I called this one a Draw. One Horton shouldn`t be dropping the gloves with the playoffs coming soon and where does he get tagged on the Head. Not smart. The other side Hendricks might have got on 1 in but Norton was ready to tear him a new one before the linesmen got in there.I stick to my Draw. Custombreaks do us the favor and just shut up about Campbell`s Dad.What did he cut you from the hockey team-are you the retarded son he cast away-are you the belimish on butt-the zitt on his face-the cancer in his bowel.Talk to us your Hockeyfight family we are all FAMILY TELL US WHAT HAPPENED I PROMISE WE WON`T TELL ANYONE.RIGHT GUYS COME ON EVERY ONE WE PROMISE NOT TO TELL ANYONE THAT CUSTOMBRAKES GOT RAPED BY MR. CAMPBELL.ISN`T THAT BETTER ONE BIG FAMILY. YOUR WELCOME.

love to hear that prick coach cry. marchand goes after riberio..shows hes a real tough guy...hendricks whips horton paybacks a bitch. cry cry cry thats all you hear from bruins and their fans

Posted by Rob B on March 17, 2013 at 10:25 AM

Guess there's a lot of Boston homers on here, but it's not a cheap shot or getting 'jumped' if your opponents gloves are ON THE ICE when the first shots are fired. Also, Horton is clearly throwing after Hendricks is down and linesmen are in; where's the people screaming about the 'code' on that one? I'm starting to hate the Bruins and it has a lot more to do with the guys in the stands than the one on the ice.

Posted by ironbar44 on March 16, 2013 at 03:36 PM

shocked HENDRICKS actually won a fight, EDWARDS always tries to put up something positive about every BRUIN in a scrap .doesnt change the reality

Posted by valleycat on March 16, 2013 at 04:28 PM

Wow, I can't believe it's that far apart...Horton with the obvious win. He threw Hendricks down, then picked him up and wanted to go again. Pretty clearcut.

Posted by Behn Wilson on March 16, 2013 at 05:05 PM

Hendricks with slight early edge followed by a quick bail Had it continued it seems that Horton would have easily helped to extend Hendrick's lifetime O-fer anyone streak I have a feeling that the truth... lies somewhere between Crimedogg's and Sirmikeknight's reviews

Posted by 777Big on March 16, 2013 at 03:49 PM

Hendricks lands a cheap shot before squaring off.......I'm sure someone will take care of that in the 3rd.......Horton gets the Howe.

Posted by Lucic_Power on March 16, 2013 at 03:48 PM

The Bruins first line is back 2 goals and 7 assists combined. Horton with Gordie Howe Hatrick. Not sure Hendricks won this He should of picked up a guitar instead of a hockey stick. (Jimmie)!

Posted by braindog1017 on March 16, 2013 at 03:32 PM

Hendricks gets the win here, but he jumped him. Good to see Hortons chin hold up after that big shot.

Posted by Braul on March 16, 2013 at 03:03 PM

Ehhhhh........... I guess that Hendricks had better cuts, so he won, but pretty close call!

Posted by travist on March 16, 2013 at 03:23 PM

hendricks with the pussy-ass jumping of horton...showing his true colors.

Posted by kmack881 on March 23, 2013 at 07:31 PM

if horton got this bitch up it would have been a clean KO no question

Posted by probie4life on March 17, 2013 at 02:15 AM

Not hard to win a fight when you basically sucker punch the other guy. hendricks is a punk! Lucky he chose to go with Mcquaid who just came back from injury and not Thornton, because Thornton would've thrown a beating on him.

Posted by soopersizeme on March 17, 2013 at 03:32 AM

Close call-Hendricks jumped him. Win to Horton

Posted by Orielly on March 16, 2013 at 09:24 PM

Hendricks jump Horton and lands a quick blow, but as horton realizes what happening and begins to take the fight over, the refs jump in, much to Hendricks liking...still I call it a slight win for Horton on number of punches landed.

Posted by Bigmikeftw on March 17, 2013 at 09:33 AM

Clear win for Horton here. Sure, Hendricks got an early jab, but after that Horton emerged as the clear winner.

Posted by Boston Garden on March 16, 2013 at 03:57 PM

Matt Hendricks gets the jump, sort of how Ryan White conviently does in most of his "fights". Hendricks gets pounded later for his Hab like actions.

Posted by Nystrom_23 on March 19, 2013 at 09:59 AM

Hendricks gets demerits for jumping Horton, and Horton gets demerits for hitting while the other guy is down. Horton got cut and went straight to the dressing room, so I'm giving the nod to Hendricks.

Posted by Fightjudge on March 17, 2013 at 02:19 PM

Horton is one lucky dude that Hendricks slipped and fell. Horton swinging like a girl fanning air. I'm sure Hendricks appreciated the fresh air. Hendricks landing 2 bombs on Hortons ugly mug cutting him open above his eye.

Posted by MeatPlow on March 17, 2013 at 12:00 PM

Popcorn and flavored lubricants being served at Custombrokebacks moms house for this game.Campbells dad is over there too, applying the lube. Win Hendricksin a crap fight. Good news,Campbells dad and Custombrokeback are pround to announce the birth of twin Sheep and a mini donkey.

Horton leaking? Only until the compulsive "SOUTHPAW" (a.k.a. "KING OF BUKKAKE") can get to the lockeroom and work that magical left hand furiously to administer his glue....uhhh, I mean goo, and stop this leaking.

Posted by NSalBB91 on March 18, 2013 at 06:08 AM

ToughGuy8 I would love to know where your from talking about Boston fans like that. With a screen name like ToughGuy8 Cleary that means your most likely the complete opposite of tough.... and have taken D up the B unwillingly at one point in your life. lol

Hendricks wins and makes himself a marked man.

Posted by sedinfan on March 16, 2013 at 07:07 PM

Hendricks lands one good one to get the edge.

Hendricks snuck one in early in this short bout Win Hendricks

Posted by Leafs2006 on March 18, 2013 at 12:13 PM

Typical Jack edwards delusional commentating, makes it sounds like Horton hears a who wins this fight, when hendrix nailed him twice sproutuing a leak on hamburger head Horton. I would love to see Horton get concussed again just like the greatest hit i have ever seen in hockey the day nailed rome into 2013, 2 years ago. Boohoo Bruins fans, your horton loses here, in your face Edwards, you idiot

Posted by dontpokeTheBear on March 17, 2013 at 08:05 PM

Horty wins

Posted by Pug Face on March 16, 2013 at 09:26 PM

Hendricks with the pussy sucker punch..

Posted by pooleyacht on March 17, 2013 at 10:32 AM

Hendricks clearly jumps Horton off the draw, Horton still with his stick in his hands and gloves on until the very last millisecond. If you're gonna be honorable and square up with someone after your teammate gets his ass handed to him, do it in a respectable way, not cheap shot a dude who has a concussion history. Foreshadowing for the McQuaid beatdown. Nice job Hendricks, moron.

Posted by montrealSUCKS on March 16, 2013 at 04:09 PM

Draw, no fight.

Posted by MilburyKOMyKid on March 16, 2013 at 06:37 PM

Good job turning things around for your team by sneak attacking a goal scorer Hendricks! Golden-hearted as hell. Dumb person said "Marchand jumps a guy(non-fighter) and it's all good." Marchand's a non-fighter himself, he has 4 career fights idiot. Hendricks beat that in this half-season. Marchand is such a non-fighter big wuss Subban chose to fight him. Ribeiro is known for a big mouth that never backs it up and Marchand fought him for whining to the Ref.

Posted by DARCY T on March 17, 2013 at 06:24 AM

horton's 1st fight after concussion...draw

Posted by bdpetroni on March 16, 2013 at 07:35 PM

What a punk move here by Hendricks. Jumps Horton (a guy with a well-known concussion history) and he's on the ice before Horton can even get his other glove off. I really wish the refs hadn't jumped in to end this one. If they'd let Hendricks get up, Horton was ready to tear his head off. Hendricks then shows what a complete puss he is in the 3rd period by running away from Thornton, and jumping McQuaid instead. I wish these teams played a few more times this year, but luckily the Bruins will be able to settle this on April 27th. This act by Hendricks was very reminiscent of that douche Dale Weiss who tried to do the same thing last year after he squared off with Horton on January 7th. Hey Dale, learn the code: 4th line chumps don't get to fight 1st liners.

Posted by jhyde on March 18, 2013 at 12:23 PM

Embarrassing for Hendricks. Horton was asking him and asking him to go. Doesn't even respond to Horton or look up. Obviously terrified to square up with Horton. Hendricks knew he needed to fake like he didn't hear Horton's request so he could leap at him. Be a man next time Hendricks.

Posted by Sirmikeknight on March 16, 2013 at 03:38 PM

Absolute cheap shot by Hendricks... Then pulls Horton down to stop the fight? What a wuss. Pretty crappy fight IMO.

Posted by beergeekjoey on March 16, 2013 at 03:55 PM

don't get it. are we watching the same fight?? Horton got a flurry of shots to Hendricks face, bringing him to the ice, and the officials broke it up. Hendricks got up shaking his head to remove the cobwebs. this was clearly a win, but not a big one, for Horton.

Posted by dyerardi on March 18, 2013 at 07:29 AM

Why are people giving this one to Hendricks? This was a draw or you give it to the guy who at least won the wrestling match because not enough punches were landed either way. Horton's cut seems to have made may of you blind.

Posted by fernben8 on March 16, 2013 at 04:56 PM

Hendricks gets a jump start on Horton and opportunistically gets in the only quality punch (uppercut)...

Posted by Caps44 on April 25, 2013 at 12:32 PM

Narrow win for Hendricks, but the loss of blood must count for something in favor of Hendricks. It appears that Horton mentally lost control.

Posted by Ajaxechkin on March 18, 2013 at 01:34 PM

Drew blood, slipped on stick, and love the unbiased Boston announcers!

Posted by codemgr on March 17, 2013 at 08:22 AM

Short and sweet. Hendricks with the win here. I would have liked to have seen them get going. Oh well maybe next time.

Posted by kyhammer on March 17, 2013 at 02:07 AM

Sorry Bruin homers, this one goes to Hendricks.

Posted by endor on March 16, 2013 at 11:37 PM

Hendricks lands a good shot and then goes down. Horton wasn't done yet! C'mon Matt--man up and fight to the finish! You likely would've gotten your second ass-kickin' of the game!!

Posted by B-Bear on March 16, 2013 at 04:08 PM

Edge to Hendricks after jumping Horton, the refs should have let them go it would have been a different story.

Posted by mpagano22 on March 18, 2013 at 09:25 AM

Hendricks drew blood with a killer punch. Win Hendricks

Posted by sporr on March 17, 2013 at 01:01 PM

Great uppercut. Win Hendricks. Americas a-hole fans are out on force. Your guy got cut. This is a hockey fight not a WWE. Victory comes from punches landed not takedowns.

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on December 13, 2014 at 08:41 PM

Posted by nojjon on March 17, 2013 at 03:18 PM

Hendricks stepped on the stick and fell and Norton was very lucky that Hendricks did fall. Just before Hendricks fell he got a good shot on Norton that may be the one that cut him. Too bad Edwards is a homer when it comes to the fisticuffs.

Posted by eaglesrule3620 on August 30, 2013 at 12:07 PM

Hendricks with the warning to Marchand that if you go after one of ours, we'll go after one of yours. I love the Boston fans calling Hendy a pansy for jumping Horton, when Marchand jumped Ribeiro literally seconds before. It goes both ways guys. Doesn't make Hendy right, but it doesn't mean Marchand isn't a pansy b---- too.

Posted by legend22 on March 22, 2013 at 03:21 PM

not much going on here

Posted by chad420 on March 17, 2013 at 12:05 PM

This a hockey rink and not a bar....not a win for Big Bird... a cowardly way to go about it

Posted by Madhouse27 on March 16, 2013 at 04:37 PM

Though not the most skilled fighter out there, Horton has demonstrated a bit of a nasty streak. Today was the first game all season where he seemed to be involved physically, throwing some good body checks. Not sure if he's really been cleared to go all out but I sure hope so as that line was dominant. With a respectable square off by Hendricks, this could have been a really good fight.

Posted by Jlssg4 on March 16, 2013 at 03:23 PM

Hendricks got the drop on Horton. No doubt it would have been a different story if the refs had let Horton pick him back up. Short, crappy fight. Hate giving a win to someone in a 10 second fight, but edge to Hendricks.

Posted by bfox9 on March 17, 2013 at 02:15 AM

In what sense is that a cheap shot when Horton's gloves are off just as fast. They were going for each other to this point, Horton couldn't handle Hendricks even if they let him back at him. No points for takedowns, Horton... That shouldn't even count as a Gordie if he didn't land a punch in his "fight."

Not enough punches thrown, but Hendricks with the win.

Posted by mmadced on March 16, 2013 at 03:37 PM

hendricks clearly jumps horty in cheap move. horts never has a chance he will pay

Posted by rugby on March 16, 2013 at 06:24 PM

Not exactly a horrible goon show jumping that Bruins make it out to be. And you could argue Boston players have done the same many times over. Look back in time and you will see that Horton is kinda a crappy fighter. He even drew Dale Weise last year. Although he did have a 2007 upset win over Asham when he started throwing like your buddies special needs brother would when you teased him too much years ago. Think I would take AA in a rematch.

Posted by BruinsAllDaySon on March 16, 2013 at 03:43 PM

Hendricks saved by the refs - Horton was desparately trying to scrape this loser up off the ice and destroy him. Hendricks then turns down Thornton later in the game because he is a coward and then does some crazy jump toward McQuaid and got owned and also broke a knuckle in the process. That's called karma - have a nice flight home coward.

Posted by Bloodbank on March 16, 2013 at 06:04 PM

Hendricks with the clear win.

Posted by wannago_letsgo on March 16, 2013 at 04:01 PM

Fist time I watched it, I didn't notice Hendricks step on the stick so I'll give edwards the benefit of the doubt on that. I called it a draw, yeah Hendricks lands a few shots but, I dunno, too short I guess to call a clear winner. I do, however, think that Jack Edwards wants Horton to pick him up and do dirty things to him.

Posted by CrackMan on March 16, 2013 at 06:15 PM

Hendricks sacrifices balance for an uppercut but makes it count. He jumped the gun a bit, but Horton was squared up, jawing, and ready before Hendricks landed his three. Clear win Hendricks.

Posted by msktmj on March 16, 2013 at 04:20 PM

horton better put a bandaid on his eyebrow and ego,,,,another bruins lose,,,

Posted by tpr1960 on March 16, 2013 at 09:03 PM

Hendricks with the better shot, Horton shouldn't fight, he sucks at it ...oh and the Boston announcers are THE Worst, I think he s$cks the salt off their balls after games !!!!

Posted by kinga101 on March 16, 2013 at 05:17 PM

Hendricks with a couple of solid shots that cut Horton. Clear win for Hendricks. For those commenting on cheap shot by Hendricks must not have watched Marchand's sucker punch on Ribiero.

Posted by GreatMurray on March 18, 2013 at 01:22 PM

Horton takes two big ones because of Marchand's chicken chit move. Hendricks punches out a non-fighter with a concussion history. Way to go Brad you little puke!

Posted by SEMO_Yogi on March 16, 2013 at 07:25 PM

Two Hendricks wins in one day. That's a change. Crappy fight but not even close.

Posted by Bakes923 on March 16, 2013 at 04:22 PM

Horton not really a fighter, and it showed,Hendricks lands a big shot early, and thats all it took!!

Posted by SouthPaw017 on March 16, 2013 at 09:55 PM

Over way too quickly.... But anyway you look at it, Hendricks has to get the nod.

Posted by bruinsblow on March 16, 2013 at 10:17 PM

ALL hendricks, horton gets owned

Posted by crimedogg on March 16, 2013 at 03:48 PM

You Bruins fans amaze me. Marchand jumps a guy(non-fighter) and it's all good. Hendricks gets the jump on a willing participant and he's a punk

Posted by kkdowning on March 16, 2013 at 04:37 PM

The Bruins fans on this board are just short of Jackie Edwards -- who apparently saw Horton exhibit incredible feats of strength in his on mind. Clear win Hendricks -- which rarely happens.

Posted by normalnorm on March 16, 2013 at 04:13 PM

Maybe some of you should watch the gutless move by Marchand on Ribiero. There is a reason why Hendricks did this....should be more of it. I hate the dishonor in the NHL. Marchand is a goof that would never play on my team. I hate the Bruins and the Capitals for the record.

Posted by Custombreaks on March 16, 2013 at 05:52 PM

Horton got spanked again. Greg Campbells Daddys linesmen to Hortons rescue again. The Refs and B's shower together again.
