Thornton makes the most
of the lethal combination of a superior grip, and good aggression,
to effectively tune a surprised, and frustrated Walker.

Walker was out of it from the get-go.

Other than one big punch, it was more of a love in. Walker wins two in a row, it is about time as the big bad Bruins have had a tough time winning fights this year. It is time that Chara tuned someone in and got them going again.

Walker has to change his set up. It's obvious he likes to set up the big right and is becoming too telegraphic with it. Thornton's rights are shorter and just as powerful..doesn't have to travel the long distance like Walker's, who sets his right from way behind.
Edge to Thornton.

Have to agree with BW. Thornton's total lock out of Walker's right and timely counterpunches won him this fight.
I wouldn't say Thornton was all that aggressive past the initial few punches though. Walker was more agressive for the final 2/3 of the fight but just didn't look it thanks to Thorntons lock-down.

Shawn Thornton is always entertaining: I thought Walker would fare better, but Thornton controlled the entire bout.

Thornton handles Walker, especially that one punch he caught Walker on that pretty much sealed the deal on this one.

Walker is no slouch, but thornton has the upper-hand here.

Downie is a puke, He plays like a piece of trash! But unfortunately he scores some goals too so that's why he stays. Although I hope he somehow gets banished to the ahl eventually. Someone should have injured him in this game. I just depise players like Downie in general even if he was on my team!! When he did that stupid crap with Satan, the Bruins scored on that following power-play, guys like him will cost their team many more power-play goals too!

Before watching the video I imagined that this would be close. I was wrong-again! Thornton's classic hold on Walker's jersey negated any chance that Walker had of being aggressive-as my buddy Behn pointed out first. Nice showing for the only Bruin that I can tolerate.

Win Thornton. Imagine if he was like 2 inches taller and 15-20 pounds bigger.

Thornton did very well here against the taller fighter in Walker. He landed a couple nice punches, including one that wobbled Walker...Win Thornton.
