Laperriere gives Tootoo a couple of slashes while they skate down the ice. Tootoo turns around and throws a gloved right at Laperriere. They drop the gloves and go back and forth with rights to start the bout. Laperriere throws a right that misses, loses his balance, and falls down. A good energy in this bout, no doubt.
They didn't still land very much.
Lappy got the best punch to me, his first one, that lands flush, though.
Tootoo replied immediately with bigger one, but that hits to the back of Lappy's head and taked by it a helmet off of Lappy's head.
Tootoo was little more active and i think he would should to win.
Lappy is bigger, but Tootoo is better fighter.
Lappy defended well in this one.
In the end Tootoo taked Lappy down to the ice.
I put a draw for the outcome.

Ian Laperriere vs Jordin Tootoo

Laperriere challenges Tootoo, and they drop the gloves. Laperriere throws a right, as Tootoo starts off with a flurry of lefts, knocking off Laperriere's helmet. Laperriere throws another right, hitting Tootoo's helmet. After that, they wrestle around for a moment, then fall to the ice with Tootoo on top.

I can't, with good conscience, vote for either of these guys. They both suck. Tootoo is nothing but garbage.

Tootoo wins. Laperriere found out what a lot of others learned. Tootoo can fight.

Another cheap shot by tutu.
Turns around and punches a gloved and unsuspecting Lappierre.
No wonder this guy gets zero respect from around the league. Avery has more class than this guy.

Edge to Lappy.

Tootoo once again throwing a roundhouse before the other guy even has a chance to get his gloves off. The little punk needs to square up with guys instead of trying to coldcock them with the first punch. Tootoo doesn't respect the code.

I need to see Tootoo go some genuine scrappers this year before he gets any respect from me.

I can't belive Harold was the only one that mentioned Tootoo throwin a sucker punch before he even squares up. If he woulda connected, it woulda been Robidas pt. 2. I love watchin Tootoo play, hard-nosed and on the edge, but those kinda cheapshots aren't gonna get him much respect around the league.
Aside from that, pretty uneventful fight.
