Never got going, but the takedown seemed decisive. Draw.

No punches thrown. Buff pushed Thornton into the boards and flips him on his back. This shouldn't have been fighting majors. I can understand calling this a draw because it wasn't really a fight. I can't understand how 41.7% of the voters think Thornton won this non-fight. I guess the Chowds have drunk the announcers koolaid. Whatever happen to intellectual honesty? Oh wait, you have to have the intellectual part of that equation.

a glove to a teamates face by Byfuglien must have set Thornton off. Thornton comes in the scrum, the 2 immediatly emerge, gloves off. Alot of wrestling, Thornton the aggressor, not sure Byfuglien wanted any of this at all, knows he is severly outmatched. Byfugliens size and strenght only thing that kept this from punches being exchanged. Both go down, not much else.....my gut says draw, but possibly Thornton for the aggression.

The best thing that Byfuglien did was throw him to the ice.....Thornton was getting ready to teach him a lesson.......I call it a draw!!

Thornton got an instigator penalty out of this. I never have agreed with this penalty. I think it was made for television in a P C world.
The fight was short and good with Thornton the agressor-not instigator over a game Byfuglien by not much emerging from a scrum in front of the net.. They wound up along the boards before it was broken up. Slight edge to Thornton.

for those of you that rated this anything other than a draw, you need to explain why when not a punch was thrown. This shouldnt have even made it on the website. For all of you who cant stand the play-by-play by Edwards, consider yourself lucky you only hear him on the fights, Bruins fans have to put up with this dope every game. If it werent for Andy Brickley I'd turn the sound off.

Not even a fight. If Buff would have opened up, Thornton probably would have beat him up pretty good.

Draw in a wrestling match. Thronton giving up some size here. Things never really get going.

Hey DuckHawk! Severly overmatched?!? Take off the homer goggles and put down the crackpipe.

Not much of a fight but big Buff slammed him like a ragdoll. How could anyone vote for Thornton????

Not sure who the announcer was talking about "A couple of guys who can really throw down", with Byfuglien having all of 2 NHl fights up to this one.

I guess Thornton said something earlier in the day about going after Buff, according to the Hawks announcer.

If Thornton really wanted to go with somebody, he could've found Matt Walker or somethng. This was pretty bad.

Byfuglien wanted no part of this,he didn't even attempt to throw a punch.why was this even a fighting major?

A sissy wrestling match. Neither one of them should have been penalized as this was not a fight as much as it was a cheesy WWE bout.
