Another Bruin gets beaten up and embarrassed. 7 wins in 21 fights for the entire team. That's a really soft bunch. Didn't this team used to be tough? Now people just laugh at them and make jokes about skirts and dresses.

I hate these visor fights. Foligno with the win.

Posted by staceyb on December 20, 2013 at 01:44 PM

Foligno with the Gordie Howe last night but he didn't really do much damage to the young journeyman Fraser. Interesting that the Sabres did not dress John Scott last night.

Posted by Humper on December 20, 2013 at 12:34 PM

All Foligno, all the time. And @beretta804 - No, you DON"T gotta give Matt the win being his first fight and all against another fighter. He freaking LOST.

Posted by Renslips on December 20, 2013 at 01:13 PM

It's too bad that Foligno couldn't punch the front of Fraser's face instead of the back Heavy knuckles Foligno with the easy win once his hand was free.

down goes fraser

Posted by talister106 on December 20, 2013 at 01:56 PM

Foligno in complete control.

Posted by endor on December 20, 2013 at 11:49 AM

Foligno--he sure beat the hell out of Fraser's helmet!

Posted by runkelia on December 20, 2013 at 10:21 AM

Not sure what precipitated this fight, Foligno with the win

Posted by waynegibbous on December 20, 2013 at 03:27 PM

Ditch the visor Marcus!

Posted by DARCY T on December 21, 2013 at 04:38 AM

when i saw the names i thought fraser picked wrong guy for his 1st nhl fight.but he was doing quite well.at least the first half.foligno took over and controlled the fight in the second half.he didnt land a single punch though.he pounded fraser to the ice hitting his shoulder pad or back

Posted by francoisleroux on December 20, 2013 at 01:01 PM

I would not wanna mess with either Foligno boy. Strong kids who are not afraid to throw 'em. I'd love to find out what Mike was feeding these kids growing up. Probably a high-protein diet with a side of genetic-wonderbread.

Posted by srehm1 on December 22, 2013 at 11:40 AM

Foligno threw a lot but landed only a few back of the helmet shots. Edge Foligno.

Posted by jtl6713 on December 21, 2013 at 05:28 AM

Interesting stuff here. Nolan is trying to turn Foligno into a big tough gritty forward. Problem is that Marcus is a real nice guy. Doesn't have the killer instinct like his brother or his father. Seems difficult to impossible to change someones fundamental character but we'll see how it goes. Keeps winning his fights and leading the team in hits night by night so it's so far so good.

Not the one you hope for with a Bruins Sabres game but Fraser no match for Foligno.

Posted by orangecuse on December 20, 2013 at 10:11 PM

Foligno with the win he was the only one throwing.

Posted by Great Murray on December 20, 2013 at 12:15 PM

Foligno probably only landed one...but Fraser didn't fight. All Foligno

Posted by jkibler on December 20, 2013 at 07:35 PM

Foligno is proving to be pretty tough when he drops the gloves. didn't look like his heart was really in it but was able to work himself into it. Winner: Foligno

Posted by EK65 on December 20, 2013 at 02:44 PM

Win Foligno.. good year so far for the Foligno boys..

Posted by ederion on December 20, 2013 at 11:43 AM

Not a great fight. Not many clean shots but Foligno controlled the bout

Posted by Gbuck18 on December 21, 2013 at 09:32 AM

Fraser needs to be smarter in picking dance partners

Posted by TERMINATOR on December 21, 2013 at 07:03 PM

Foligno landed a lot more nothing major a lot of helmet shots but definitely the win.

Posted by DrJohnnyFever on December 20, 2013 at 03:50 PM

Yawn.

Posted by Behn Wilson on December 20, 2013 at 12:08 PM

Fraser can't successfully tie up Foligno's right much less land anything significant of his own.. but once the bigger Sabre got it loose... that was all she wrote

Posted by BennyD on December 20, 2013 at 03:42 PM

Slight edge to Marcus, simply for being a little more eager to throw. Even Jack Edwards was quiet on this one.

Posted by Robertm2 on December 20, 2013 at 12:37 PM

Fraser didn't show anything, was just trying not to get hurt

Posted by Rando716 on December 21, 2013 at 06:53 AM

A lot of punches thrown.... not too many landed

Posted by English_Bruin on December 20, 2013 at 12:50 PM

Another Bruin loss, whats up with these guys? Jack Edwards will come down throwing soon

Posted by PapaRebs on December 20, 2013 at 12:46 PM

Not much, could have been worse if Foligno got his right arm lose

Posted by glovedropper08 on December 20, 2013 at 05:04 PM

Foligno is an animal

Posted by Reggie Fleming on December 22, 2013 at 01:49 AM

Sabres, maybe the most under rated team in hockey....win another fight!

Posted by ironbar44 on December 20, 2013 at 01:09 PM

FOLIGNO fed him plenty

Posted by Boston Garden on December 21, 2013 at 10:41 PM

Nothing really landed in this fight, but the bitter Bruins haters jump at the opportunity to take shots at Boston, which is funny considering most of these hating dopes are fans of the cowardly Canucks and Canadiens.

LIGHTS OUT!

Posted by bobowen34 on December 20, 2013 at 09:53 AM

Fraser's neck will be sore. Not much of a fight, but Foligno with the win.

Posted by Madhouse27 on December 21, 2013 at 03:34 PM

Fraser trying anything to have an impact so he can stay up with the Bruins, His game was been lackluster at best. Good of Foligno to give the kid a go. Solid control of Fraser's right arm and did some throwing of his own. Win Foligno.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on December 23, 2013 at 03:05 AM

Foligno pounded Fraser.

Posted by chad420 on December 20, 2013 at 11:50 AM

win Mike Jr.....Bs should be ashamed with last nights performance

Posted by anthrojim on December 20, 2013 at 09:55 AM

A lot of missed punches, but at least Foligno was trying.

Posted by Amerkfan8 on December 20, 2013 at 06:51 PM

Big win for Foligno.

Posted by LouCat40 on December 20, 2013 at 10:21 AM

Foligno all day long. He and his brother are beating some serious ass this year. I'd love to see him take a step up.

Posted by Bugs Bunny on December 20, 2013 at 07:05 PM

not much from Edwards when their boys loses a scrap

Posted by hockey doc on December 20, 2013 at 10:43 AM

Bruins losing fights at a record pace.

Posted by hughcares on December 20, 2013 at 11:16 AM

Fraser would have been better off grabbing the stick and using it rather than try and push it away. I think you could hear Thornton (from the pressbox) yelling "grab the stick, grab the stick".

Posted by beretta804 on December 20, 2013 at 10:11 AM

Gotta give matt the win being his first fight and all against another fighter. Would've liked to seen the helmets come off.
