Mar 11, 2007 Los Angeles Kings Tom Kostopoulos
2pd 14:34 Dallas Stars Krys Barch
Comments: After a hard hit near the benches Kostopoulos and Barch drop the gloves and quickly grab on to each other. The start exchanging rights, Barch goes up high and Kostopoulos mixes in some body shots. After a couple of shots Barch's helmet pops off. After a few more rights they get into an awkward position against the Stars' bench and Barch is the only the one who continues to throw. The move away from the boards and Kostopoulos tries to re-position himself without losing his balance. He gets off one right and Barch counterpunches as Barch spins Tom K around towards the Kings' bench. As the linemen come in to break it up Raitis Ivanans has some words for Barch from the bench, and has to be pushed to his seat.

I hate those 'merry-go-round' fights that have very few punches.

These guys played together in junior for the London Knights in the late 90's when neither was a big fighter. How far they've come! Draw.

Dancing! Talk about not wanting to get hit. Two guys who I figured would punch, but all they did was dance with each other like Lance Bass and his boyfriend. There's more violence in ping pong than in this fight.

Swing your partner round and round, that's a George Parros style fight if i ever saw one! Kostopoulos landed the harder punches and Barch wrestled better but in the end, not much of a fight... A draw for sure.

I like how Kostopoulos is willing to drop em, even though he weighs about 150.
