Ryane Clowe vs Jordin Tootoo

The next time Tootoo suckerpunches a guy, he should make sure he hits him harder, then maybe he won't get beat down so bad...

Clowe gotsucker punched...turned around and dropped tootoo like a kid playing cowboys and indians.

Can't stand Tootoo...love to see him get his ass handed to him, especially after he ambushed Clowe...what a snake !!!!!!!

boyecew39 - Tootoo fights for himself? I dont think you saw the video then as he clearly came in to protect Hartnell, his teammate. Yeah that was a crappy showing by Tootoo and he's not their enforcer as that is Hordi's job, but get your facts straight

1) Clowe ignores the fact that #1 Tootoo is lined up on him at the face off, and #2 that Grier is already trying to start the fight
2) When he reaches Hartnell he already has his gloves off, they spin around. Tootoo takes WAY too long to figure out that Clowe isnt going to fight him and that he just went after Hartnell
3) Tootoo climbs all over Clowe like a little kid and Hartnell tries to hold one of Clowe's arms for Tootoo (until Grier takes care of that).
4) Tooto gets in the first shots and starts doing a Merton Hanks impression to hide his chin (Former Safety of the SF 49ers that used to do a chicken dance celebration that included jerking his head up and down violently)
5) Clowe takes control and hits Tootoo so hard that his help just pops off
6) Tootoo is visibly aware now that he is in deep S***, and he squirms desperately to get in closer. Clowe is so strong that he holds him off and stumbles a bit to his knees before getting up again to engage.
7) Clowe starts hammering Tootoo in the chest, the first one puts Tootoo on one knee, the second one hits Tootoo square in the arm-pit as Tootoo twists to try and get out of the way.
End of fight-

Clowe then speeds off to try and get some more until the Ref grabs him. Tootoo gets up off the ice and spins around in a circle (obviously pretending he is fine) but then gives up too quickly - if you look at his face, his entire mouth is full of blood- red lips and teeth.

Its actually a good thing Clowe stopped swinging, otherwise "toots" would of been carried off on a stretcher.
Fight was not even close.

My only question is why was Hartnell on the ice with a minute left and a 5-2 lead? Here's why, because Barry Trotz is the biggest dumbass in the NHL--- this will be the only win for Nashville for the rest of this year.

the hobbit needs to ixnay the sucker punches, come on. clowe tattooed him with two huge shots. tootoo needs to tone it down and use his head for something other than a punching bag. he's barely 5'8, i don't care how tough he is, a great little man can't beat a good big man. fight law #1.

I'm not a fan of either team but you people ripping on Tootoo for throwing a sucker punch need to watch the video again. Clowe and Grier both were going after Hartnell 2 on 1, that is the cheap sh**. Was tootoo supposed to let his teammate get his ass kicked? he tried pulling the much bigger guy off unsuccessfully while Clowe continued with grier to throw punches. He did what needed to be done to help his teammate, as Clowe and grier did what they needed to do. This is what playoff hockey and being a teammate is all about. Good passion by both teams, but I must say grier didn't seem so tough 1 on 1.

Nice to see the midget get what he deserves!! He tried his usual cheap shot, only this time he picked the wrong guy!

Tootoo needed to get his clock rocked, biggest cheap shot artist in the league.
