I didn't know Mitchell had that in him. He handled himself quite well. Iginla can handle handle himself when needed.

I have to agree with a few of the posters thoughts on Iggy throwing down when they were already down and the refs were coming in. Mitchell beat him in the beginning and let off when they both went to the ice. Lame fight by Iggy and shows that he can't fight with honor.

Win to Mitchell. Guys wearing visors will never win fights in my book.

I thought that Iginla gave Mitchell some cheap shots while Mitchell was down. Mitchell did better then I thought he would though.

this fight was close but in terms of actual fight (when they were on their feet) i would have to give it to mitchell for getting the jersey over iginla's head
once they were down and iginla got back up it was time to stop the fight
little bit of a coward move to punch mitchell in the back
but good scrap

Although i absolutely hate the canucks i give it to Mitchell because i think he won the fight standing up. Iginla lost points for me when he started hitting him when mitchell was on his knees.

Unless you include the cheap shots by Iginla when Mitchell's down on his knees, then Mitchell clearly wins this fight. There's a big difference between hitting someone with his jersey over his head, and hitting someone when he's down on the ice. Give me a break, guys. Very good fight.

1) Iginla skated to Mitchell and picked the fight.
2) Both were at the end of shifts and were tired. Tough time to fight.
3) Mitchell took it to him early and got the helmet/visor off.
4) Iginla landed his punches after both had fallen to ice, he got up first and had the upper hand - the ref didn't step in.
5) Mitchell battles hard and so does Iginla. Have to respect both players - they pick there times to drop the gloves and pick respectable opponents. Both players looking to spark their teams early in that important game - old fashion hockey. Nod to Mitchell.

Geez! Some people here should get in line to give Iginla a b.j. Or have you done that already? Iginla was getting smacked around by Mitchell, don't kid yourself. Iginla always eager to throw with that visor on. I'm glad Mitchell did well. Someone stated that they hated Iginla, I feel ya bro. I have no respect for him. Everytime I see him, I remember him getting dropped twice by Francois Beauchmin. He was man enough to drop his helmit on that one. I wonder what would happen if he did it everytime. "GO IGGY" Do you see why I said the b.j. thing? P.S. I ain't no Canucks fan, but I like the Flames even less. WHAAAAAAAA! MY team is a bunch of tough guys with visors. WHAAAAA! They also have Vaginas!WHAAAAA!!!!!

Iginla is a punk. Always has been. I watched him in junior and he is a frigin crybaby, I'm glad Willie tuned him up.

How did Iginla win. Half you guys pick the winner based on who lands on the ice second. Iginla was dominated that who fight, he had his jersey over his heaad getting pounded. When they both fell to the ice, iginla got up and tried to hit Mitchell when he was ont he ice, and yet, he stil didnt land any shots. I call it a draw, but if i had to pick one, Mitchell gets the nod for landing 3 clean shots, to maybe 1 by iginla.

Surprisingly, Mitchell did quite well and was taking to Jerome. But Iginla pounded him at the end when the officials were late to intervene.

A close one but i give the win to Iginla,
