Jan 22, 2004 Nashville Predators Jordin Tootoo
3pd 15:29 Calgary Flames Jarome Iginla
Tootoo comes out of the penalty box and immediately levels a Flame with an open-ice check. Iginla challenges Tootoo and they throw the gloves off and immediately tie up with Iginla getting Tootoo bent over, but can't take advantage. Tootoo straightens up and throws three lefts with the last one landing flush to Iginla's jaw. Iginla comes back with three rights that land to the back of Tootoo's head. Tootoo twists Iginla around and as Iginla falls Tootoo lands a hard right that pisses Iginla off big-time. Iginla was bleeding, not sure if it was from a punch or if his head hit the ice.

I don't like either of these guys, but would probably love them if they played on my fave. Tootoo makes a good clean hit on a Flame to which Iggy over reacts to. Pretty good scrap while it lasted, but Tootoo is a punk for taking that big swing with Iggy on his back. Some will think he deserves it because he is always hiding behind the mask. Tootoo wins here.

BS that cut is a result off tootoo punching while iggi was down. low.

Tell me exactly when Iggy was supposed to lose his lid. Tootoo (as he usually does to get an advantage) started swinging before Iginla even knew there was going to be a fight.

I guess you guys who are crying about a hit on the way down obviously have great control of yourselves. Anyone whose ever been in a fight understand that you don't just turn it off because someone goes down. Hell that's when you warm his jacket up!!!

tootoo only landed one punch and it was a cheapshot...draw

Iginla is a punk. He always fights guys while hiding behind his visor and this was no exception. I'm not exactly Tootoo's biggest fan but frankly if I was him I'm have hit him while he was down too to give him the incentive he needs to get some balls and drop the lid.

Tootoo gets the jump but Iginla still gets the upper-hand and caves his head in a few times. Tootoo can't take it and bails, then lands a cheapshot. Iginla still wins decisively.

Inginla jumps Tootoo and gets bloodied for his effort. Tootoo shows just how strong he is.

There were words before this fight even started, so to say Tootoo "took advantage" is BS. Iggy did the talking, and both dropped gloves at the same time

Iggy got a few shots to the back of the head/helmet, but Tootoo got a solid shot in before Iggy hit the ground, and after.

Win for Toots.

Tooto is a low life. Way to go hit the guys when he is down on the ice.

Not a cool cheapshot near the end.
Typical Tootoo.
