a one side affair. Clowe all the way with some nice shots that stunned Jackman.

Posted by EDDUBBS on February 27, 2011 at 05:57 AM

Jackman ALWAYS delivers with another loss. Always loses - the hallmark of consistency! Tim Jackoff

Posted by Big_Goon on March 04, 2011 at 12:10 PM

Clowe with the TKO.

Posted by Behn Wilson on February 26, 2011 at 01:27 PM

Jackman's biggest mistake was landing that one, and only shot, that just seemed to piss Clowe off even more, and only served to make the ensuing beating that much more one-sided. Ouch! Sedinfan is right on the money about Jackman's fighting status. Hope the reappearance of ''the 'Beast'' helps to bring ''the guy who called it before anyone else'' ...ClowesaBeast back to the reviewing table more regularly.

Good fight Clowe!

Posted by tattooedkingpin on February 26, 2011 at 02:25 AM

Jackman should have stayed down. This fight was not even "Clowe-s".

Posted by bolton510 on March 17, 2011 at 03:52 PM

Jackman got rocked and then just ducked and tried to get away

Posted by staceyb on February 26, 2011 at 07:14 AM

Not exactly Jackman's night--Eager, then Clowe.

Posted by ahartnack on February 26, 2011 at 12:01 PM

' I almost heard Jackman say "please, have pitty on me". '

Posted by faq2 on February 26, 2011 at 03:33 AM

a couple of good early shots, followed by a quick hammer punch in tight to seal the deal...not Jackman's night, but he shows. good sportsmanship of Clowe to wait for Jackman's last answer...that never came. all apologies to the american hockey fans, but i loathe listening to american broadcasts. Clowe with the decisive win.

Ugghhh... I thought Calgary was better at Vancouver in knuckles department but it would seem not. Yet another loss for the Flames.

Posted by bruiser11 on February 26, 2011 at 12:09 PM

Jackman got jacked up again.

Posted by bruins rule on February 26, 2011 at 08:01 AM

clowe gets the win in this fight.

Clowe!

Posted by ogie ogiltorpe on February 26, 2011 at 02:37 PM

Jackman bears a striking resemblance to Glass Joe from Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! Look it up and laugh! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glass_Joe

Posted by kimo_coyote on February 26, 2011 at 12:41 PM

Clowe clear winner.

Posted by mr.alphabet on February 28, 2011 at 12:22 AM

Clowe found his range early and the rest was history.

Posted by branted1 on February 26, 2011 at 03:31 AM

Ryan Clowe is a BADASS!!!

Posted by sulley71 on February 26, 2011 at 12:01 PM

That was a tough night for Jackman, win to Clowe.

Posted by sedinfan on February 26, 2011 at 10:32 AM

The Flames have been playing great, but that don't have a tough guy and they need one with all these divisional games down the stretch. Game Jackman, but as hard as he tries, he is not a heavyweight or not even a great middleweight.

Posted by AZfromNJ on February 26, 2011 at 10:17 AM

Wish Clowe gave Sutter a shot also

Posted by Hands of Stone on February 26, 2011 at 08:22 PM

Clowe with the "Hands of Stone"

Posted by wineshark on February 26, 2011 at 06:53 AM

Jackman got in a left but Clowe dismantled Jackman who near fights end, was turtling hurt, and Clowe held back from dropping him. TKO. Jackman never returned to the game.

Posted by joeman on February 26, 2011 at 07:47 PM

Jackman's a gamer, but OUCH. Props to Clowe.

Posted by Bruins29 on February 26, 2011 at 11:04 AM

Clowe all the way. Jackman wanted nothing to do with this fight after he ate that right cross to the dome.

Posted by DARCY T on February 27, 2011 at 04:55 PM

both guys landed some solid shots but clowe landed a little bit more and did some damage...gave it 7

Posted by riffraff on February 26, 2011 at 01:08 PM

im going tko. why does anyone fight Clowe? "Ryan TKO Clowe"

Posted by rocky 1 on February 26, 2011 at 01:12 PM

This Clowe kid is really tough and can play i,ll take him on my team any day!Easy Win for Clowe!

Posted by Grimm on February 26, 2011 at 10:27 AM

I don't remember who said it. They are words that always make smile. Ryane Clowe - Is a beast.

Posted by slavv on February 26, 2011 at 04:45 PM

Was good give-and-take until Jackman just just took unitl the linesman stepped in...

Posted by Willy WILL on February 27, 2011 at 07:47 AM

Clowe destroys Jackman early and quick. Jackman is obviously hurt and just tries to stay outta reach at the end. He should of never even tried to get up when he went down on 1 knee. He should of went down then. Clear no contest win Clowe.

Posted by fernben8 on February 26, 2011 at 02:05 PM

At one point, they were going toe to toe pretty well... I think Jackman was initially hurt from a right 2-3 punches prior to the one that sent him down, which was the icing on the cake. Great show of Class from Clowe to ease off at he end. TKO for Clowe and a 7.

Posted by haleymonster138 on February 26, 2011 at 01:25 AM

Ryane Clowe is just too strong. Win Clowe.

Posted by rforjr on February 26, 2011 at 08:21 AM

Every team would love to have Clowe. Good scorer, really good fighter. Still remember him in the playoffs a few years ago shrugging off a Tootoo sucker punch to the side of the head to come back and rag doll tootoo.

Posted by kinga101 on February 27, 2011 at 02:32 PM

Another solid win for the Newfie.

Posted by TommyGun29 on February 27, 2011 at 08:49 AM

a couple shots right on the button for Clowe. Classy move waiting for the linesmen to come in. Could've smashed Jackman.

Posted by koolpunch on February 26, 2011 at 12:09 PM

Very impressive that Jackman stood in there after taking some bombs. Nice to see Clowe let up. With some of the 'jump starters' and 'late punchers' out there, it's always nice to see some respect... hmf...beat a guy silly, yet get credit for respect; I guess that's why we love hockey fights...

Posted by bloodonyourlips on February 26, 2011 at 12:53 PM

Another great showing by Clowe, Jackman needs some more lessons on defence, this day in history, wishing that I could pull Sabrehatred's shirt over his head and beat him to a pulp AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Nothing wrong with Rob Ray and I'm not even a Sabre fan.

Posted by CloweStaubi on March 27, 2011 at 01:17 AM

This is the fourth time Jackman has fought Clowe and loses another bout to the Newfoundlander. Jackman should just stop fighting Clowe.

Posted by HabsNilan on February 26, 2011 at 01:56 PM

Ahh man, Clowe is the kind of player the Habs need... but we'll trade for more shrimps like Nigel flippin' Dawes instead.

Posted by eadamson on February 26, 2011 at 01:56 PM

Clowe with clear solid hits. Misses the uppercut and nails Jackman right in the face coming back down, effectively ending the fight. No contest.

Posted by zeram1 on March 02, 2011 at 12:41 AM

As a long time watcher of the Sharks, I can attest to Clowe as definitely being a "classy" (as previous posters have mentioned) fighter. I have yet to see him keep hitting a really hurt opponent, or one that is definitely at a great disadvantage (i.e. on the ice). Clowe always tries to back up his teammates on the ice. When the Sharks were without an enforcer, and even though he is not considered a heavyweight, he even took on Parros when it became necessary. That being said, he easily won this one (even without any "softening up" by Eager earlier on in the night).

Posted by RCSheppy on March 24, 2011 at 12:05 PM

BOOM!

Posted by Dreyfous23 on February 26, 2011 at 04:38 PM

Clowe is a beast and no one can beat him!

Posted by Bluetiedown44 on February 26, 2011 at 01:24 PM

Clowe rocks Jackman early, so the fight is lopsided from the start. It is a good thing for the rest of the league that Clowe is a good hockey player, as a fighter he would be a mean draw.

Posted by jim_mckenzie33 on February 26, 2011 at 11:21 AM

Clowe now 4 and 0 vs Jackman...and did you see the shootout winner he scored? Sharks GM Doug Wilson better clear some cap space for this BEAST !!!

Posted by sirjohn3 on March 20, 2011 at 05:54 PM

Jackman couldn't get out of this fight quick enough. Took on a bit more than he expected.

Posted by GreatMurray on February 27, 2011 at 07:17 AM

Jackman kept looking for someone to kick his azz. He found Clowe and an azz whipping....Jackman got smoked. TKO for Clowe.

Posted by cbas2011 on February 26, 2011 at 10:42 AM

The drunk newfie lays another beatdown. This guy rarely loses and always swings for the fences. You almost dont want him to fight if your San Jose, but he is just so good at it.

Posted by Wings9119 on February 27, 2011 at 10:21 AM

clowe fucked jackmans dayy upp

Posted by fbcomp on February 26, 2011 at 03:05 AM

When are players going to realize what a mistake it is to drop the gloves vs. Clowe? This guy is a legit POWER Forward

Posted by Clowes ABeast29 on February 27, 2011 at 05:06 PM

Behn, i am back! And so is the BEAST! What the fuhk was jackman thinking? Eagar beat him. "Maybe ill try Clowe?" Well not only did Clowe beat him, gave him a concussion. Ahahahahah its good to be back! Clowe is like the hulk: the more angry he gets, the more shit gets broken! 16-1-4

Posted by ThrowdownSJ408 on February 26, 2011 at 04:01 PM

Not close, win clowe!!!

Clowe is a monster. Jackman's punch did not even seem to phase Clowe.

Posted by chad420 on February 27, 2011 at 04:45 PM

Totally Clowned

Posted by PigIron on March 02, 2011 at 08:06 PM

Wow! Jackman 2 in one night! However I feel he went 0-2. Having said that - I'd like to see another go w/Clowe

Posted by samtheman on February 26, 2011 at 01:47 PM

Decisive win by Clowe who shows some good sportsmanship not throwing any more after it was apparent Jackman was hurt.

Posted by muskokadangler on February 26, 2011 at 08:10 PM

Thats an old fasion Whoopin and was just writing thats a tuff knight as they said it!!!!! He took some beauties!!!! What a gamer Jackson was and class act by Clowe for pulling up!!!!! This is honour amongst fighters and I like it and respect it!!!!! Clowe has a new found fan!!!!!!!!! PETER JAFFE does not speak for all Londoner's in his letter to Bettman to ban fighting!!!!! Its easy for him to say I speak for anonymous people!!!! He also refers to the concussions of star player's Crosby and Savard, non of which were attained from Fighting. I don't have the stats but I bet there are just as many from checks as fights,Maybe more. Competitive HOCKEY IS A CONTACT SPORT!!!!!!!! Don't Play competitive if you don"t want contact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! END OF STORY PETE because those who can ........DO!!!! Those who can't........TEACH!!!!!!!!! Stick to teaching buddy!!!!!! :) I sure won't start trying to teach english!!!!

Posted by briaro2050 on February 26, 2011 at 11:07 AM

Jackman was rocked...dude, you just don't have it.

Posted by TasCat on February 26, 2011 at 06:40 AM

All Clowe in this one, have to wonder if Jackman's previous bout didn't have his head contact the ice when he was taken down by Eager. But most likely blocking all those rights with his face was Jackman's demise, only wonder the ice defense on his decision making in this fight, not doubting the Raccoon's syndrome he's going to have was caused by the dents made by Clowe's knuckles....TKO after standing 8 count...about how long it took the linesmen to see he was screaming "help me" in his head.

Posted by FHgrad99 on February 26, 2011 at 09:47 AM

Clowe's bombs were bigger. He gets the win in a pretty good fight.

Posted by mcdadeds on February 28, 2011 at 04:28 PM

Clowe with the win, no doubt

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on January 25, 2015 at 12:17 AM

Clowe absolutely hammered Jackman twice. The only thing keeping Jackman on his feet was Clowe holding him up. He was OUT of it.

Posted by zparker6 on April 06, 2011 at 10:59 AM

jackman is a pussy
