Asham would have rather gone with Steve Downie, who registered a cheap hit on Timonen earlier that set the tempo for the game. The Flyers just wanted to kill Downie but he ended up scoring the game-tying goal toward the close. Turnabout is fair play, eh?

asham cleaned the much bigger chezks clock.and chl 37 your big rookie had 9 fights this year and is almost 5"taller then asham.If the big chezk cant take the heat he can go play in the russian leauge or the chezk republic were hitting is every other week.

If you watch closely not alot of punches landed, but Asham did land a few so i give it to him.

Smolenak did ok in his first NHL fight. Asham is no pug and takes the win but I like Smolenak for what he brings to the Lightning. What a great game overall, it had a bit of everything.
