100% Thornton win here, watched it on NHL Package. You could see the experience, the switching of hands, the intensity. Jackman is a gamer, but didnt fare well here.

Seriously mcb NEEDS to be banned... this jack-off embarrasses himself every-friggin-time he comments on a Bruins fight... memo to mcb: You clueless inbred, every shred of credibility you might have regarding a fight a Bruin ACTUALLY does lose is completely destroyed when you write such assinine, childish nonsense up!...how can you say that Thorton lost this????

Shawn Thornton is a very good and honest fighter who knows what he is doing. Tim Jackman is not a fighter and is doing what earns him an NHL paycheque. That was evident from the result.

The only drawback for Thornton is stepping up that 3 -4 inches and 25+ pounds to go with the Godards etc of the league. That seems to be tough to do and be successful all the time (yet Domi seemed to), and really is what a great scrapper like Rypien would need to do just to drop them with Thornton. Fighting on the ice and balance aside, there is a reason they have weight classes in boxing - expecting guys to be successful going 20 pounds above their weight class is not an easy thing to do.

Great fight.......no doubt Thorton is good but is it me or has anyone else noticed that he picks his spots to drop them.........Most of his fights is where he just jumps on the ice and is fresh and the other player is at the end of a hard shift and is winded.................that was the case in this fight,I was at the game and like I said there is no doubt he is good.I have to say I like Jackman,he can drop them and will drop them with anyone..........the difference is that he is a really good hockey player and contributes on the ice..............reminds me of Clarkeson on the Devils.
