey

Posted by Clowes ABeast29 on October 27, 2014 at 12:40 AM

Scott did the right thing after JackMans "fight" with Vlasic. That a boy scott send a message but don't do any damage. Dumbass Love the heart not the way he went about it but maybe that was his only shot before the 5min bullshit rule

Posted by von_swine on October 27, 2014 at 02:48 AM

Johnny definitely NOT getting his moneys worth out of either of his fighting majors, whilst Jackman isn't dead or in a coma from the head trauma he risked by takin on the Sleestack.. #20 FTW, 'domination'...

Posted by FDNY20192 on October 27, 2014 at 12:35 PM

Agree with Mad House.... Scott did the right thing....a guy like Jackman goes after a player like Vlasic...ur gunna pay a price. Big John Belongs in the NHL.

Posted by EK65 on October 27, 2014 at 02:05 PM

Say what you want about John Scott... but, what he did here was completely warranted here.. If someone was to touch Karlsson (our Vlasic comparison) especially a "tough guy" like Jackman and a player on our team didn't atleast send a message saying "you can't do that" I'd be highly upset... Anyways, can't wait for the rematch (even though they're normally a let down)

Jackman did all he could do, avoid the Emergency Room. Scott is looking happy in San Jose. Has a goal and 2 quick easy wins. Hope he can build off this. Put the beast on defense, net will be clear, goalie safe, bodies will be flying.

Jackman acts like a tough guy...until Scott pays him a visit. The Ducks get smoked in the game and embarrassed in the fighting. Where was the 3rd man in for Beauchamin...had his glove off punching an opponent from behind when he was already tied up with another Duck.

First decent hockeygame this season.

Posted by Spinner55 on November 03, 2014 at 08:22 PM

WTF was that???

Posted by pepsigenerate on October 27, 2014 at 09:36 AM

scott with the win... Jackman ever heard of punching and taking a few to get a fight going?

Posted by Rotorhead on January 01, 2015 at 06:31 PM

Good lord John Ahlers and Brian Hayward... The Ducks are always the victim.. Take the quack weenie out of your mouths. Jackman is a tortoise

Posted by mckees2006 on November 07, 2014 at 01:56 AM

non fight

Posted by shawnrocks on October 27, 2014 at 12:51 AM

just love the action in this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by English_Bruin on October 27, 2014 at 11:51 AM

The scuffle at the end was very entertaining, Jackman should retire as an enforcer

Posted by hypnos on October 27, 2014 at 08:54 AM

scott did the right thing after what jakcman did to vlasic. i wonder, jackman did throw away his gloves, thus willingly accepted his participation in the bout (kudos to him for that), and didnt receive the fighting major? burrish certainly shouldnt have jumped at cogliano like that, but then again, neither should have lovejoy start a fight with little man pavelski, who didnt even lose his left glove during the fight..

Posted by efp on October 27, 2014 at 02:28 AM

HA!!! Ducks get their asses handed to them. Karma after that no-call on getzlaf in Detroit. Getzlaf sounds like the name of one of the infamous SS officers in Nazi Germany. Douche. How come the frog #23 is not ejected for third man in? He was throwing.

Jackman at the wrong end of a pitch and catch game. Big John hitting, scoring, and fighting in the bigs.

Posted by The Bud Life on October 27, 2014 at 09:27 PM

As a Leaf fan, a team who sent their two enforcers to the minors, I'm becoming a big fan of John Scott, one of the last true enforcers of the game. Slapped around Jackman twice on the way to a 4-0 Sharks victory. Kudos to the San Jose organization for dressing a tough guy. For the crybabies here who can't handle heavyweight fights in the NHL I suggest you go watch Tennis or Bowling.

Posted by BandGeek4Life on October 27, 2014 at 12:22 AM

Haha this game is hilarious

Posted by doobi1 on October 27, 2014 at 09:14 AM

Win to the big lumberjack from the backwoods of PA. Balls to Jackman but one punch from Scott ended this one in a flash. Win to the SJ Gooner.

Posted by russellvt on March 04, 2015 at 02:36 AM

The second time this night where Jackman and Scott go at it... followed by pretty much the entire Ducks line. Somehow, Tomas Hertl stays out of it, as does Antti Niemi, who quietly guards the Sharks crease at the other end of the ice. By the end of the night, the Ducks bench had fewer players remaining than coaches.

Posted by Bulldog24 on October 28, 2014 at 08:57 PM

In California they think this is a "line brawl."

Posted by Bob Probert 24 on December 24, 2014 at 09:26 AM

How can anyone vote for jackass? you kidding me? beat twice in this game, like a redheaded step child. Scott needs to be in the league...wish he was still in Chicago! Winner-SCOTT

Posted by chad420 on October 27, 2014 at 06:58 PM

Old time hockey....Win big john studd

Posted by Humper on October 27, 2014 at 09:09 AM

How can this pair disappoint twice in one single game in such spectacular fashion?

Posted by anthrojim on November 04, 2014 at 09:34 AM

Jackman just turtled.

Posted by Amerkfan8 on October 27, 2014 at 12:06 PM

Jackman deserved this after he jumped Vlassic. Nevertheless, how did Scott get 2+2+5+game while Jackman just got a 10? I'm confused.

Posted by kkdowning on October 31, 2014 at 06:43 PM

At first I mistakenly voted for Jackman.

Posted by Massive Coiler on October 27, 2014 at 12:45 AM

Not gonna get into the controversy, just gonna say that's a win for Scott.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on November 04, 2014 at 12:01 AM

Big John Scott one punches Jackman! Long live BJS!!!!!

Posted by CookieMonsta on March 04, 2015 at 12:38 AM

Blink an you miss it. A slip, fall and two fish-outta-water impersonations.

Posted by rocky 1 on March 04, 2015 at 02:43 PM

Scott knocks down Jackman with one punch and then on the ice Jackman acts like he is tough after wise. What a Joke!

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on October 27, 2014 at 12:28 AM

Pow pow

Posted by mudman55 on October 27, 2014 at 08:37 AM

Now let me welcome everybody to the Wild Wild West...a state that's untouchable like Elliott Ness.

Posted by boldbilly on October 27, 2014 at 12:46 AM

Clear and simple.....Jackman is a jerk......he gets steamrolled again by Scott with one punch

Posted by mikebflorida on October 27, 2014 at 09:16 AM

Wow, the Ducks look like a bunch of whiny b1tches, throwing cheap shots, and acting all tough. Good for Scott, doing his job. Wish he would have gotten loose and pegged a few more Ducks who were throwing punches at guys laying prone on the ice or engaged with another player. Way to go Ducks! Sigh.

Posted by tbackes on November 10, 2014 at 07:58 PM

scott is a Idiot

Posted by Shadel440 on October 27, 2014 at 08:59 AM

This altercation was not even a fight! Jackman didn't get a fighting major! This was a hug fest which is what John Scott specializes in! Ducks get their asses handed to them? Maybe but they have more than a equilizer available next time they meet. Steve Macintyre! They signed him to their AHL team. 6'6" 265 lbs a great fighter has knockout power in either hand and has one of the highest win percentages in the NHL in the last 30 years! Strange thing they signed him right after SJ signed John Scott! Next game if Big Mac is there Scott wont even be in the building!

Posted by joedelperdang on October 27, 2014 at 06:24 PM

Scott is a bully that is why he was suspended last season and now he has to do a phone conference for player safety. Fighting is great, blindsiding players should be illegal. I was at that game and all the sharks did was talk smack, even their fans in the stands. Most of them got kicked out for being way too drunk and rowdy. Glad Getzlaf gave that uppercut to shut one of them up. The penalty count this game was extensive. All out brawl game.

Posted by DARCY T on November 01, 2014 at 08:35 AM

that wasnt even a fight.neither guy should have gotten fighting major if jackman havent...i have to call it a draw.i would rate this fight with 1 but scrum after the fight made the video more interesting and too bad that lazy fvck niemi didnt join andersen when it was expected

Posted by bigmike53 on October 27, 2014 at 12:20 AM

Scott puts Jackman in a very familiar position. On his back! Win for Big John.

Posted by kingscupwinner on October 27, 2014 at 12:57 AM

Love the fighting when it's warranted, as in a push-fest at the net that escalates. Just tired of John Scott. Who can't shoot, can't skate, can't score. GO AWAY! PLEASE, YOU GOON!

Posted by Coop_du_jour on October 27, 2014 at 12:39 AM

Over after 1 punch!

Posted by golfpro on October 27, 2014 at 12:03 AM

Jackman shows balls as usual!

Posted by dcmac on October 27, 2014 at 05:19 PM

Scott is not good for the game of hockey. Just a matter of time before he ends up suspended.

Posted by sedinfan on October 27, 2014 at 12:22 AM

Crazy, crazy, chippy game by both teams. Scott proves why is IQ is the same as a bad bowel movement by leaving the bench and then accomplishes nothing by trying to sucker Jackman. Not sure why he picked that time to attack Jackman. All he had to do was wait to get on the ice with a proper shift change and i am sure he could have attacked anyone including Jackman. One network said the whistle had blown when Scott made the change, which is why he got the penalty. Jackman was running around after people all night and the first go with Scott didn't seem to slow him down one bit.

Posted by captainmook on October 28, 2014 at 04:01 AM

Scott with the win, Jackman with the pea brain, got what he deserved for running the guys on San Jose. It's obvious that Scott was out there for one thing, and one thing only, which is the only thing he's good for... I am a massive fan of a good scrap, having been around for a million years and seen some of the very best on TV and live... Bench clearing brawls, to the current set to's in the league today. And the biggest difference in today's NHL, compared to all those years gone by ?? Guys that fought could also play the game. Larry Robinson; Bob Probert: Terry O'Reilly; Al Secord; Wendel Clark; Dave Schultz (looked it up, he was a goal scorer in junior before he came to the Flyers, and has the two cups to prove it)... On and on and on ... It pissed me off today when someone mentioned Probert as a "goon" -- he was far from it, played in the all star game and scored 29 goals in the same season he had nearly 400 PIM. The guy was a beast, plain and simple. What made me angry about the comment was that he was being compared to John Scott.... Not even in the same Galaxy. Scott's days are numbered, and I hope he (and Jackman) are both out of the league soon.

Scott is a btch only in here for fighting

Posted by King of Goons on October 27, 2014 at 12:06 AM

Was this an instant replay of their last fight. Jackman is a clown.

Posted by carlosrico on October 29, 2014 at 09:29 AM

Typical John Scott BS - jumps an unsuspecting player instead of squaring up. Have to give Jackman the win for Scott being such an idiot... Meanwhile Burrish shows that he won't be outdone and jumps the smallest non-fighter in the league in Cogliano and is served justice by several Beauchemin and Thompson uppercuts. What a beautiful sight!
