Rosehill abandons all of the hitting prowess
he showed in the Bruins game,
and resorts to tried, and true cheap shots
as his current modus operandi.

The Champ pummels him, and then over-retaliates at the end,
as Rosehill feigns hiding, only to try to sneak in a few surprise,
possum- lefts.

Rosehill trying to stir up the muck by going after Sid the Kid. Godard showed us all the reason he is on the Pens roster.

I have always loved Godard, especially in Calgary when he tuned in Boogaard, but what was with the end. He drove his face in to the ice, which opened him up not the punch. Have to call it a draw, can't give him credit for the crap at the end.

Man, I just love the way Godard does his job...
Went a little over the code but neccessary ++ as to say "mess with Sid and falling to the ice won't even save you"! Kinda sent a message to the whole league that the Kid will Not be messed with.
That was one heck of a forearm to drive JR's head to the ice.
JR... I have good news and bad news for ya.
The good news is.....lol. The bad news is you did it when Godard was on...
(sorry, couldn't resist)

They should make a rule that if a first place team gets a 4 goal lead on a last place team then the first place team has to play the 3rd with brooms. Then the final score of this one would have been 8-0 and not as many cheap shots.

I liked it all except the 2 cheapshots at the end!!! Rosehill came back Nicely but Godard still gets the win!!!!

i love godard but there is no excuse, none, for those last two shots. not who rosehill checked, not what komisarek did earlier, nothing, that was classless. rosehill did get some nice shots in, but godard landed a couple more. tainted win for the home team.

crashandbang, i see where you are coming from, but its not the same game. twenty guys don't score 150 points in a year now, and ten don't find the twine 50 times. the times have changed. like the rest of the world, in every industry, 'safety' has skyrocketed. nor is it a drunken street fight, mutual respect seems to be a common theme between these nhl scrappers nowadays. sorry to be an idiot.

Godard with the clear win. Had Rosehill got into the open earlier it would have been uglier. Best part was Godard tossing the gloves down 10' from Rosehill. This was a pure I will make you remember this night by Godard. Nice job!

I'm not a Rosehill fan but I'll give him the win for making it through the 'don't-touch-Cindy' gang tackle to even get open for Godard and then the remaining alert enough to sneak in a couple of hits late before Godard throws him down in anger and administers the cheapshots.

Nice job by Godard, doing what he is paid to do. It was all Godard although Rosehill had some good shots and probably better of the punches. Judging the fight it's a draw in my opinion, but Godard won the war.
