Daley throws an uppercut and four hard rights that knock Rasmussen's helmet off just before Rasmussen is forced to respond with a right in order to get Daley to stop throwing for a moment. The two exchange short rights and then hold on until the linsemen eventually decide to come in. Zubov remains face down on the ice. McGrattan uses his reach to lock out Janssen, and Janssen is ducking away from McGrattan's punches as he attempts to get inside for each punch. They go back and forth, with a couple connecting until McGrattan lands a handful of consecutive rights to the back of Janssen's head. Janssen is able to respond with a couple of rights of his own and then a hard shot after McGrattan's lock loosens. They continue exchanging rights, with the time between each punch extended. Janssen is bouncing in his skates trying to wave off the linesmen, but they break up the fight after a pause in punching. McGrattan skates off bleeding from a cut under his left eye. | ||||

Asham throws two rights, one of them knocking Janssen's helmet off just before Janssen fires away with a right and shakes off his elbow pad. They exchange a few jersey-jabs and rights until they nearly lose their balance. The linesmen start to come in, but are quickly waved off by Janssen. They spend the rest of the fight going back and forth with rights, jabs, and uppercuts: Janssen getting the better of the exchange. Asham gets turned around and that signals that it's time for the linesmen to move in and end the scrap. | ||||

The grapple, Hales gets off a few rights, and then they grapple some more. Hollweg throws a few lefts and then they trade about a handful of occassional shots while wrestling. Hale presses Hollweg up against the boards and tosses a few rights that Hollweg avoids. Hollweg's able to toss Hale down from the momentum of his missed punch and the linesmen rush in as Hale gets up and the two jaw at each other before it's broken up for good. Janssen throws two more rights just before Cote goes back to the left and they start going toe-to-toe once again. They stop throwing for a moment and Cote throws a right. Cote switches hands for the second time and they go toe-to-toe for the third time. Janssen throws a left that comes up short and they grapple for a moment. Janssen gets his right free and throws three rights with the last one connecting on a bent over Cote who is struggling to get his arm out of his jersey.
