Ott wins. Amazed that Iginla came out from behind the visor and didn't try to jump someone.

NBA? What are you talking about guy? Peters knocks his lid off any time his opponents comes off, Iginla has ewvery ability to do the same. My question to you is have you played hockey or do you just watch the NHL and NBA because knocking your lid off is one of the easiest parts of the game, especially when fighting and it;'s fogging up.. YOUR dumb !

Ott showed an incredible lack of class in his attempt to pummel Iginla after Iggie lost his footing. Judging by the 96 percent win by Iggie last time these two went in '04, it may have been the only way that Ott would have gotten a shot in. It seems certain that Ott will pay for this cheap act down the road. Somebody on the Flames and maybe Iggie himself will be feeding Ott some serious fist in the future.

As Iginla did against Jovo, he took off the lid against Ott. I suspect those who harp against Iggie for fighting with a visor either have never played the game or lack a fundamental understanding on how quickly these dustups occur. Perhaps they should go back to watching the NBA where their true expertise lies.

Hey leave ott alone if he didn't play who would we get to see get beat up on a weekly basis.....seriously does the guy ever win a fight that he doesn't do something stupid......basically a human punching bag for tough guys to practice on....i say WAR to ott fighting more...

I hate those cheap shots at the end. Look for retaliation next time they meet

Nice square-off to start, removal of the gear, Iginla lost his balance, might have ended differently had he stayed up. Everyone jumped on Jerome so hard after his last fight with Moen for not taking off his visor. Iginla is typically very good about his fight etiquette. I'm not a Flames fan, but I would love to have a captain like Iggy. I doubt there are any other captains in the league that will dance with heavyweights with the frequency OR the success as Jerome. Much respect.

Classless Ott...

You cannot give Ott the win! His punk move of hitting Iginla when he's down only confirms the cheap attitude of the Stars.

I almost didn't recognize Iginla without his visor on! Maybe he has heard all the rumblings about it.

the extra shots werent needed. but this fight had MAJOR legs from the last stars/flames game. Ott and Iginla went at it tooth and nail in that game. This was evident from the fact the fight happened less than one minute into this game. Iginla was no angel in the previous game or this game. So maybe some of the normal fighting "rules" gave way to pure passion. And in the NHL fighting scene these days, I'll take a true pissed-off fight over a strict follow the rules fight.

these guys wanted to go. the details aren't as important as the result...a spirited bout.

Close fight, Ott has no class. Iglinla has hit people when they are down before. Call it a draw

Not a big Iginla fan but I give him alot of credit for taking off his helmet since he wears a visor. Tired of all these "fighters" this season fighting with visors on and nothing being done about it!!
