Don't see a lot of knockdowns with both the left and the right in the same fight.

"GetsTropped again"

Posted by francoisleroux on December 10, 2013 at 04:17 AM

Tropp should stick to... well I don't know what, but it sure ain't fighting... I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that Tropp is the piece of shit who slashed a guy, who was already down on the ice, in the head in college hockey. Oh yeah, and the guy had just come back from a skull fracture too... class act. I wouldn't mind seeing him get is ass handed to him a few more times.

An alright fight (rated it a 4). I am giving it to Sill. I'm glad Sill finally dropped the gloves up in the NHL, which could possibly help his chances of staying with the club. Good to see Tropp rebound and not hesitate to drop the gloves after his injury in his last fight.

Has Sill been up for awhile? Seen that man fight quite a bit in the A, and was wondering if the Pens would bring up any physical players for when they meet Boston again. They'll need much more than Sill though I can guarantee that. He does get the win though.

Posted by SerjTankian98 on December 10, 2013 at 04:28 PM

Eh, glad he's off the Sabres.

Posted by Behn Wilson on December 10, 2013 at 12:38 AM

Not to be outdone by the likes of Turis and Coutourier Tropp puts on a one man clinic in how to lose badly by showcasing the old and rarely successful "Hug tug and skate backwards" routine As the legendary BTWilson just mentioned (Paraphrasing) It takes a profound level of ineptitude to to get punched to the ice with both hands during the same fight

Posted by DARCY T on December 14, 2013 at 05:18 AM

sill finally got his 1st nhl fight and tropp 1st fight in new uniform...unfortunately tropp never got going.win sill

Posted by BennyD on December 10, 2013 at 10:25 AM

Wait...Jon Sim was a tough guy? Another case of Pierre talking more non-sense. Sill with the win, after a clean hit.

Posted by KO22 on December 10, 2013 at 10:39 AM

A nice beating.

Posted by rocky 1 on December 10, 2013 at 11:14 AM

Sill dominates here giving the beat down on Tropp!

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on December 12, 2013 at 01:54 AM

silly

Posted by shawn46 on December 10, 2013 at 02:04 PM

I prefer window pane...... but this is all window Sill... Tropp probably would have liked the former too.... just to make the Window Sill pounding go down better

Posted by slavv on December 11, 2013 at 05:52 PM

Tropp again gets dropped like a bad habit. He's gotta find another way to impress his team....

Posted by gorman0 on December 10, 2013 at 10:29 AM

Announcer " Tropp might not make it as a fighter on this team". Duhhh he just got pounded !!!

Posted by hardcase on December 10, 2013 at 06:28 PM

Tropp is useless as a fighter

Posted by beanholestatus on December 10, 2013 at 12:25 PM

Tropp actually had some good fights last year, some of you have no idea what you're talking about as usual.

Posted by NickG on December 13, 2013 at 02:20 PM

Um, why would Tropp not have his gloves glued to his hands in perpetuity. Sue the glue company if one falls off. Anything but another NHL fight for you. Headshaking W Sill

Posted by Doomzday on December 15, 2013 at 01:01 PM

Tropp's eyes after he stands up look glossy like he took a KO.

Posted by srehm1 on December 14, 2013 at 09:46 AM

KD win for Sill in this one.

Posted by jrsnowden25 on December 10, 2013 at 12:31 PM

What's not to like about these two? Sill with a close to dominating fight. This is what hockey fights should be like. Two guys dropping the mittens at the spur of the moment.

Posted by yngblonde1 on December 09, 2013 at 10:42 PM

Sill wants to spend some time up with the big Pens..He may just do that someday soon..

Posted by bigsul513 on December 09, 2013 at 11:04 PM

Corey Tropp has heart, but he's been taking a beating. Win Sill, and a shout out to a fellow Nova Scotian!

Posted by endor on December 17, 2013 at 11:01 PM

This Sill is one tough SOB. A fun middleweight to watch. He will definitely give a few black eyes this year.

Posted by EK65 on December 10, 2013 at 12:20 AM

oh pierre... havent seen much of sill but, reading the positive comments mixed with what I saw I'm very intrigued (albeit against tropp) hopefully a better matchup can truly introduce me to this guy.. winner was obvious

Posted by stinglaw on December 12, 2013 at 12:25 AM

Tropp should tatoo Everlast on his forehead and rent himself out as a punching bag.

Posted by cosmid on December 09, 2013 at 11:14 PM

Memo to Tropp: Fighting is not your game. Give it up, your going to get hurt.

Posted by Great Murray on December 11, 2013 at 11:32 AM

Tropp didn't know where he was when this one was over. Tropp better find a way to protect his chin if he is going to do this.

Posted by jokersmith on December 10, 2013 at 10:29 AM

Tropp, better just learn to be a antagonist and quit fighting, learn to be a Draper or Maltby type, cause he sure can't fight worth a lick.

Posted by kari takko on December 10, 2013 at 10:19 AM

i can see how tropp got knocked out earlier in the season. almost a repeat performance.

Posted by CravenMoorhead on December 12, 2013 at 10:50 PM

http://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/107625 Let's regurgitate what the announcer says about tropp not being able to fight!!!

Posted by bigpucks on December 10, 2013 at 05:35 PM

Nice to see a guy switch hands

Posted by Biggus on December 10, 2013 at 07:44 AM

Slow start, then all Sill.

Posted by smichaels10 on December 12, 2013 at 04:21 PM

Tropp needs to stop fighting.

Posted by Mikemaster11 on December 09, 2013 at 10:03 PM

Great fight I enjoyed it great intro for sill into the nhl

Posted by Orr Fourever on December 10, 2013 at 06:40 AM

Zach with the win. Penguins new enforcer? Sacrebleu

Posted by KingNothing on December 09, 2013 at 11:39 PM

Pure Beat Down.

Posted by BillyBuzzBomb on December 12, 2013 at 09:05 AM

I just bought my two kids the: As Seen on TV Corey Tropp Inflatable Punching Bag. They love it! We punch on it all day and it bounces up ready for another beating.

Posted by brownie21 on December 10, 2013 at 12:54 PM

Corey got "Tropped," See what I did there?

Posted by chad420 on December 10, 2013 at 10:53 AM

win Window Sill

Posted by Humper on December 09, 2013 at 10:08 PM

Interesting fight, but Tropp would have been well advised to stick more with the dancing he did at the beginning. I also believe Sill eventually made that point very clear to him.

Posted by Amerkfan8 on December 09, 2013 at 10:50 PM

Tropp plays 6 mins a night and can't even fight. Why did the Jackets claim him on waivers.

Posted by kkdowning on December 11, 2013 at 05:40 PM

Ahh, Tropp did not do himself proud in this one

Posted by Mounty in NC on December 10, 2013 at 07:50 AM

Tropp will probably make the Jackets team, but it won't be a fighter. Easy win for Sill

Posted by jimmat on December 09, 2013 at 11:27 PM

Sill with the rare left/right double knockdown. Very nearly a TKO. Tropp needs to avoid........................contact with other guys fists.

Posted by J.R. Abel on December 11, 2013 at 08:36 PM

"That Corey Tropp is one tough kid and can sure throw em". Is something you will never read on here.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on December 10, 2013 at 11:06 PM

Tropp got dropped by a left, begged for a right and got dropped again. Douche

Posted by LouCat40 on December 10, 2013 at 11:30 AM

Tropp is a tough kid, but he should probably stop doing this. He's gotten his face broken twice in like four months. Beatdown for Sill.

Posted by CrazyGod72 on December 10, 2013 at 01:07 AM

Tropp should stop to fight, seriously...

Posted by joe heathen on December 10, 2013 at 01:40 AM

Pierre Macguire...Sill may be from Truro but Jon Sim and Colin White..Whitey a good scrapper in his own right..these guys are from New Glasgow Nova Scotia..actually Whitey`s from Trenton..as for the fight you would think Tropp would have learned not write checks he can`t cash..easy victory for the guy from Nova Scotia joe heathen says..

Posted by TERMINATOR on December 09, 2013 at 11:38 PM

Nice courage from Tropp but he keeps taking on much bigger guys. Needs to stick to middleweights and hen would be fine. Sill wih easy win just glad Tropp did not get hurt.
