Matt Bradley's mom must have been the one who voted for him.

anyone can come up from behind someone who is not expecting it and sucker punch them. wait till the next matchup, bradley will get his. lets see if Mayers is willing to go toe to toe off the line

Mayers wins a lopsided sleeper.

Posted by DARCY T on November 04, 2011 at 07:05 PM

mayers was throwing like pistons.maybe 7 rights in 2 seconds-long-fight but i dont think his fist was nowhere near to bradley's head

Jamal doing an effective b-slap job on Bradley.

mayers gets the win in this fight.

Hate to break it to you Florida fans, but based on who Bradley has fought and who Mayers has fought (and either won or drawn with)...Bradley would get his ass kicked on a nightly basis by Mayers and I'm sure he'd be more than happy to go again off a draw.

Posted by mudman55 on November 05, 2011 at 07:04 AM

Mayers won, but what a joke...Clean hit (and not even that big of a hit) and he feels the need to go after the kid....Embarrassing.

Mayers wins a rather uneventful tilt

Posted by Behn Wilson on November 04, 2011 at 12:04 AM

Embarrassed by the hit, Mayers takes out his frustrations on, a surprisingly over matched, Bradley.

Posted by bruins34 on November 04, 2011 at 02:58 PM

More of a beat-down than a fight. Bradley looks completely unprepared and overwhelmed on this one. Although it was a nice hit!

Posted by shawn46 on November 04, 2011 at 11:42 AM

From what I could see it was all Mayers all the time.

Posted by kimo_coyote on November 03, 2011 at 09:25 PM

Jamal the "Wiley Old Veteran" cleaned his own mess. Didn't need Carcillo. The way hockey should be. You get a check you don't like, handle your own business. Jamal did.

Posted by fernben8 on November 04, 2011 at 12:09 AM

Jamal goes to work for himself... Nice to see him pissed off , " Don't you ever Fuc#!n hit me like that again ! " Quick bout, all Mayers - message sent.

All Mayers. And I have to give props when they are due; Nice work by the play by play. (all too often I think otherwise...)

Posted by bodgertime on November 04, 2011 at 12:34 PM

that was a catch-22

Posted by GreatMurray on November 04, 2011 at 03:18 PM

Bradley had to know Mayers was gonna drop the gloves. He got pummeled with little or no response.

Posted by Tork on November 04, 2011 at 12:36 PM

Mayers own his ass...hit like that is understandable

Posted by Puckmagnet on December 17, 2011 at 03:04 AM

All Mayers from start to finish. Bradley gets a point for hanging on, but you get the impression that he really wished he was somewhere else.

Big Hit leads to Big beating!!! Mayers smokes Bradley

Posted by DarkDisciple on November 04, 2011 at 10:58 AM

If Mayers can beat you up then you surely are a punching bag!

Posted by dleturno on November 04, 2011 at 09:40 AM

Maybe you should watch the game before deciding he beat a rain check into Bradley just for the hit. Bradley took a run at Frolik a minute before this so he paid the piper.

Mayers is a new player this year. Chicago suits him. Both hands going buzzsaw there

bradley didnt see this one coming, mayers and him should rematch off a faceoff or something

Posted by barnibizer on November 09, 2011 at 01:36 AM

IDIOTS...I logged in just to tell everyone Mayers is useless. All his fights are short lived and end up with a lack of balance. He never fights anyone tough. In this case, he didn't even land one punch. All he did was throw loads and make the fight reckless rather than good. Shame on the Hawks bringing in such lightweight rubbish. no punches were landed and rating 1.

2.3% are either Florida fans or don't know how to decide a hockey fight...

win Jam-On-It

Posted by dutchman on November 04, 2011 at 10:40 AM

seriously...who voted for bradley?

Posted by Dust601 on November 05, 2011 at 06:04 PM

He felt the need to go after the kid?? Bradley is 33 years old. Don't worry he's a big boy who just got put back in his place, but he'll be ok.

Posted by durka on November 07, 2011 at 02:45 PM

mayers always has these short fiery fights. love it personally.

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on November 05, 2011 at 07:36 AM

Good for Mayers, got a new lease of life as a hawk.

Posted by kkdowning on November 04, 2011 at 01:46 PM

Actually, Bradley WON't think twice about delivering another hit like that -- he will do it again in a second. Bradley lost the fight in everyone's eyes, but he did not bleed like a stuck pig, so that is a win in his book. Bradley will look to go again with Mayers, but off a face off and not with Carcillo sniffing up his b#tt.

Posted by TMcStudmuffin44 on February 05, 2012 at 11:27 AM

Mayers dominated lol... This other guy had no chance. Mayers delievered a lot of heavy ones

Posted by muskokadangler on November 04, 2011 at 05:00 AM

O ya Mayers Hey Mayers You should fight Derek "DORSETt" Ever been their ?????? LMAO

Posted by Riastlin on November 07, 2011 at 07:54 AM

Nice to see a hawk stick up for himself (even if the hit wasn't really all that bad imho). For too long the hawks have lacked guys that could stand up for themselves.
