A face push is not a punch.

Posted by wannago on November 06, 2010 at 04:22 PM

2 minutes each for throwing airballs... at least Parros didn't fall down first

Posted by EDDUBBS on November 06, 2010 at 12:35 PM

Draw. No punch. It seems that the left hand of Parros went into the face area of Engelland.

Posted by Ottenator on November 06, 2010 at 09:27 AM

Parros misses with a right, and they fall to the ice. DRAW...the should have gotten minors for roughing, imo.

Posted by bruin1160 on November 06, 2010 at 12:28 PM

I thought Jack Edwards was a joke....These two no better. Parros might have landed one when Engelland fell, nothing else.

Posted by rags1965 on November 06, 2010 at 02:40 PM

NO FIGHT!!! No punches landed.

Posted by tmac112481 on November 06, 2010 at 02:42 PM

even tho the engelland haters want to say he lost, sorry no punches landed. He will loose at some point, but he did not loose this one. Sorry philly idiots

Posted by KO22 on November 06, 2010 at 07:25 AM

Draw, Engelland lost his balance. Fight was over before it started.

Posted by RV_camper on November 06, 2010 at 09:02 PM

Crappy draw...neither guy got in any shots. Draw

Posted by JPD252 on November 06, 2010 at 11:57 AM

It's not hockeywrestling Shouldn't even count as a fight. Just because I guy gets grabbed and loses his balance doesn't mean they win the fight. Neither win.. That's George Laraque's fights were always skewed. Rarely punched just threw the guy to the ice.

Posted by Leafs2006 on November 06, 2010 at 09:31 PM

Destruction there....ah well, ya cant win em all

Posted by ahartnack on November 06, 2010 at 01:24 PM

' Come on, folks. Throwing punches and NOT CONNECTING does not mean the guy thrwing the punches won. No harm, but foul by both players getting 5 minutes for nothing. DRAW. '

Posted by bruiseyoureye on November 06, 2010 at 01:17 AM

complete bunk fight......draw....nothing landed at all.

Posted by shawn46 on November 06, 2010 at 06:03 PM

When I 1st saw this on tv I said wow Engelland got cracked quick?.... then I I saw it again (and about 6 more times) and then wondered.... How was this called a fight??..... Made it look like a knock down but was really a full and fall... hoped they would round two it later ... but nope...

Posted by Boone2511 on December 29, 2010 at 03:31 PM

A fall down barely a fighting major..draw

Posted by guru71 on December 28, 2010 at 04:46 PM

Crap fight, better yet, no fight at all. Nothing landed, just loss of balance and a push. Draw.

Posted by ThrowdownSJ408 on November 06, 2010 at 02:42 PM

draw, nothing happened

Posted by bmoses on November 06, 2010 at 09:32 AM

Fourlokos - a clear lose??? First of all, it's a loss. Second, you can't call a crap fight like this as a clear anything. When no real punches land, it is a clear draw in my book. This was a waste of video, really. Too bad - it would have been nice to see them scrap it out.

Posted by Chet the Jet on November 08, 2010 at 11:50 AM

DRAW. Nothing landed - move on...

Posted by knucklebump on November 06, 2010 at 11:54 AM

Parros is nothing without the stache.

Posted by yngblonde1 on November 06, 2010 at 09:02 AM

NO punches landed. The much bigger Parros lost his balance and pulled the little guy under him as he was falling. Kind of like Jack and the bean stock.. Not 1 punch landed..The officials should have let it go after Engelland popped up from under the giant ready to go for real.....100% draw/crap

Posted by fernben8 on November 07, 2010 at 02:07 PM

Nothing landed...but a leather face cloth. No winner here. Weak draw.

Posted by Donm8r on November 06, 2010 at 02:00 PM

Draw. Nothing here unless you call a face wash a punch. Props to Eng for not avoiding anybody regardless of who and how big they are.

Posted by igotgiddyup on November 06, 2010 at 12:55 AM

suck fight. what a disappointment. Draw. No punches landed for either guy.

Engelland lost his balance dodging Georges right. Nothing landed. Draw.

Posted by um0k1e on November 06, 2010 at 04:27 AM

Hey guys I'm new to this whole fighting thing. When George Parros loses his footing going for that swing and grabs Engelland's jersey and pulls him down below him before he can fall, that means Parros wins right?

Posted by Beej13 on December 27, 2010 at 02:04 AM

No winners here...because there was no fight. Engelland got his foot tangled with Parros' big clodhopper and fell down. No punches even thrown...just a shove from Parros. The only losers would be the people who watched this and actually voted Parros a winner. No punches landed = draw.

Posted by hockeyfighter20 on November 06, 2010 at 06:04 PM

parros did NOT land that punch.. hes lucky it ended quickly.. otherwise i see engelland smearing georges moustache all over the ice

Posted by DARCY T on November 06, 2010 at 12:49 PM

Posted by Juha82 on November 06, 2010 at 03:32 AM

Bad DRAW here Parross shot doesnt land even well to the mark and he gets the takedown, pushing Engelland to the ice.

Posted by Behn Wilson on November 06, 2010 at 08:15 PM

You turn your back for 2 days... and it looks like I missed all kinds of crap. For the car's rad decisively lost a battle with a porcupine. Nothing fight...slip, and a face shove, ... 2 bits.

Posted by staceyb on November 06, 2010 at 07:41 AM

Parros minus the 'stache must have breathed too heavily to push Engelland down. There was no contact made. Sid the Kid was going to go with Getzlaf at one point in the game but he thought the better of it.

Posted by twisterella on November 06, 2010 at 04:51 PM

big right didn't even land

Posted by leeban on November 14, 2010 at 05:26 PM

How anyone can rate Parros a win here ??? Too many 12 yr olds on this site. You have to actually thow punches to win a fight guys !!! DRAW.

Posted by dracutdad on November 06, 2010 at 01:41 PM

Both big and tough but horrible result, waiting for the day Milan Lucic gets to go with either one of these 2 clowns

Posted by SCOTTSO on November 06, 2010 at 12:33 AM

looked 3 times cant tell what happened, tend to think it was a trip, either way engelland's ascension to the heavyweight title will have to wait

Posted by Truk on November 06, 2010 at 01:57 PM

Parros was ready for him. Looks like Engelland decided to bail.

Posted by slavv on November 06, 2010 at 06:02 PM

Parros threw a right but hard to tell if it connected. Parros put his left hand in Engelland's grill and kinda bulled him to the ice. I expect their next meeting to be much better...

Posted by TonyDanza on November 06, 2010 at 10:03 AM

It looked like Engelland got lucky by losing his balance because he definitely cannot handle Parros

Posted by Mikkel H. on November 07, 2010 at 03:26 AM

Engelland gets dropped and Asham thinks its funny ..

Posted by kryon24 on November 06, 2010 at 11:07 PM

Wow the dancing Giraffe throws the only punches and then does the usual cartoon fall down, Narrow win to that new guy the Dorks got only because he threw the only punches. He seems to do better minus the Stache but how the hell could anyone recognize him.

Posted by MrDigitaL on November 06, 2010 at 01:15 PM

Engelland could of challenged Parros again. I think he realized that wouldn't be a good idea.

Posted by nycbob on November 06, 2010 at 09:43 AM

Engelland is a beating waiting to happen. He's got lucky against sloppy Orr and over the hill shelly. Boogyman is waiting in NYC.

Posted by Lucic Rules on November 06, 2010 at 08:59 AM

Parros the one punch wonder

Posted by EastKing on November 06, 2010 at 03:37 AM

I'm surprised about this result. Parros was actually the one who kept his balance. Engelland wasn't able to get going either. Parros win.

Posted by T800m101 on November 06, 2010 at 10:56 AM

Win Parros.

Posted by SOCALFAN on November 07, 2010 at 12:21 PM

Yes the right did actually land and Deryk dropped.

Posted by BigRob1 on November 06, 2010 at 02:02 PM

The ducks feed of the fight shows the punch DOES land, altho not a powerful punch. Win Parros.

Posted by bruins rule on November 06, 2010 at 07:39 AM

parros with the quick win.

Posted by pepsigenerate on November 06, 2010 at 11:20 PM

As Parros caught engelland with a surprise left that stunned and dropped engelland to the ice(juss like the Parros and McGrattan fight),and engelland tried to make himself look good after he was down by trying to get on top of Parros.engelland looked like he was in pain when looking at the ref in the end of this video......Parros with the win.

Posted by 2forroughing on November 06, 2010 at 05:19 PM

The anti-Duck bias is more than obvious. If it would have been the other way around, the posts would have read, Parros gets knocked down again. Parros clearly won this bout. It was a face smash, with follow through that knocked Engelland down. Was it a "knock down", no, but it was a clear win.

Posted by Caps44 on November 08, 2010 at 10:27 PM

Looked more like a 'slip & fall" instead of a knockdown. Nevertheless, Parros looked like he won this short match

Posted by mactee on November 08, 2010 at 12:08 PM

The other guy has to throw at least one punch to call it a draw, Bad fight but technically Parros was the busier fighter. I guess......

Posted by tattooedkingpin on November 06, 2010 at 01:31 PM

WOW. Parros actually looked GOOD in a fight. holy shit. W Parros

Posted by rocky 1 on November 14, 2010 at 12:35 AM

TKO for Parros in this one !Welcome to the heavies Deryk!

Posted by mavrck22 on November 06, 2010 at 09:52 PM

KO...PLAIN AND SIMPLE....Parros dropped Little Engelland with one punch...not sure why you Penguin lovers are trying to call it a in fantasy land trying to pretend little Engellund is a top ten fighter....he may be a top 10 middleweight but thats about it....did you see him when he was fighting Shelly? You guys were all over saying how great Engellund was but if you look at the fight close Engellund was doing everything he could to stay as far away from Shelly as possible and then land sniper shots....that aint how a guy that has confidence fights....if he went toe to toe with Shekky he would have got pounded.....he got dropped with one punch by up Penguins...your not the FLYERS and wont ever be....LMAO....OMG....just watched it again...Engellund took a FULL face shot from Parros left hand.....flat out TKO...I love

Posted by Darkstone42 on February 03, 2011 at 01:39 PM

It looks like Engelland just lost his balance.

Posted by hkhk on November 06, 2010 at 12:36 AM

Engelland ends up on top, no punches landed by either guy, Engellend slight edge.

Posted by gmr133 on November 07, 2010 at 01:10 PM

What are you people voting on? Parros tries to throw one punch and they both fall down. No fight here, even the Penguins announcers realize after a minute Parros didn't connect with anything. Draw.

Posted by biglite351 on November 24, 2010 at 08:51 AM

Engelland never got his footing. You can see that even when Parros threw the punch Engelland's feet were off to the side. Parros is actually a respectful fighter which is why he stopped throwing, but he was ready to keep going because he knew it was a balance thing, not a KO..

Posted by hossasux1 on November 06, 2010 at 12:30 AM

Engelland falls ducking the right. Can you even consider that a fight?

Posted by piney on November 08, 2010 at 02:11 PM

Parros got the jump but did nothing. draw, crap fight.

Posted by 5fourfighting on November 06, 2010 at 07:28 PM

draw here as it didnt get past the gloves off

Posted by Mounty in NC on January 13, 2014 at 05:57 PM

Parros never landed a was a push from GP and DE fell down. Not even a fight. Both players should have gotten 2 min minor for roughing

Posted by buzzgun2000 on November 06, 2010 at 10:37 AM

Draw. Neither landed a thing and Engelland lost his balance. I also thought that the officials should have let them continue once Engelland got back on his feet.

Posted by PensRule on November 07, 2010 at 03:19 PM

Parros grabbed and pulled him down cause he knew he was gonna get it after he missed with the right

Posted by Oil Can Henry on November 06, 2010 at 02:57 AM

Parros took care o' him, pretty quick -- but, since Engelland's a Pen, he gets the W, right?,...isn't that how it goes, here?

Posted by Nelstorm on November 09, 2010 at 05:49 PM

Started dancing. No connections. Engelland fell. Parros wins, it's just not exactly decisive in any way that says that Engelland is the worse fighter.

Posted by flanagon on November 06, 2010 at 08:15 PM

@hockeyfighter20 I guses you didn't watch the fight very close the STACHE has been shaved

Posted by TrueBlue26 on November 06, 2010 at 11:30 AM

Parros...miss ya stashe!

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on November 06, 2010 at 07:00 AM

Parros with the win, all be it a crappy one. Did'nt give Engelland a chance to fire, one jab then a little jersey jab and that's your lot. Smart victory for GP.

Posted by fourlokos on November 06, 2010 at 12:32 AM

Not much of a fight. One hit by Parros (that doesn't even look like it landed). However, for win/lose purposes, it was a clear lose for Engelland.
