That was pretty entertaining, but whatever edge Leblond may have gained
at the very end, became completely negated by the cheapness of the
uncalled-for, ground-punching that followed.
Karmic draw.

My 2 cents... lose two names, show more respect for the code,
and your fellow tough guys...and you may just stick around for awhile
as Jerseys' official heavyweight.

Chico Resch labeled both combatants as "light-heavyweights" which is true for Asham but P-L L-L is up there in the heavyweight bracket--look at who he fights. And it is a glaring reason why the Flyers need to sign Derek Boogaard as a UFA in the off-season. They really don't have anyone except Cote to match up in the heavyweight division and he's a punching bag.

Good bout..
Asham didn't seem to have his A game...but still good enough for a draw.
PLLL throws while Asham was down...I know for a fact that had the roles been reversed , that the classy Asham would not have done the same.

A good match. I think Chico was on target... PL3 may be a little bigger than Asham and may fight some more heavyweights, but he only wins against inconsistent ones. They are both light-heavies who fight and usually lose to legitmate contenders.
Asham's offensive spark through most of this fight offsets his frequent ducking and his eventually being pulled down to make this a draw.

PLLL controlled the fight and got the better of Asham. The punches on the ground were BS.

What was with Asham? He gave the guy the stick 4 times while skating away and took forever to drop the gloves. Win PLLL.

I'm calling it a draw because it was even up until the point when Asham went down and Leblond landed a few solid punches, which lacked class.
It looked a little like the boxing match on Saturday night that ended when the one boxer (Abraham?) clocked the other guy when he slipped to one knee.

Asham looked tired from the start. Lleblond with much more will and energy took this fight...

Asham just ended up looking like a punk. Also, 53 seconds into the video you can hear the commentator fart.

who ever votes that Leblond won needs glasses. At best a draw since it never really went anywhere.

PL3 with an easy win. Asham didn't look like he stood a chance.
