When first I went a sea-apprentice bound
I sailed the salt seas all 'round and 'round
I scarce had sailed a voyage but one
When I fell in love with my charming Anne

I went to my captain both stout and bold
And unto him my secret told
I love yon lass as I love my life
What would I give if she were my wife?

Well, the captain said, 'You're a foolish boy
For to court a girl that you'll ne'er enjoy
For she'll have lovers while you're at sea
And she'll be married e're you'll be free'

Well, I don't know but I'll go and try
For she might fancy an apprentice boy
And she might alter her mind for me
And wait on me until I be free

Well, I bought her ribbons, I bought her gloves
These things to prove of a heart that loves
She accepted all and she was not shy
And she vowed to wait for her apprentice boy

When my ship is anchored and my work is over
I'll steer my barque for sweet Erin's shore
In my native country, my love I'll enjoy
And she'll welcome home her apprentice boy

So come all you sea-apprentices where e'er you be
Never slight your true love while you're at sea
Just love her as you love your life
And she'll consent to become your wife..............................

This makes more sense than what a lot of people say on here.

at the start of this game when they were introducing players i looked over at my little brother and said "when did we sign may?" he said "i dont know but at least we know there will be blood." not to bad for an old man.

clear win may. welcome to detroit.

I am very pleased the Red Wings put May in the line-up and sent Abdelkader to Grand Rapids, one more season and Justin will be in the bigs full-time but for now it is crucial to have a tough veteran enforcer who will lead in the locker room and keep order on the ice ... welcome to Detroit Brad May!

How clueless is Mickey Redmond? May's helmet was broken. It needed fixing. He's talking about blood and brawls when he played like he was a tough guy. He wasn't. How can May bleed when he was only hit once, in the nose, and it wasn't bleeding?

Win for May. To the people who are putting words into Mickey Redmond's mouth, listen to the words spoken again before you comment, ****ing retards.

That young kid can take a punch, May taughtthis future tough guy a lesson, he should be honored to fight May. Good bout.

The Red Wings finally got a man in the lineup who's willing to drop the gloves. May won the fight in a good bout. He looked good handling Smolenak. I hope Detriot keeps fighting this season and join the rest of the league. Win to The Red Wings May.

May wins. Don't know what started it, but May took care of it. I hope they let May into the regular line-up a lot more than they did Downey, who the Wings treated like crap.

May is a master. Love how he was laughing afterwards.

WIN May. He's really the only one that provided any offense as Smolenak only threw 2 rights that didn't do any damage.
