Godard with the easy win, desicive win bec Greene was in hard position in the end.
Not much punches here because was short fight but pretty clear control by Godard.

Not much here. Greene is out of his league but got lucky not to take a real beating in this one. Could easily call this a draw as no damage was done, then again, Greene looked pretty scared so win for EG.

Godard wins easily.

I would much rather have what Edmonton has. A bunch of guys that can play hockey and will fight when needed than a idiot like goddard who sit on the bench keeping Cujo company for about 58min of every game.

TKO a bit much but Godard showed alot of class not givin it to a defenceless Greene who was open and kneeling in front of him. If Greene could have stood up there would have been many more punches. Godard is a true heavyweight and Greene is just heavy.
I kinda agree with all those who give kudos to Greene for standing up for his team but in the last game when Robyn Regehr took on Stortini he (again a non-fighter) did alot better than Greene did.
But i hate the Oilers so who am I to say, except - get yourself a legitimate heavyweight so goofs like this don't have to fight.

Dominating? He didn't land a punch...sure he gets the win from just throwing, but this was far from any domination. Have to land some punches for that.

Easy win for Godard. He could have hit greene with a couple as he was still tryin to go, but showed class so good for him. Also gotta give Greene some credit for goin with one of the best in the NHL.

Greene shows a lot of guts standing up to Godard. Any team would be lucky to have him. Unlike Stortini who hid from Godard all night long!

godard with the dominating win.

Good on Matt Greene for standing up to the much more experienced Godard. Godard probably won, but Greene showed a lot of guts by fighting him

Wrestling match....Draw.
Godard did get a takedown at the end but thats not fighting!

If I was scoring on pure guts... Your winner is Greene. If your scoring on punches landed... It's a draw. If your scoring on who was more in control... Your winner is Godard. Hmm, I think i'll score it on reputation. Win Godard. Cause he's one of the best toe 2 toe.

Credit to Greene for standing up for his team. Unlike "Scaredorini", by the way, is there anyone who has not beat him up this year? He certainly has earned his nickname as a "Taffy Puller".

I am a huge Godard fan, I think he is underrated as a fighter. At least he is out here in the east since outside of this site, we don't get to see him much. I give him the duke in a not very good fight although Godard did show class by not hitting Green when he was down at the end.
