Energetic grippy draw between two very big dudes that never really opened up Surprised that Clowe didn't dominate in a fight that seems to put Fraser's fighting abilities in a better than expected light * Reviewing from the very unhockey-like city of Zagora Morocco

The fight i watched showed Joe Fraser as the winning hockey player. Clowe looked slightly smaller and unable to bring any solid punches? Win Fraser. Any fights in the canucks game yet? i wished the fight would have lasted longer. Nothing against Clowe as he is a solid hockey player and i had hoped the flyers would have signed him over Rosehill but money is money.

Clowe won't be asking Fraser out in the future. Bruins must be peeing their pants watching the Leafs get rougher and tougher. Only the NHLOA can screw with TO now.

Posted by boldbilly on April 11, 2013 at 07:36 AM

Well what can I say 51% of the posters here see this as a win for Fraser......but in my opinion he didn't do enough for the win so I gave it a draw and a 5 rating. Maybe they are getting the Bruin sympathy votes now .......seeing that the bruins no longer fight.....and fancy themselves as too valuable.......see LUCIC excuse number 3........ Oh well solid draw.

Fraser with the win....

Posted by chad420 on April 11, 2013 at 09:52 AM

win Fraser

Posted by lb1631 on April 11, 2013 at 10:03 AM

I didnt see anything worth rating. A couple of jabs here and there. Draw.

Posted by jnk07899 on April 11, 2013 at 10:41 AM

Whenever I see a guy get his arm loose like that, I fear for the opponent. Clowe did a good job making sure that he wouldn't get lit up. Draw.

Fraser the win...really looks like a huge draw to anyone who isn't a fan of leafs/rangers

Draw

Posted by TheFlower on April 10, 2013 at 09:34 PM

Very close fight here, no big punches landed and no winner

Posted by CareyPrice1 on April 10, 2013 at 09:33 PM

An Ok fight, looks like a Draw

Posted by tomthescrew on April 11, 2013 at 12:19 AM

Draw. Fraser doesn't get the win because of the jersey malfunction

Posted by garyhowatt on April 11, 2013 at 05:47 PM

fern right on: jersey jab when fraser was free. that's respect. behn-morocco? great hummos

Posted by Tailinphee on April 10, 2013 at 08:37 PM

Solid draw.

Posted by DARCY T on April 14, 2013 at 02:54 PM

draw in a good fight.too bad nearly none of those punches landed...gave it a 6

Posted by flyerguy on April 11, 2013 at 07:42 AM

Someone show me where Fraser landed a punch other than the feminine jersey jab! Fraser loses because he had a free arm and he decided to act like a little bi*ch!

Posted by Blake Ball on April 11, 2013 at 05:33 PM

I give it to Clowe because Fraser mostly hit him with his jersey-clenched hand.

Posted by Whatsupbengee on April 12, 2013 at 09:26 AM

Fraser free is armed from the shirt so a big advantage and did not do anyting with it so to me Fraser did not win that one sorry you Fraser Loverssss !!!

Posted by jcholmes on April 11, 2013 at 10:39 AM

Fraser with a slight edge in this noogie-fest. I expected a lot more. Snore.

Posted by Jdaman75 on April 10, 2013 at 09:09 PM

Edge Fraser

Posted by slavv on April 11, 2013 at 12:10 PM

Clowe started out well but quickly ended up on the receiving end of many jabs from Fraser. Fraser's reach was the difference and that got him the win....

Posted by TO67 on April 10, 2013 at 09:27 PM

Fraser outpoints Clowe in a fight that seemed intense but did anyone really land any significant shots.

Posted by iAMyourgrandma on April 11, 2013 at 10:30 AM

"My team needs a lift and you need to solidify your roster spot with two other fighters on this team, whaddya say?" "Alright, I guess." ... "OK, that's enough, I'm tired. You good?" "Yeah I'm good."

Posted by vanisland on April 10, 2013 at 10:55 PM

Funny how a guy who is so big, starts to physically look smaller as he is manhandled. Just my own perception that this is the first time Clowe in a fight didnt look like a behemouth

Posted by warrior13 on April 10, 2013 at 09:15 PM

Slight edge Fraser, no bombs landed by either

Posted by msktmj on April 11, 2013 at 04:20 PM

win fraser,,,,,.clowe better stick to the smaller guys out west..

Posted by staceyb on April 11, 2013 at 08:02 PM

Fraser narrowly on points. You gotta figure that with both Orr and McLaren dressed for the game Clowe would have been clobbered by either of those two. Behn Wilson: Casablanca is an eight hour drive to the north of Zagora. If you get there please give my regards to Humphrey Bogart--he's the proprietor of "Rick's Cafe Americain."

Posted by hughcares on April 10, 2013 at 10:38 PM

Clowe finds out there are a few more fighters in the east then the girls league in the west. Looks like Tortorella is going to be collecting unemployment insurance after this season - Rangers are playing like sh!t.

Posted by rocky 1 on April 10, 2013 at 09:22 PM

Fraser is no chump and beats Clowe in this tilt!

Posted by b_eazzzy on April 11, 2013 at 07:05 PM

Good little tilt. Fraser with the slight decision.

Posted by kimo_coyote on April 11, 2013 at 12:15 AM

Edge to Fraser. Lot of "air" appears to be hit by both. Give them a 5 for effort. Glad to see Clowe in the East get the coverage he deserves.

Posted by cory411 on April 10, 2013 at 08:45 PM

Wow.... Fraser with the win.. Clowe took some shots in this fight. Fraser is impressing me with every fight he has.. I have never seen close get punched like this... Fraser dominated

Posted by ThogSmash on April 12, 2013 at 07:39 PM

Have to not be a homer here and give the slight edge to Fraser. Think the longer reach won him the bout. I give it 52% Fraser 48% Clowe. Very close.

Posted by darebear on April 11, 2013 at 06:10 AM

if frazer or colton had of got the hold of clown. sorry clowe he would have wished he was back in san jose with the whoopin he would have taken from the bash brothers

Posted by Gawd on April 10, 2013 at 10:31 PM

Clowe was smart to hold on but wasn't enough Fraser with the win ,not by much but he was the aggressor .See that's how you do it senaturd fan, judge the fight ,keep your team insecurities to yourself, not good for your credibility

Posted by King of Goons on April 11, 2013 at 12:54 AM

Mark Fraser outpoints Ryane Clowe in a clear victory. I would have liked to have seen an arm or two get loose, but neither guy really could land anything bonecrushing, ...although Clowe did get his lip split open, apparently by Fraser's knuckle sandwich. Clowe is a really tough dude, but Fraser is a professional goon who is just a cut above in the thuggery department. Good effort by Clowe to not catch a severe beating in this one.

Posted by Flames9339 on April 11, 2013 at 01:37 AM

I gave Fraser the slight edge because i think Clowe was hold on a bit the 2nd half.

Posted by Santokh_Gill on April 11, 2013 at 10:22 AM

Evan a blind can see Fraser won this fight ...

Posted by srehm1 on April 15, 2013 at 10:42 AM

Fraser outpoints Clowe.

Posted by BAAAAANNERMAAAN on April 11, 2013 at 01:10 PM

hahaha so Clowe can fight guys like Bissonette and Thornton.....and even beat guys like Parros.....but he would get "clobbered" by Orr or Mclaren? Clowe is in the same class as those two and would not back down....and way to sell Fraser short. He looked pretty tough to me.

Posted by katdaddy141 on April 10, 2013 at 09:23 PM

Frazer got control and Clowe looked out of sorts. Expected more from Clowe. Win Frazer

Posted by sixclocks on April 10, 2013 at 08:50 PM

you could tell they both really wanted to fight. too bad they didnt

Posted by Wilfmanfellow on April 11, 2013 at 11:32 PM

For all Lucic lovers.....he is a heavyweight who only fights lightweight first liners.......PATHETIC......it is why he wears Winnie The Pooh on his sweater.

Posted by huddles on April 10, 2013 at 10:25 PM

all homers DRAW signed fan of neither team

Posted by fernben8 on April 11, 2013 at 01:17 AM

Opportunity lost for Fraser... He got his right arm free from his jersey and decides to go with jersey jabs? ( Aahhh ! ) A disappointing 4 and a draw.

Posted by Mackyboy on April 10, 2013 at 08:58 PM

Draw - nothing more, nothing less ! Don't get the Leaf lovers claiming Fraser won this one. Come on !

Posted by the_bro on April 11, 2013 at 02:06 AM

Solid tussle between two men. Advantage Fraser.

Posted by cbroom on April 11, 2013 at 04:37 PM

Really?!? Someone actually WON that fight...?!? If you think by holding a guy off with your longer-than-average-arms is a WIN then, maybe so.... I give this very weak fight a... DRAW

Posted by oscarcool on April 11, 2013 at 01:07 PM

Well what can I say 51% of the posters here see this as a win for Fraser......but in my opinion he didn't do enough for the win so I gave it a draw and a 5 rating. Mr Clowe takes the 'easier' of Toronto's three (that's right haters, three) legitimate heavyweight options and comes up short. For a team that once boasted the likes of John Scott (now in the rats nest Sabres organization), that is a tough pill to swallow.

Posted by GreatMurray on April 11, 2013 at 02:47 PM

Good fight. Clowe nicked Fraser...but lost the fight on points. Good job by both guys.

Posted by ironbar44 on April 11, 2013 at 08:50 AM

trying to add some energy is always good .losing doesnt really do it. but props trying. CLOWE was smart at least, he took on the the third toughest guy on TORONTO, the other two might have done some real damage. FRASER with the win

Posted by AC1026 on April 10, 2013 at 10:02 PM

Fraser is a big man..So is Clowe but Clowe gets the L in my book

Posted by 87CROSBY87 on April 11, 2013 at 12:07 AM

Ryan Clowe is a man on a mission Until about the 27 second mark Where he quickly realizes that he is not in the mood to get hit anymore To no ones surprise Fraser wins...

Posted by Oil Can Henry on April 10, 2013 at 08:43 PM

....nothing of significance here --- draw

Posted by GaryW on April 10, 2013 at 11:26 PM

Boring

Posted by herewego on April 10, 2013 at 10:04 PM

Call it a draw and a 5 - quantity to Fraser, quality to Clowe. These guys play the game the way it is suppose to be played. No visors, fight to win, stand up for yourself, no hugging. Nicely done guys.

Posted by bigdog2007 on April 10, 2013 at 09:12 PM

Leafs fans are funny

Posted by Clowes ABeast29 on April 10, 2013 at 09:52 PM

Fraser with the jersey jab and reach kept clowe from landing much. Close but I gotta give that crap fight to mark. Clowe should have fought Orr that would have been a real test. Neither seemed interested clowe didn't seem to have his usual snarl in this fight Fraser Didnt really seem like he wanted the fight either but when challenged he doesn't back down respect.

Posted by kkdowning on April 11, 2013 at 09:11 AM

Attempt at momentum for Clowe, but Fraser out points Clowe in this mediocre bout.

Posted by SouthPaw017 on April 12, 2013 at 02:30 AM

Fraser does most of the work in this one, which had potential, but didn't live up to it.... I see NotSoBoldBilly has joined CustomBrokeBack in the tent, as they conspire, perspire, and fondle each other as the Bruins have taken a step back....

Posted by Toughguy83 on April 11, 2013 at 12:03 AM

Fraser

Posted by dieseldawg989 on April 11, 2013 at 03:36 PM

Not too bad of a bout by these two. I believe Fraser landed a few more than Clowe, but other than that, it was fairly even. Gonna give the W to Fraser for more landed thumps, but decent bout here, boys.

Posted by Leafs2012 on April 10, 2013 at 09:32 PM

No real winner here

Posted by SF BULLS 7 on April 10, 2013 at 09:31 PM

Fraser was the one bleeding.
