Once again Hitchcock completely ruined this one for me... But from what I could see Fraser started scared and ended crying Scott when in fine form tends to have that effect on people That last big right partially hidden by the hopeless camera direction looked like it would have even buckled the incredible Hulk Despite the crying and the pleas for help props to Fraser for staying upright after such a torpedo Love the "you're next" from the box too Wish I could watch the rest of this game

Nice for Johnny to get back. Scott takes a lot of crap on this site and yes, he has a very limited skill set beyond the tough stuff but he does affect games. As he did here in Chicago, when he's out there he does change the way teams play. The fans in Buffalo probably know now that he is quite a comedian in the locker room too, not an idiot taking cheap shots like so many you might find with the Canuckleheads. Hopefully we get to see Scott/Chara soon. Go Hawks.

McLaren looked like a scared little girl at the 1:48 mark as he was begging the refs to come in because he was geting fed and didn't want to get killed.

Posted by grocerystick on July 09, 2013 at 11:39 AM

Im starting to think that some of you Toronto homers need a solid right upside the head because you are making this site look bad. Watch the fight. Your boy Maclaren (who I am a huge fan of) got dummied for the second time in a row by Scott. Where was Orr? Why wasn't he fighting Scott?

Posted by original61957 on March 22, 2013 at 06:11 PM

All the Scott haters bow down to the heavyweight champ of the NHL. McLaren looked scared and ready to start crying when the fight was over. Scott when angry will destroy anyone. Orr is next, after one lucky body shot in their last fight, with Scott being overly lackadaisical and all you brainless idiots saying Scott is not a good fighter. @bammer24, if my IQ was 13, that would be 13 more than yours. Also your infatuation with men bowing down in front of other men is a little bizarre. You know too much about sesame street, could it be all the little boys you befriended? P.S. Imbecile, (no insult to imbeciles) when you post to someone, you should not post on your own message board, but I know it takes a while for people like you to learn this, just let your mom know so she can type it for you. You are one wierd dude!!! Your brain and sense of humor must have been the part that dripped down your daddy's leg at conception.

Big John!! Wow Mclaren looked like he was begging the officials to get in there.. He took a beating this time. John Scott is a beast and he had a purpose here. Good fight. Clear win to Scott:

Posted by LouCat40 on March 21, 2013 at 08:56 PM

Big John takes round two... I agree with grocerystick; McLaren is a beast but he lost here. Not sure how anyone could watch this thing and give him a win.

Posted by tomthescrew on March 21, 2013 at 08:08 PM

Long live the king! Domination by Scott and if you watch their first fight, Scott knocks McLaren down with a shot to the temple at the end. Clear win for Scott in this one though. BMG and Big John are still the top two in the league.

BIG JOHN!!!!

Posted by Snoka on March 21, 2013 at 08:15 PM

All Scott in this one. Why did Orr duck Scott and choose a non-fighter?

Posted by Kaderson on March 21, 2013 at 11:51 PM

Big John all day. He won the first one as well, leaf homers everywhere.

Posted by msktmj on March 21, 2013 at 08:57 PM

mclaren didnt want to get hit anymore...orr took the easy way out tonite.

Posted by kaboom29 on March 21, 2013 at 08:53 PM

John Scott is a beast.. Just made perhaps the one of the best heavys look scared..good fight until Scott got free and started hammering frazer. How bout Orr, why does he have to go after kaleta, really wanted to see Scott an Orr

Posted by bobowen34 on March 21, 2013 at 08:49 PM

That was one strange ending. I guess McLaren could not tap out so he begged the ref to stop it.

Posted by pinney29 on March 21, 2013 at 08:56 PM

John Scott!!! I guess if I was Mclaren if be scared too. Big John takes the win!

Posted by jnk07899 on March 21, 2013 at 08:56 PM

Big John Scott with the big win. I'm just bummed it wasn't the Buffalo announcers to call it. Scott dominated McLaren in this one. How about Mclaren acting like he didn't want the fight to be over... That's a move that someone who wants the fight to be over with, pulls, because he lost, and wants to deceive the viewers. On to Orr's poor behavior. Picks a fight with a guy who doesn't fight often, who is half his size, and from the replays in Buffalo, Kaleta landed more and better punches on Orr. It is truly unfortunate that Orr got a game misconduct, because Scott was challenging him in the box to have a go, later in the game. And we all know Scott would've slapped Orr around. Big win for Scott. Sabres tied things up at 3. On to the third period....

Posted by MStu on March 21, 2013 at 08:26 PM

All Big John this time.

Posted by The Mad House on March 21, 2013 at 08:09 PM

Big John Scott had a choice of who he wanted to go with there and picked McLaren, and it did not look good for Frazer. Scott wanted a rematch BAD. They both started out strong with some big rights but John Scott took over and McLaren look scared at the end. Also, I've never seen John Scott get so pumped after a fight, he really wanted a rematch after the last fight (which I thought Scott won) they had. Now let's see Orr and Scott again!

Posted by Infallible on March 30, 2013 at 11:30 PM

McLaren got worked, you could see him practically beginning for them to stop. What a girl.

Posted by montrealSUCKS on March 22, 2013 at 09:00 AM

Imagine how fun this league would be if every team had two legit tough guys. I love what Toronto is doing with Orr and McLaren. With that being said, Win Jon Scott.

Posted by Mosie Ledbetter on March 23, 2013 at 02:49 PM

McLaren early, Scott late. can't really give it to either of these two-- call it a draw.

Posted by mvfvette1 on March 21, 2013 at 09:20 PM

Sorry folks. This fight was no draw. Find the MSG feed to get a much better look at it.

Posted by RobMattac on March 22, 2013 at 10:41 AM

Don't get McLarens fusteration confused with "crying" as it's clear he was frusterated with the fact that Scotts Jersey Ripped. Props to Scott for skating away when this happens as he recognized it was an unfair advantage. However, I take away those props for challenging Orr after it was pretty clear that Orr was getting the boot. They will meet again I'm sure. Orr was a meathead for going after Kaleta. However Kaleta is one of the more gutless players in the leauge. He was the one who looked like the little girl in the penalty box.

Posted by SHEP74 on March 22, 2013 at 09:52 AM

Close fight which is a draw- McLaren early, Scott late. McLaren was much more entertaining as he landed flush shots to Scott's mug while Scott landed a couple to the back of McLaren's head. As for the people who don't know hockey, Orr did his job and took care of the "rat" Kaleta and ducked nobody. I'm sure Scott will get his chance to lose to Orr again!

Posted by jon doe on March 22, 2013 at 06:49 PM

MCLAREN took one for the team, any true fan would know that it was all about getting KALETA, and if MACLAREN ended up knocking out KALETA a meeting with shanny was in order, so ORR did what every player in the league wants to do and thats teach that punk a lesson, and if you think that ORR ran from SCOTT your just foolish, rumour has it RYAN MILLER took ORR out for drinks after the game.

Posted by HchVegasNHL57 on March 22, 2013 at 10:34 AM

So the director takes a smoko break and let's the work experience kid take over in some of the worst coverage of fight action I have seen since I have been following this site. Gave it a draw and an 8 until I get a better angle. Love the general anarchy that the Toronto 4th line has a tendency to create this yr. Also the Orr gamer was total BS. Zebras are the biggest fun police ever.

Posted by SharkTank19 on March 22, 2013 at 09:50 PM

Scott thinks he won? I think that is a full on TIE. Showboating after neutral showdowns is kinda like , "Yeah, Whatever"

Posted by Leafs2006 on March 23, 2013 at 12:45 AM

I dont know where you guys get this scared BS, mclaren landed 2 huge shots on the idiots face before cement head took over. McLaren didnt win this fight, but a lot of posts here are absolutely autistic. And to all the Barfalo fans out there thinking orr wouldnt go with him again, do you watch hockey? It was weeks ago, Orr knocked this retard to the ice. Man, a lot of you really need to pick another sport to watch, the autism is high for some idiots that signed up for this stuff. I watched the video over and over, and never seen Mclaren call for the refs or linesmen, as some of you idiots apparently saw? North america really needs to start taking autism more seriously

Posted by knnite on March 22, 2013 at 03:15 AM

McLaren was calling for the ref because Scott had the "tear away jersey" bull crap going on and could therefore throw a sucker punch.......before Scott's jersey "accidentally" tore he was getting lumped.....again. Orr would have dropped him again too.

Posted by headbodyhead on March 24, 2013 at 12:55 PM

Love the dual fights, don't see that anymore Hey !!!!!!

Posted by SPOrTON on March 21, 2013 at 08:18 PM

toe to toe, advantage McLaren for landing more shots. Scotts jersey tie downs arent done up as you can see McLaren complaining about them at the end of the fight as Scott walks away like a coward.

Posted by Cutproof on March 22, 2013 at 03:42 AM

Come on man, there are some desperate Sabres fans here clinging to the fact their number one heavy finally won a fight against the toughest team in the league after already having been smoked by Orr and McLaren this season. The only reason McLaren was calling in the refs was Scott's jersey was coming to pieces and he couldn't get a grip and if you watch this fight again Scott ate a few big rights so stop dramatising this edge Scott as some sort of super performance.

Posted by bajo39 on March 22, 2013 at 08:09 PM

I'm a Leafs fan so maybe this is homage but I gotta go draw maybe edge Scott in this one - two great fighters throwing with conviction. However, you have to say, McLaren throwing down for the better cause! Can't understand why these Sabres fans like Kaleta - I can't even stand the sight of him with that oversized shield.

Posted by cwschrad83 on March 22, 2013 at 03:24 PM

Man, I can't stand the Leafs or Sabres, but Scott won the "Kind of close" fight all day, just as Frazer won handily last time.

Posted by Madhouse27 on March 22, 2013 at 06:52 PM

This was another great fight between these two elite heavyweights until Scott's jersey malfunctions. I think the Leaf's have the right gameplan against the Sabres. Be willing to fight Scott while making the rest of Buffalo's lineup have to defend themselves.

Posted by herewego on March 21, 2013 at 10:14 PM

Draw. McLaren looked anything but scared, he gave the stick tap to Scott and willingly obliged.

Posted by Rangeley_blkbear on March 22, 2013 at 10:35 AM

Scott would be scary if he actualy did something with his size & reach. win McLaren just because Scott is such a punk

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on March 22, 2013 at 07:37 AM

1-1 in this series now, Scott looked good in this one.

Posted by Dijo on March 21, 2013 at 10:19 PM

John Scott wins this one as he should. But why are people on here so stupid? McLaren wasn't calling over the linesmen because he was scared of Scott. He was clearly trying to stop the fight because Scott's jersey was ripped. He was afraid that he'd have nothing to hold on to. As for Orr, after fighting the biggest and the best in the NHL for over 400 games, I can't believe people are criticizing him for choosing Kaleta over Scott. He chose Kaleta because he just threw a big hit on Franson. He wanted to send a message that he wasn't going to let that continue. Fighting Scott wouldn't have detered Kaleta one bit. Great game by two tough teams.

Posted by forbull on March 22, 2013 at 07:07 PM

I love watching Frazer's head snapping back like a Paz dispenser. Once again the Leafs are a perfect example of how idiots with biceps lose to talent. I'm laughing at the MAPLE LOOSERS! Cheers to Buffalo. Wait to see the leafs fall in the playoffs again, if they make it. Why does Taranta use an American coach to coach, what there's no talent in Canada? I guess they like loosing, just like Burke. Maye the next hire will be KANYE WEST. At least it's better than the Bieber.

Posted by Puckstopper30 on March 21, 2013 at 10:22 PM

Why do they even give John "Healthy Scratch Pylon" Scott a siick? Ok so he edges McLaren...big deal....McClaren beat the crap out of him the last time. The only thing the Sabres have going is their fight wins...for the big doofus he is, you would think Scott would dominate all of the time instead of struggling with people near his own size. When players just stop engaging him, he will be out of hockey and the Sabres will still suck and Miller will still be a nut. Hey, the Sabres won...let the looting begin.

Posted by SouthPaw017 on March 22, 2013 at 12:47 AM

You have to give this one to Scott, but McLaren can cleary hang and bang, as he did in this and their previous match..... Edge here, Scott.

Posted by quannumkid on March 22, 2013 at 11:27 AM

Leafs announcer "and Scott just leaves!" after McClaren was clearly talking to the ref and Scott calling it quits. Nice.

Posted by plp1676 on March 26, 2013 at 02:05 AM

I have a ton of respect for Mclaren, but there is no way in hell he won this fight. Don't think he was begging think he told Scott he was done "you got me'. Scott ended it and rest assured Orr and Scott will go next time, and I would not want to be Orr he has a beating coming too. John Scott is the closest thing I have seen to Probert in his prime!!!! RIP

Posted by wehmo14 on March 23, 2013 at 08:51 AM

Scott is the winner. However, McLaren lands a few good blows but not as many as the announcer gives him credit for. Am wondering if McLaren is telling the referee that he had enough or is he instructing the referee not to stop the fight ? His hand gesture at the end seems to say (to Scott), "where are you going?". If this is the case then I lost a lot of respect for John Scott. Full disclosure: NYR Fan.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on March 27, 2013 at 02:50 AM

Scott handled McLaren well but could have finished him. I don't understand why he just raised his hands in victory before the refs even really interfered.

Posted by Viperbob on March 24, 2013 at 12:32 PM

Fraser bites off more than he can chew. TO homers are blinded by their love for Fraser. Win Scott....

The Toronto announcers are a joke, Scott with the easy win.

Posted by FHgrad99 on March 22, 2013 at 02:41 AM

Pretty good toe-to-toe early but then Scott took over and got the win.

Posted by kkdowning on March 21, 2013 at 08:52 PM

Scott with the win and it would have been worse for McLaren if Scott chose not to let McLaren off the hook when McLaren was asking or the linesman to end the fight

Posted by hockeyplaya00 on December 12, 2013 at 02:34 PM

John Scott with the win, not a blow out though.

Posted by anthrojim on March 22, 2013 at 10:50 AM

MacLaren was begging the ref to stop the fight, so Scott just let him go at the end.

Posted by TERMINATOR on November 09, 2013 at 11:45 PM

scott evens things up against mclaren. classless move by orr to jump kaleta when their was fight already going. It seemed like he just wanted to get kicked out of the game, and put his team in a four minute penalty kill. Great game and some good fisticuffs. Looking forward to scott Mclaren round three.

Posted by King of Goons on March 21, 2013 at 11:56 PM

Frazer McLaren wanted this fight and got his head handed to him. I can't remember ever seeing a guy with such a look of complete desperation in his eyes as he continuously looked over at the refs in an attempt to get them to end it. That was almost as cowardly an act as when Milan Lucic ran away in mid fight and hid behind the refs after Colton Orr was rearranging his face. I like McLaren, but he really needs to redeem himself after this chicken sh*t debacle. I thought I was watching Sean Avery fight, not Frazer McLaren. Big win for John Scott, over a cringing Frazer McLaren who completely embarrassed himself and might as well have just tapped out.

Posted by basil on March 22, 2013 at 06:08 PM

Frazer started out landing one of 3 punches, but it glanced off Johns chin the rest of the fight was Johns and the last punch which you could not see from t.v. hit Frazer above the left eye and he was seeing stars and wanted no more. John let him off the hook by not doing more damage but thats the code. Unlike Colton who keeps hitting you when you go down.

Posted by tyrone on March 21, 2013 at 09:44 PM

Nice homer announcers. "and Scott just walks away"? Dumba$$es. McLaren asked for so much help.

Posted by staceyb on March 22, 2013 at 06:44 AM

Scott pounded Mac with those coconut shots. Orr got tossed but no doubt he and Scotty would have rumbled had he remained in the game.

Posted by o0o_dEjAvU_o0o on March 25, 2013 at 01:47 AM

Scott unloads big powerfull punches... Scott connected more punches than McLaren. Scott with the win!.. Scott finally realizes the power that he have. If he continues to learn from his mistakes, He will be a one tough enforcer to face. He did learn his lesson from the last fight that's why he did a diff. Approach and succeeded!..

Posted by Your Mom on March 22, 2013 at 02:15 AM

McLaren picks a fight and gets whooped! He's pleading for the refs and stopds fighting hoping Scott will stop the beat down! What a wuss!

Posted by slavv on March 22, 2013 at 10:27 PM

Started out even but Scott took over to get the win. He needed to get back on the winning track after losing to Orr and McLaren this season. I do gotta add that Scott showed a lot of class by pointing out to McLaren that a stick was near his skates when they were squaring off....

Posted by C-7Enforcer on March 21, 2013 at 09:51 PM

Scott wins but McLaren couldn't grip ripped sweater but Scott won easy!! As for Orr, he was pounding on that little fucking weasel Kaleta who got his ass kicked and then, while standing beside Scott in the penalty box became a tough guy again!! It was McLaren and Scott who picked each other those who are clueless rewatch it!! This is why Carlyle put them both on with Frasier so one of them could get Kaleta and they did and it was sweet!!!! Orr and Scott 2 will happen again whiners, may have to wait til next year! Can't wait for McLaren Scott 3!!

Posted by fernben8 on March 21, 2013 at 10:50 PM

Agreeing with Behn Wilson....terrible tv coverage. The producer and director should be spoken to or get someone in there who knows the game of Hockey. As for the fight, have to give props to Scott who took advantage of a re-match to even the bout to 1-1.. Could have gone with Orr as well but it looked like McLaren insisted on this one. It became advantage Scott when McLaren lost his left grip. It also looked Frazer had enough and called it quits at the end...good of Scott to let him go.

Big John with the W as he left his mark on the forehead of McLaren just wished he would've stayed in there and went the distance.

Posted by 2farnorth4golf on March 21, 2013 at 08:16 PM

Scott with the W. Unfortunately for McLaren, ORR was busy pounding Kaleta. Ref saved him from further damage. Another example of how Scott has to get better on his skates or he's going to get killed.

Posted by shawnrocks on March 21, 2013 at 10:36 PM

scott the win mclaren almost pissed his pants waiting for the ref to break it up.

Posted by whaleoil on March 22, 2013 at 02:03 AM

.....disappointed at the selection......Frazer tapped big John after the puck dropped while Orr got out of harms way. Refs saved Orr's life by giving him a game misconduct. Scott was looking mean tonight. .....looked like he could have completely destroyed McLaren but took pity on him, possibly thinking of saving himself for a later bout against Orr.

second meeting fro these two and another win for Scott. Too bad for McLaren that his arms weren't longer as not many of his punches did much of anything. McLaren gave up as he knew he was about to get a beat down.

Posted by dapwas20 on March 22, 2013 at 11:06 PM

John Scott wins this round. When he means business he wins, when he gets lazy he loses. He's still learning the fight game. Colton Orr made sure to keep the ref between him and Scott, so when McLaren made the challenge he obliged an overconfident McLaren. I think round 3 will be a good fight cause next year they'll both be ready AT THE SAME Time). Scott will also take out Colton Orr. He controlled the fight till he got Lazy and then an experienced Orr showed how to take him down. Won't happen next year when they meet. I say next year cause the teams will not meet again till next year and Orr made sure he got himself ejected - and if ge "showed" Kaleta a thing or two, well Kaleta finished the game Buffalo won - And Orr? conveniently ejected. Sorry for you Scott haters who predicted that this year he would lose all his fights

Mclaren lands a couple then Scott takes over and dominates him. Good hockey fight. Orr isn't afraid of Scott...Mclaren wanted him. Scott didn't just leave per the idiot announcer...McLaren called in the linesmen..

Posted by 4x4 driver on March 22, 2013 at 08:49 AM

This was a great scrap. McLaren was in it at the beginning then Scott took over completely. McLaren quit this fight. He knew he was in trouble. By the way, McLaren picked Scott. Not Orr because McLaren is the toughest Leaf in the lineup. Also, it wasn't that long ago when Orr was wearing the tear away jersey's. It's funny how people have selective memories. Orr also told the Ref he deserves to be tossed from the game. He was afraid he was next. Leaf fans are as bad as Bruin fans on this site. And the Parade is off again.

Posted by mygameworn on March 21, 2013 at 08:14 PM

Wonder if McLaren hurt his hand because he stopped throwing.

Posted by woolly mammoth on March 22, 2013 at 12:28 AM

McLaren cried for the refs like a wimp.

Scott should have finished off the cry baby. Orr is lucky he got booted as Scott was going to get him

Posted by Jack o on March 21, 2013 at 09:41 PM

Scott evens the series 1 to1 with Mclaren .

Posted by Ghostpuck on March 22, 2013 at 11:29 AM

"Come on Ref, help me out!" McLaren @1:48.

Posted by marballa on March 25, 2013 at 04:52 AM

Those nasty rights to the back of the head are what gave Thornton his concussion. Scott for the win hands down.

Posted by 434sabers on March 21, 2013 at 10:54 PM

Leaf fans are total idiots, go ahead go review the kaleta Orr"fight" and talk about how Orr killed him. Typical leaf fan. Orr is a wimp for not taking on Scott and going after a non fighter like kaleta! I can se kaleta congratulating Orr in the box on his "toughness" anyways clear win for Scott, Orr will get his soon

Posted by Pug Face on March 21, 2013 at 10:47 PM

Looked like the ref asked Mclaren if he was ok. Mclaren gave him a nod , Scott skated away. Scott won, but made the call to skate away. imo McLaren would have stayed in it. But i'm sure he was glad it was over.

Posted by RockemSockem16 on March 21, 2013 at 09:28 PM

Scott dominates and has Mclaren begging for the refs to stop to fight

Posted by cardiffgiant on March 21, 2013 at 08:50 PM

Started out even, but Scott took over and had McLaren calling for the refs. Nice of Orr to jump Kaleta and remove himself from the game.

Posted by GSP09 on March 21, 2013 at 09:28 PM

Scott gets the W , not even close.

Posted by zonahockeyfan on March 22, 2013 at 09:20 AM

Scott = respect Orr = no code and total loser

Posted by Bullybeatdown on March 24, 2013 at 03:07 AM

SPOrTON is the kind of fan that makes this site look bad. A true idiot indeed. All Big John in this one. Win J.Scott..

Posted by JuddWudd on March 22, 2013 at 12:20 AM

Win Scott. McLaren is tough as nails, but I've never seen a fighter look so desperate to bail.

Posted by Jack Meoff on December 08, 2016 at 10:04 AM

I don't have the greatest lip reading skills, but I think McLaren was screaming 'MOMMY, MOMMY". Stupid ass announcer "Scott just leaves", Scott just does not like to beat up screaming little girls.

Posted by Byron052 on March 21, 2013 at 09:59 PM

Scott for the win? Are you people serious? He landed maybe 4 punchs to the back of mclarens head. It was a draw

Posted by Oda70 on March 21, 2013 at 08:45 PM

Don't what the hoopla is about.... McLaren started off strong and lost his balance and like a smart fighter protected himself...sure Snott got a couple of shots in, but he def was not a winner...draw. As for everyone questioning Orr...first off who cares who beats the snot out of Snott...secondly...Kaleta, the cheap, dirty player that he is...always deserves a beating...whether from a heavyweight or a non-fighter...

Posted by scuntboy on March 21, 2013 at 08:54 PM

The sabre fans come out with scotts first win of the season way to go! Orr and mclaren got the best of the meathead their first time around, then you get comments about leaf fans, clearly you didnt watch the previous 2 fights about big scott losing.

Posted by Menessy on March 21, 2013 at 08:29 PM

Good fight between two of the better heavyweights. Both were landing some huge bombs in the beginning which was very even. Funny enough it was like a carbon copy of their first fight except they switched roles. This time it was about even in the beginning, Scott took the slight edge towards the end and then Mclaren got tired and ended it. I voted draw as I normally do when nobody wins convincingly.

Posted by Brian3113 on March 21, 2013 at 08:45 PM

Mclaren started strong but scott finished strong Draw in my eyes

Posted by jpstncold1 on March 21, 2013 at 09:19 PM

Wow this site must be full of sabres fans!! some of the comments are ridiculous - Scott is the best fighter in the league?? unfortunately for Mclaren?? you act as if Scott knocked him out, the fight was a draw, nothing more - and some of the comments about Orr, like why would Orr choose Kaleta proves a lot of people here never played the game. Kaleta is a dick (and he played junior in my home town) just like Shawn Avery, they were sending him a message that the Leafs won't put up with his crap - you do that by sending the best fighter on the team after him. hey original61957 I've actually had pro hockey fights in the East Coast League and the IHL, how many have you had?? and grocerystick he's not my boy but clearly Scott is yours, I'm no homer I just know how to call a fight - if you say I have to pick a winner then sure I would probably say Scott but, Mclaren got his shots in as well and I recall seeing Mclaren with a solid win against Scott this year

Posted by arctic_chill on March 21, 2013 at 09:09 PM

Close fight but Mclaren lands the better shots square to the puss of Scott then Scott lands 3 or 4 to the back of the head later in the fight and im calling this a draw at best and for all the idiots who think Orr ducked Scott , your hillarious! Orr has never ducked out on anyone and for the guy who is claiming Scott and Mcgratten are the guys to beat then think again because Orr laid a beating on Mcgratten last time they fought as well, just look it up!

Posted by shock on March 21, 2013 at 08:49 PM

Scott won? How? He ate about 3 or 4 from McLaren and Scott never got a good shot in on McLaren. McLaren with the edge.

Posted by fenians79 on March 22, 2013 at 04:26 AM

All you Scott lovers are hilarious.....why didn't he drop them with Orr? He's so big and bad......Didn't want to get dropped like the last time they met I suppose. He gets the win here...as he ducks Orr

Posted by john-ny on March 21, 2013 at 08:30 PM

Watched it a few times saw McLaren throwing a lot punches early that were short but looked good, doing no damage to Scott. Once Scott got his range He nailed McLaren with several big punches, with McLaren in full retreat.Scott was very high energy before ,during, after. Saw a nasty welt on McLaren forehead while he recovered in the penalty box. Scott then challenged Orr from the box. Not sure if Scott drank a 5 hour Energy before the game but he just went after Kessel and the Ref saved Kessel's life lol.

Posted by twm on March 22, 2013 at 12:34 AM

Win for Scott, but I'm not sure I understand all the hate. McLaren was clearly not scared, and wanted to go. All the haters need to go back and watch the video of their last fight, when McLaren fed him a steay diet of punches. Scott quit in the last fight. Scott has had his head handed to him twice this season, once by Orr and once by McLaren. Scott is lucky he got McLaren as a dance partner and not Orr.

Posted by DICKJOHNSON on March 21, 2013 at 08:12 PM

Good fight decision Scott. Orr is one of the best but showed all he has for brains is cement as he could have done this at a later time as he knew Scott and McClaren were going and still been in the game.

Posted by Bouli on March 27, 2013 at 10:14 PM

DRAW - McLaren early, Scott late. That simple. Too many anti Toronto fans here, I think. (And Orr still kicked Scott's ass when they fought.)

Posted by ledpoet14 on March 21, 2013 at 08:11 PM

Close maybe a slight edge to Scott but have to say it's a draw.

Posted by gonzo44 on March 21, 2013 at 09:32 PM

Looks like McLaren doesn't find size difference so funny when he's at the short end. Scott overpowered him

Posted by fistycuffs on March 22, 2013 at 10:21 AM

Easy win for Mclaren. Surprised Scott did'nt go down again.

Posted by 87CROSBY87 on March 21, 2013 at 09:51 PM

Little johnny who lost the last fight; picks his opponent once again. You would think s guy that size would take on all comers; yet he wanted no part of ORR (video proof everywhere) McGratton is back in the league; a real fighter like ORR who take on all challenges. Mr Scott; You are a BUM

Posted by The Mob on March 22, 2013 at 10:38 AM

If Scott were to get my vote for winning the fight, I'd have to see him land at least one punch. He enjoyed getting his fans pumped up but didn't look like he landed any punches - McLaren dodged every attempt. McLaren on the other hand landed early bombs to the face of Scot - Win McLaren.

Posted by budsfan4 on March 21, 2013 at 08:21 PM

Mclaren scored early then Scott took over towards the end but i have to give this one a draw. here is anothe example of why the instigator rule needs to go when you have a puke like Kaletta running around but when the time comes to answer the bell he turtles. would love to see this guy get what he has coming to him no place in this league for a gutless puke like him

Posted by Clowes ABeast29 on February 25, 2015 at 07:50 PM

It's obvious that Scott and Mac wanted each other more than Scott wanted Orr. Look at the stick tap from frazer on Scott and Scott staring down frazer. Win Scott. Watched the Orr fight on YouTube. Lol TKO! Orr slapped your b-ass. Maclaren bitched out at the end

Posted by danosoprano on March 21, 2013 at 10:35 PM

I don't see how anyone can call this a Scott win. Draw maybe. Scott doesn't land any punches and only controls the fight when he uses his bigfoot-esque frame to hold McLaren down. McLaren lands all the big punches.

Posted by ahoy hoy on March 21, 2013 at 10:39 PM

McClaren begs the refs to step in because Scott has landed a few big ones and he has just realized Scott is just getting started . . .

Posted by johnfredrickson on March 21, 2013 at 08:51 PM

Definitely McLaren. He got several square to Scott's jaw at the beginning. Scott only really got one good shot in.

Posted by Gawd on March 21, 2013 at 08:12 PM

Scott took a trio in the face ,couldn't land one then celebrates like he won something,I'm calling a draw but McLaren landed the most and hardest shots

Posted by braindog1017 on March 21, 2013 at 11:11 PM

Quick question: does everyone think Mclaren looked for threes because he was "scared" or could there maybe have been another reason? If he was so scared he probably would've gone after Kaleta in the first place. There's no shame in losing a fight to John Scott, I think everyone might want to relax with the heavyweight champ stuff, he still needs to get Orr back for that body shot he took earlier this season. But he avenged his prior loss to Mclaren in impressive fashion.

Posted by BMcLeafs on March 22, 2013 at 05:07 AM

Hilarious how much credit Scott is getting from people considering he started off eating punches until his jersey blows up and Mclaren has nothing to anchor himself on...do you understand what a disadvantage Scott's 'wardrobe malfunction' puts McLaren at??? If you mock McLaren for calling in the refs at that point than you don't get it, or YOU lack objectivity. McLaren might as well have had his hands tied behind his back after Scott's jersey shreds apart. Scott is barely able to expose that MASSIVE advantage bestowed upon him, and he celebrates as if he did something special? What a joke. Also, anyone suggestin Orr ducked Scott is an idiot. It was obvious that the boys were both out there to guarantee someone got after Kaleta. It could just as easily have been Orr vs Scott and McLaren vs Kaleta, except Mclaren invited Scott before puck drop. As for people playing the "mismatch" card with Kaleta...he had a chance to answer for his embarrassing bullshit in a "better" matchup with Fraser. Instead he chose to dive into his own net and further embarrass himself and the Sabres franchise. I look forward to someone in the NHL deciding to take a suspension to finally get that weasely piece of shit.

Posted by Speed Kills on March 22, 2013 at 04:01 PM

Mclaren was winning untill Scotts jersey ripped he had nothing to hold on too call it a draw wish it coulda went on. wonder who woulda tired out first. Love how toronto is right at the top with toughest teams. Scott 0-2-1 vs Toronto

Posted by H.i.t.m.a.n 514 on March 21, 2013 at 08:45 PM

SCOTT WIN BUT MCLAREN IS A GOOD HEAVY TORONTO IS THE REEL THUG TEEM THIS YEARS THE BIG BAD LEAF ORR-MCLAREN-FRASER

Posted by bammer24 on March 22, 2013 at 03:08 PM

Who starts this whole thing Kaleta ! Then Orr wants Kaleta. Scott goes with McLaren both exchanging until Scott shirt gets all ripped up and theres nothing to hang on to.Then Scott acts like he just KO`d McLaren.Which still means he has not proven nothing yet.So boys still keep it in your pants for this guy..Next weeks lesson teach Scott how to tie his own skates.By the way at end that is how he grunts for more food by gesturing his hands up after a fight. At the end of the season were gonna hit him with a paper air plane and re-enact a third Tower falling. That was for my number # 1 Fan-original61957 and his IQ of 13 Which will be Proudly Sponsered on Sesame Street Tomorrow Just for Him.By the way you can Bow down to Scott I`m sure you will like it much better on your knees. Hey unoriginal6195769 I Posted on my message board so people can see what I wrote to you..You told Me that you have seen Gordie Howe fight and Bobby Hull why would you want to pick on me I`m on 10years old you mean old man.Why do you touch little boys you promised me a candy bar.

Posted by Joe Rock on March 22, 2013 at 01:10 AM

McLaren early, Scott late. For the Sabre homers who have probabaly never laced up a pair of skates or been in a hockey fight, McLaren wasn't asking the ref to stop the fight, he wanted them to let it continue so he could try and win it late. Scott decides finally getting a win against a Leaf player was better than continuing so he skates away. Like Scott as a fighter, but that was a douche move at the end. If you're tough, you don't need to celebrate like a little girl when you win a fight. Too bad we won't see Round 3 until next year.
